Our servers were delightful, but service for tonight's event was sluggish at times. Course 1 Parmesean Pistachio Arugula Salad with Burrata paired with Josh Cellars Procecco I don't know what went wrong with this salad; it was HEAVILY salted and inedible to most at our table. I had to abandon the salad, but the procecco was delightful and everyone LOVED the mini bomb pop! Course 2 Champagne Linguine with Shrimp paired with Star Spangled Spritz This was an elevated pasta and cheese and the shrimp was done just right. It paired very well with the light and sparkly star spangled spritz. Course 3 Lasagne-herbed Grilled Chicken paired with New York Sour This dish was essentially a grilled, and juicy chicken parmesean and it hit just right. The New York Sour is made with bourbon and topped with cabernet. For me, it wasn't a winner. Course 4 Cinnamon Apple Crostata paired with Apple Old Fashioned This take on apple pie a la mode was just the right accompaniment after the smoky, spicy chicken in the third course. Sweet and tart apples under a flaky crust and topped with sweet vanilla ice cream. The apple old fashioned with bourbon had a subtle hint of apple and quickly became my happy place. read more

After a long, stormy Friday evening, my family and I decided to celebrate a graduation with dinner at Carrabba's on Washington Road in Augusta. We arrived around 9 PM, and despite the weather, there were still a few larger parties dining, though the restaurant was far from crowded. Right from the start, the hospitality stood out. The hostess graciously welcomed us and offered complimentary wine samples while we waited. My husband sampled a white wine while I tried a red. Neither was particularly memorable, but the gesture was appreciated and set a welcoming tone for the evening. Of course, we couldn't resist ordering our favorite cocktail, the Prickly Pear Margarita. As always, it was absolutely delicious. If you've never tried one, do yourself a favor and order it. It's one of the best specialty margaritas around. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. For dinner, I kept it light with an entrée Caesar salad, my husband ordered the Chicken Marsala, and our son chose the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka. Every dish was prepared well, flavorful, and exactly what we've come to expect from Carrabba's over the years. While the food was very good, the service was truly exceptional. I've always received solid service at Carrabba's, but this visit was on another level. Every interaction felt genuine, attentive, and customer focused without ever being intrusive. With so many dining options along Washington Road, choosing where to eat can be a challenge. You're told that they don't take phone reservations however, their website for same day reservations is not only open but you can make modifications to the reservation time. I had t been to a Carrabba's in a long time but never with the whole family so it was nice as we all love Italian food. The place looked packed so we expected a wait but we were sat within 5 minutes, our server was fantastic and made us feel at home the whole night. All of the food came out looking and smelling delicious and tasted even better! Not one person had a complaint which is rare in our family especially with 3 kids. I got the Johnny trio and substituted for the steak because why not? I've never had nor heard of chicken Bryan so I wasn't sure what I should expect, but I will say whatever the goat cheese they put on it is something else. I'm not a fan of it but I ate it anyway, but that's just me so I can't knock them on something I've never eaten before. The portions are great in size for what you pay for, everyone left fat and happy so that's all you can really ask for in a good meal. First of all, I have to say if I could give 10 stars, I would. This place was an absolute blast and the food was AMAZING. I got this very delicious pasta with shrimp and steak, and substituted the garlic butter for lemon butter. It was FANTASTIC. The lemon butter tasted like real lemons were added into it, but it wasn't to overwhelming or overpowering. And the steak was so so soft! It felt like I was cutting into warm butter. Went one afternoon for a quiet lunch with my aunt. Ordered the pasta carbonara and I always forget how large their servings are. This pasta dish lasted for three meals (leftovers) for me. It reheated well. I like that they use fresh pasta instead of dried boxed pasta. Service was quick and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. I ordered a bar drink and the bartender brought it to the table instead of waiting for the waiter to bring it, which I thought was nice and a great example of teamwork on their parts. Ate here once before and it was a good experience, however tonight was an entorely different story. We had a very patient server and she was pleasant but she never introduced herself. One guest ordered chicken wings and there was no celery or carrot sticks. When asked server ws told they dont serve them but yet they are pictured on the menu. Another ordered steak and it was brought to us just over room temp. Another guests order was as it should have been and my chicken parm was warm but pasta had to be sent back because it was literally cold. The bread coming out to the table was warmer than the food that was served. The restaurant is clean and inviting but beware....THE BATHROOMS WERE OUT OF ORDER.....YES.....BOTH OF THEM. We have HAD about 6+ meals a year at this location for the last 12++ years. The last visit on a Thursday 25 at about 3pm, Sept. 2025 was the far below usual or typical. It must have been the time for waitstaff shift change, and our usual waiter was just leaving. Our usual order was placed. The calamari was very good and fried to our instructions. The Bread was hot, and the waiter was reminded of the requested extra butter. Which took some time to get and bread became cold. Chicken Soup was great. ICE-TEA which is 70% ICE and with 30+% water with a hint of tea flavor added is ridiculously priced. A beer is cheap by the oz. The Chicken Fetticulli was ordered with just noodles, sauce and chicken with extra chicken. NOTE: They charge a ridiculous $11.95 for 1 extra chicken breast to be added. Chicken Fetticulli arrived over sauced and soupy, short on noodles lukewarm at best. Then the waiter disappeared, not to be seen again until the $70+ check was being delivered. We told him the Chicken Fetticulli arrived over sauced, soupy, and short on noodles. He just said they had a new cook. Sorry, the now $70+ check for a same order we have placed and ate there 10+ year for under $58.90, won't get it anymore. This overall exp may explain why the place was short on customers. read more

I normally never write reviews but this was just too much. The food was so cold we had to warm it up. The pasta sauce tasted like water, LITERLLY. Bar was full and there was a bit of confusion at the hostess stand but they still got us seated in a booth by the bar and we were able to get the happy hour menu! So it was right before the big dinner rush. Not to many people. Our server name was Alyssa and she was great! The manager came out and greater us as well when our food came out, he made sure we was enjoying everything. That was a nice experience. We will definitely be back. The food was supper good. I was at first shock at the small portion of ravioli I received. But once I took a bite i understood why. The ravioli was rich in flavor, And it filled me up after having app & salad. First time coming to this location. Service started off with drinks and a calamari as an appetizer. Along side some fresh grinder peppers, red peppers, and olive oil with bread (bread not pictured). They bring the dish out with the peppers and pour the olive oil in front of us. Calamari was very tasty with the side of marinara sauce and a spicy cheesy dipping for sauce. Both were great pairing with the calamari. For our entrees, we ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine alla Vodka and Johnny Trio. The pasta was served hot and was very flavorful. The shrimp and scallop was a bit tough but the sauce made it up. My buddy said the trio was scrumptious that was very filling. Vibe was very calm and quiet but then again we were there when it opened at 11:00am. Might give this place a try again one day. read more

I don't really go to these franchise type of restaurants but I had to for a friends gathering & 1-Star is going to make sense after I explain. The food, I've noticed the cheese was melted & dry. Which means the cheese melted & sat in the kitchen for a while for it to look dry as it did. That goes the same for my table's food as well, I've noticed the waitress tending to multiple tables but hey, if you can't handle that many tables, don't. Don't let another waiter/waitress miss out on their chance of making money because you wanted to make money & provide poor service. Next time this happens, I will mention names. I don't recommend their calamari because they are not breaded and fried well. Also, the fettuccine Alfredo I got as a side for my steak was kind of hard and dry. On the other hand, I do recommend their garlic mussels, shrimp scampi, and most of the pastas. The environment is nice with lots of booths and tables; there's a bar as well. I like the lighting of the restaurant too. I think it's great for dates and meeting with friends. Unfortunately I think there's better Italian restaurants here that have better value in Augusta, so I don't know if I will come back again. read more

I love their bread with olive oil and their shrimp scampi appetizer is absolutely phenomenal. Honestly that makes the whole meal for me. 5 stars! Their pasta was sadly disappointing for me because it tastes exactly like what I make at home. Hmm..Does that mean their pasta is not good or that I'm an amazing cook?? I attended a birthday dinner with my neice. We were a small party- and the restaurant wasn't busy. We chose 3 PM- because we had gone at a later time before and the food was bland and the mashed potatoes actually had a film on them. Today... hum... what can I say? The mezzaluna was cold. I sent my entree back and the temperature was raised to tepid. I appreciate the manager coming over and addressing my concerns and offered gift cards. Carrabba's dont blame your employees! While in Augusta for my cousin's graduation, the dinner for the graduate was held here at Carrabba's. Though I'm from Augusta, I haven't eaten at Carrabba's since my high school days when they first opened and even though I'm still not the hugest Italian fan, I've grown to appreciate it. The Service: The service was fair. We had a rather large group, so they tried to do the best they could, but it took a while for drinks AND food to come out. The waiters were nice, though. Especially after dealing with everyone's requests. The Food: I still didn't really know what I wanted, so I went with a Chicken Caesar salad ($9.99). Can't go wrong. The chicken had a savory flavor to it that complimented the salad itself. Not bad for $10. Decent portion as well. Complaint - The kids who ordered chicken tenders kids meal were not able to have dipping sauces, because they don't have any. No honey mustard, BBQ, ranch, NOTHING.
