Honda grom heaven all your mini moto needs are here. They even have affirm payment plans

I purchased a longblock Zongshen 212cc motor from Steady Garage. While installing a Sex Machine disc clutch set with stronger springs, the pressure plate snapped. I called to see if I could get another one to replace the broken one. They were sold out of the individual plates and the complete basket kits. After check all possible available sources in their facilities. They were aware of the problem of the plate failure and had talked to Chimera about having some billet plates made for just that reason. They had asked Chimera 6 months ago to have these plates cut from billet stock to resolve the breakage problems. Today I called Steady Garage and talked to Kevin. He in turn called Chimera and got them on the ball with production of the pressure plates. He then called me back, well after business hours to let me know that the plates are going into production and he'll call me when they are available. This is on a Monday at 8:30 pm. If that is the way they handle customer service, Wow! This shop has got a loyal customer in me. Aloha Steady Garage from Hawai'i

After purchasing on there online store and frequent calls concerning my ruckus needs, I was finally able to go to their shop. All the associates were very helpful on answering all my questions and very knowledgable on all there products they sell. I was able to leave the store with the parts I was looking for plus more. Will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area next time.

Parts I ordered from steady garage!

The sales people were not pushy and allowed us to browse the motorcycles. Unfortunately, we did not see the bike that was listed on their website and went straight to the parts shop. The guy helping us at the helmet section (I forget his name but it could be Xavier?) was easy going and let me browse the selection without breathing down my neck and was able to answer my questions when asked. So, where did it go wrong? When his coworker (some young, white kid) decided to jump in to help and then talked back to my partner regarding a display item vs open box item, which was uncalled for and completely rude as hell. We still ended up purchasing a helmet since I really needed one for some plans later in the day. I made sure I spoke to Xavier (I'm sorry if I got your name wrong but I'm pretty sure that's the name that came up when I was paying at the front) about the item I wanted in case he gets some sort of credit for helping out. And kid, there IS a difference between a display item and an open box item. I'm not sure how my partner's question triggered him to answer with such attitude lol. Like it isn't stressful enough to decide which helmet to purchase??

I always regretted not buying my first Harley here. I have…read morebeen coming to this location for years for parts and service. Even before I had a Harley, (I rode a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad), I would visit their merchandise section. The store is always inviting , especially after the remodel, and the sales team are not like car dealership vultures, following you everywhere you go. But if you had a question there was always someone ready to answer them. So with all my past visits I would take note how different sales personnel interacted with customers. Then I bought a Harley in 2023 and started logging my mileage on my motor at Laidlaws which requires interaction with the staff. So when I finally decided to trade my 2023 motor cycle I knew who I wanted to work with. And I was not disappointed! Mickey is a 'no pressure' kind-of salesman. He calmly answered my questions. No eye-roll, sighing, condescending comebacks. I had his full attention. I was torn between three bikes. When I narrowed it to what I thought was 'The One' he wrote up the offer and took it to the boss. As I waited I knew the one I picked was not what I really wanted. I was 'settling' for it for the bells and whistles and lower price (pre-owned). It wasn't the color I wanted. When I told him this, without hesitation, he offered to write up another offer on the new motor I originally went in for. His calm demeanor helped make this purchase a pleasant experience. Not once did I feel like walking away from the process. In fact, it didn't even feel like a process. It was just 2 guys sharing information as we talked about 'motorcycle life' stuff. I liked what the final offer was and the deal was made. I would definately make another purchase at Laidlaws. Thanks Mickey!

Last item on the list was an oil change and I opted to have M Racing do that. David did the oil change, took it out for a test drive and was very helpful with suggestions. He spotted a plastic cap on the cooling reservoir tank that needed replacement and we ordered the inexpensive part. I had an issue with the throttle on my bike. It would work fine going through the gears but cruising, there was a slight pause before response in accelerating. For some reason the oil change resolved the issue. The throttle became more sensitive so slight speed changes. It was probably the engine working better with the synthetic oil. Shifting improved immensely, became much smoother and the Triumph feels like is has an automatic transmission. My bike felt like a new bike when driving home with the short term maintenance done. Happy camper. Thanks David. I appreciate your help and workmanship. M Racing - recommended.

I struggled so hard to find a place that i towed my scooter all the way from San Diego to LA. I was given my invoice before arriving including labor time. Quieter, no stalling, and they even fixed my trunk area that continuously popped up. The ONLY downside is that i was unaware that one of the pieces i thought i ordered didn't come, so they replaced my front fender with one that is slightly off color. Doesn't bother me much but wish i would have known that. Regardless, i am happy with the price, the service, and the fact that they helped me strap it back into my uhaul tightly before i drove home to San Diego to make sure i was safe. Thank you all so much again. I am very thankful to have my scooter back quickly and feel safe on it again.
