Mostly a takeaway or delivery spot, it was nice to see a couple of tables for dine in. Although tempted by the limited time offer of a 16oz. Bone in ribeye, my choice was the 10 oz with all the fixings, including a free sweet tea. The process and wait time was reasonable since food is cooked to order. Steak out was a staple of my childhood dinner time. So when they came up for a work lunch idea I was glad to give it a go. Their prices have raised for sure to compensate the rising costs of everything but, my meal was $13.49 with little actual steak on it. The 4 pieces on the top were all there were on the sandwich. I got the sirloin cheesesteak sandwich. It was hot and seasoned well though, the peppers and cheese were mostly what I got. The meal comes with only regular lays chips without an up charge. Little disappointing but, that's what they have. Plenty of other side options though if you choose to upgrade. I had clicked off the switch that said to leave the food at the door as it was pouring rain and I wanted to also give our drive a cash tip as well as the tip I had added on my bill. I've loved Steak Out for years, ever since I had a business in Le Pavilion in the 1990s. Their cheeseburgers are great as well as the sirloin tips, and the bone in Ribasaurus is awesome. We order from them so often they know my voice and name by heart. BUT The recent price increase is ridiculous, burger with chips is $10, and all of the steaks just went up $5.00. I feel indifferent about SteakOut. If you're looking for a cheap steak or burger that's seasoned well but may stop your digestive flow later?.. I say go for it. But if you want to avoid feeling heavy and groggy later.. avoid. Granted, the meat was seasoned well but it was so tough and chewy that I felt morally bad after eating it. I had a chopped steak meal ordered through GrubHub. Grub Hub did their part. Food was hot and fresh and got here quick. It just lacked... healthy. SteakOut dropped the ball a little. I asked for a extra cup of butter, sour cream and steak sauce and the cook whom wasn't the cashier wanted to charge me $1.25. I was shocked when I just paid $24 for a meal and you wanted to charge me extra. Plus on the top of that I didn't even receive my cheese for my potato that I'm pretty sure I paid for. This update is way overdue. Apologies to Steak Out.... To their credit, the owner of Steak Out franchises reached out next day to discuss. He told me I would hear from the franchisee I the next day or two. I did indeed speak with the franchise owner, who was very kind and apologetic. After chatting, she offered a full refund or another chance to earn their business. I took her up on her offer and recommendation of steak tips. I will tell you that they were GREAT! Cooked perfectly (medium rare) and flavorful. The salad was fresh and another excellent potato was served. Going forward, it'll be steak tips for me! My order was completely the wrong thing, to include chocolate cheesecake which came as regular cheesecake, and a BBQ chicken sandwich instead of a BBQ bacon cheeseburger. I used to really like this place but the last few times they don't even follow the hours of operation. I tried to call them at 10:30 both pm, nobody picks up a phone. It gets one star because the delivery is spot on. I've ordered twice and the food was disgusting each time. The first time I gave it the benefit of the doubt after I ordered the steak tips and received all of 9 pieces so I ordered again. The second time I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich and it was just awful and small. The ONLY good things about this place are the chocolate cake which I'm sure is just a frozen one from Walmart (and over priced at 4.99 a slice) and their baked potatoes are always super soft. It's a steak place that delivers. That's amazing. The food got here still really hot. The potato I couldn't even touch without letting it cool down. They make sure you have all the condiments and don't assume that you'll have anything at wherever you're staying. Sour cream, butter, salt, and pepper for the potato. Lots of packets of heinz 57 steak sauce. I would have preferred A1, but that's a nitpick. Basically they prepare you to dig into the steak they're bringing you. I'm about to leave Augusta and I'm glad I ordered from here before I left. Getting a steak delivered to your door isn't cheap obviously but as an occasional splurge it's great. I got the most expensive steak and it was $26. The Ribasaurus. They have a lot less expensive steaks though, normally around $18. read more

The manager Marcus had literally humiliated me and called me a liar. I gave the driver in a tan colored Nissan exterra a 100$ Plus the cost of my food. The manager called me a liar because I ordered food on Saturday and I'm just now calling back. Obviously I'm hungry and I'm inquiring about money missing which I may or may not have given the driver. I ordered from this place about 2 weeks ago, food was on point no problems, The menu states Double Stack Cheddar Burger, served with jalapenos & ranch sauce. That's what I got on the first order, ranch dressing and jalapeno's, I ordered the same order today but added a drink, and extra onions and ketchup, when I get the order no extra onions no extra ketchup (at work) and now they have a ranch jalapenos sauce which is THE WORST, I called back to ask about the sauce and jalapenos and was given the run around.
