Tonight we're here for Bonefish Grill's July 4-Course "Taste of Paradise" Cocktail Pairing Dinner". Tonight's event was well attended, but there were lots of available seats left over. First Course: Coconut shrimp paired with an Orchid Isle - The rum-based cocktail was delicious with hints of lychee's and ginger but too sweet for my tastes. The shrimp were well done and pineapple glaze was a perfect accompaniment. Second Course: Grilled Scallops and Mango salad paired with a Jungle Bird - The drink arrived first and it was a delicious concoction made with Meyers Rum and pineapple. Would definitely order this again. The salad benefited from having tender grilled scallops, goat cheese, chopped mango and red bell peppers dressed with a tangy vinaigrette. Delicious! Third Course: Blackened Unicorn fish with corn salsa paired with Tahitian Remedy. The fish was SPICY! Fortunately the Tahitian Remedy eased the pain. Fourth Course: Guava crème brûlée paired with Passion Pearl Diver. Another divine drink with Myers Rum orange and passion fruit juices. Hopefully this one also joins the permanent menu. The crème brûlée was good but the 'not quite ripe' mango detracts a bit from the experience. Overall this was one of the better tasting menu offerings from Bonefish. This Bonefish location in the past was one of the best and is now one of the worst ! We recently purchased a large take out order that was pretty much inedible and instead of writing a bad review I called and spoke to the managing partner Damitria who was apologetic and asked me to speak with her in person the next time I came in and she "would make it right". I personally and by myself went in for a late lunch at 3;00 pm on 9/16/26 when it was not busy and spent about One hundred dollars on my meal and one to take home. I did in fact introduce myself to Damitria who subsequently did nothing to "make it right" as promised. I can only attribute the serious decline in quality of food and service to poor management. Damitria was a younger person who obviously has a lot to learn. I strongly recommend that you not waste your money at this now sub par restaurant, I know I never will moving forward. read more

Had a girls night here on Monday for $5 martinis. What a good deal! Plus it's such a vibe for drinks and sides like truffle fries. Service was amazing, and drinks were good. I got 2 espresso martinis and a side of fries which came to a total of $15. I've been told their food is good too, so that's a must for me. They do social hour every day for a good deal, so definitely stop by for that too! read more

My husband and I dined here on Father's Day and the food was shockingly bad.. I ordered the Sea Bass and he had the Ribeye. Our food came out barely warm. My bass was under cooked and asparagus burnt, his ribeye was tough and grisly. Potatoes under cooked it was extremely disappointing and not on brand for the Bonefish Grill. Bonefish Grill never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm and polished without feeling stuffy, and the service is consistently on point--friendly, attentive, and never rushed. I have never been treated so badly as a customer. I made a reservation, showed up on time, waited patiently to get seated. It was Mother's Day, I get that it was busy. We waited 30 minutes before we saw a server. After we finally got a server to come to the table we got water and ordered appetizers. To their credit the appetizers came but she took our dinner order we waited 60 minutes for our food which never came. I finally told them I had to go while I thought they were going to make things right, I was charged for what we ate and sent on our way on Mother's Day. I really loved Bonefish Grill, it was my favorite place but I can't go back there anymore if they don't know how to handle busy days. read more

I usually enjoy Bonefish Grill and the food and service were both great during my visit last night. Unfortunately, the experience was brought down upon just stepping in the building. The host whose name i believe was Barbara (as told by my server) was loud, obnoxious, and very unprofessional. When I arrived, I was greeted with her practically screaming at me like i wasn't 2 feet in-front of her, she then waited about 3 minutes for the other host to return before seating me...simply because i think she couldn't be bothered to walk me to my table herself. It came across as lazy and disrespectful, especially when the rest of the staff was working hard to give good service but all i got from her was an obnoxious "HELLO HOW ARE YOU". Bonefish Grill deserves better front-of-house representation than that and i know that because i've seen it, im not sure it's just bad management fleeing the workers away but the Bonefish grill employment has gone DOWN HILL. in the past few months...especially the host's. read more

Meh... My family and I went here, Sunday night(7/27) to celebrate my birthday and my aunts going away. We called ahead for a party of eight. We were greeted and seated in the rather empty dining room quickly but it also filled up quickly, this was around 4:30-5pm. They advised us when we arrived that there fryers were down so nothing could be fried.. So no bang bang shrimp...I ordered the dumpling app, thinking they were steamed but boy was I wrong! I got dumplings but they seemed like dry chicken wings, almost like they were frozen and someone just threw them in the microwave. The filling was delicious but the sauce was too salty. I also ordered chocolate martini and it has chunks of ice in it but the brownie bite, although straight out the fridge or freezer was good. My entree, the cilantro lime salmon with rice and Mexican Street corn (that they could've kept). I didn't eat the corn because it just wasn't Mexican Street Corn, having just moved here from AZ it was "different," heavy. They gave me a coupon for my birthday to return... We'll see lol read more

The Bang Bang Shrimp was good however can tell they changed their flavor profile slightly. I am not a huge chain restaurant, or seafood fan, but my experience here was great. I loved the atmosphere as it was warm and inviting. The menu has a lot of options and there were daily specials. I started with a glass of Decoy Sauvignon Blanc and the pour was good. I ordered the cedar plank salmon special with double jasmine rice in lieu of the green beans. Food arrived in a timely manner and it was nice and hot. The flavors of the salmon were great and I loved the jasmine rice. We had a very nice meal this evening. While we sat in the bar it was full of ambiance. I had a White cosmo -delish! We split the potsticker appetizer, it was okay. I ordered dinner for Mother's Day and had it delivered via Uber Eats. Out of the 3 dinners, 1 appetizer, 1 kids meal and 1 dessert that I ordered.....the kids meal was correct. COMPLETELY CORRECT! As a long time fan of Bonefish in Augusta, I have been so disappointed by the service, food, and drink availability at the restaurant in Augusta. Since a new manager took over, the quality of service and menu options are awful. The last three times we have gone should have been a sign not to go back. Last night was the worst. We arrived at 4:45. Would not be seated because "they did not have enough wait staff to serve us (only two tables were occupied in the dining room. But I specifically asked to be seated in the bar area. Initially I was told 30 minute wait. Thirty minutes later I checked in; I was told it would be five more minutes. Fifteen minutes later we still were not seated nor could we order a drink and told not to sit at any tables in the bar area. We just wanted to order drinks from the bar and wait to be seated. We also noticed that people were just sitting at the bar after they had paid the bill and only turning seats over to certain people. A very nice server brought around bang bang shrimp but we had no napkins and still no drink. After an hour and 10 minutes waiting to be seated we were seated in the dining room. Definitely not where I had requested, but we went with it. We ordered two lemon drop martinis and bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. To our surprise the martinis were not served in the customary martini glasses but in what looked like juice glasses. That was not acceptable and I immediately said something. We were told they were out of martini glasses. We noticed another table were served martinis in the appropriate glass. The waitress told me it was because they didn't have enough martini glasses because they hadn't been washed. My friend and ordered entrees even though the bang bang shrimp had not been served. Our shrimp arrived about 3 minutes before our entrees were brought to the table. It took two tries to get what I wanted. They were out of two different sides so I ended up with a salad. It was awful- iceberg lettuce and they were out of the dressing I ordered. This fiasco is definitely on the manager. How are you not prepared with wait staff, martini glasses, and sides on Martini Monday? I was so put out by the end of the night; the waitress knew we were frustrated but no manager appeared. An apology would have gone a long way. I also did not get my dine rewards (I could have used them another restaurant. As a long time fan of Bonefish I will not go back nor would I recommend the restaurant to anyone. Food was marginal at best. I'm not sure what the hiring criteria is for managers but even without restaurant experience I could have done a better job. I have been attending Bonefish 4 course meal event for the last 6 months and by far this is my worst experience. They have added a new rule in which your whole party must be onsite before you are allowed to be seated. Of course, one my party member arrived at 6:20 and event started at 6:30. However, they didn't have enough space to seat my party together. Many people have complained in the past about the food coming out cold so they improved on that service. Lastly, it took an hour for everyone to get their checks to pay for their meal. They need to make sure they have enough POS system to print out the bill or have the tablet where you can pay at the table. read more

The server brought our bread and oil and asked if they could bring us anything else. I got the Atlantic Salmon, broccoli (soft please), & the kung pao brussel sprouts. It took FOREVER! While we were waiting, a table across from us requested a to-go bag. Server said she'd be right back and never came back. The group eventually left with styrofoam in hand. Meanwhile, still no food. And when the food did come, it wasn't correct. My wife ordered fish, rice and broccoli. She got fish, rice, and mashed potatoes. I was handed a plate with fish and broccoli. Our missing slides came back in like two minutes. If it only took 2 minutes for the sides to be ready, that means the food delay was the fish cook time. Doubt if I'll be back any time soon. read more

I went to bonefish Grill, two weeks in a row. Once for my birthday and once for my husbands. Both times we had an excellent dinner a nice dessert and a birthday card at the end of the meal. My husband's fish was a little greasy of they recooked it. The only downside of the evening was that I ordered coffee and what I got was lukewarm old coffee. Not the worst thing in the world that can happen to you. I just went home and made some from my Keurig. I would like to thank the manager for stopping by our table and making sure everything was good. I would like to thank my waitress for being sweet and patient with us. Three of us went to Bonefish at 3:15 pm on Sunday afternoon. There were plenty of available tables (I counted 24 empty tables in the main dining room)so we were shocked to hear there was a 15-20 minute wait. When I asked if they were short staffed, the hostess said no there was plenty of staff but they had to scatter the seatings. I have never been to a restaurant with so much available seating and told to wait. Absolutely ridiculous. There was a lady who was dining alone ahead of us that was also forced to wait. While waiting, I went on the app and made a reservation. Once my reservation went through, we were seated immediately off of the reservation. Made absolutely no sense. Bonefish is usually is our "go to" for special occasions because the food is usually top notch, and suits our taste for seafood. This time? Service was beyond lousy, and management's response was even worse. We arrived a bit early for our reservation on Mother's Day, understanding that it was very busy. We posted up at the bar to wait on our table, which was said to be 15-20 minutes out, based on their back-up. Ok, no worries. The bartender took our drink order, and after wandering back and forth for a full ten minutes, recognized that she had not made our drinks. So we waited, and waited. My wife checked, and they said they were seating people who were half an hour ahead of us. And we waited through another cocktail. FINALLY, we were called to be seated, 1 hour after we arrived and 45 minutes after our reservation. Ok, not so bad, right? BUT!! They seated us at a high top in the bar, 10 feet from where we had been waiting an hour. When I protested, the manager said we could go to the back of the line for a table, and more or less said that if I didn't like it, I could hit the door. So, the managing partner was called, and we went outside to discuss the issue out of earshot of customers. (my request) . He offered exactly nothing except "I'm sorry", but in his presence, the manager suddenly lost his big cajones. All I can say is sorry, management all the way around. read more

But what made this visit note worthy was the service and attentiveness of wait staff. It occurred to us just how good they are as a matter of routine, not exception. This is about the fourth or fifth "paired dinner" we've been to at Bonefish Grill. Today's was a "Merry Martini" 5 course dinner and my wife and I agreed that it was the best one we've been to. Each martini went so well with the paired food. Each of the five courses were wonderful. We also enjoyed the company of new friends we've met at these dinners the last few times. Shiela was the host and did a wonderful job. This particular event was not attended as much as others but I attribute that to Bonefish offering this same dinner on December 9th. The drinks were also wonderful with the following martinis: Veuve clicquot yellow label, frosted rosemary pomegranate (my favorite), partridge in a pear tree, winter white cosmo, and ending with a decadent chocolate orange martini. I applaud Bonefish for taking our suggestions from previous dinners and giving small portions of the alcohol drinks. Before, the drinks were full size and you had to drink them quickly to be finished before the next course was brought out. That was a lot of alcohol in a short period of time which was risky for the drive home. The drink sizes were very reasonable and finishing them before the next drink came didn't seem rushed. I went to Bonefish Grill in the evening time after I finished massive yard work and I wanted to go out to eat seafood and NOT cook for myself. I got there and it was a 45-minute wait during the dinner rush, but I had a feeling I wouldn't wait that long without a planned reservation, so I put my name on the list. And 15-minutes later my phone notified me my table was ready. I was greeted graciously by the server and saw on the menu a Seasonal Winter White Cosmo garnished beautifully with cranberries. I ordered that and it was mixed to perfection. I looked over the amazing selection of seafood and saw Mussels Josephine on the Starters that are cooked in a garlic broth and came out ever so tasteful and delicious. Then on their Specials menu, they had a Rockefeller Butterfish which was the black cod, with lump crab that I ordered for my main course, it had a beautiful presentation with fantastic flavoring and it came with your pick of 2 sides so I went with the Premium Sides; Creme of Spinach and Asparagus. And lastly, for dessert, I ordered the Cheesecake sitting on top of a raspberry finish that seduced my palette ever so well to the ending of my night with BoneFish Grill. The ambiance was intimate and sexy. It's a perfect place for a night out solo or with a special someone. Bonefish Grill will take your palette on a beautiful journey of satisfaction.
