I always regretted not buying my first Harley here. I have been coming to this location for years for parts and service. Even before I had a Harley, (I rode a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad), I would visit their merchandise section. The store is always inviting , especially after the remodel, and the sales team are not like car dealership vultures, following you everywhere you go. But if you had a question there was always someone ready to answer them. So with all my past visits I would take note how different sales personnel interacted with customers. Then I bought a Harley in 2023 and started logging my mileage on my motor at Laidlaws which requires interaction with the staff. So when I finally decided to trade my 2023 motor cycle I knew who I wanted to work with. And I was not disappointed! Mickey is a 'no pressure' kind-of salesman. He calmly answered my questions. No eye-roll, sighing, condescending comebacks. I had his full attention. I was torn between three bikes. When I narrowed it to what I thought was 'The One' he wrote up the offer and took it to the boss. As I waited I knew the one I picked was not what I really wanted. I was 'settling' for it for the bells and whistles and lower price (pre-owned). It wasn't the color I wanted. When I told him this, without hesitation, he offered to write up another offer on the new motor I originally went in for. His calm demeanor helped make this purchase a pleasant experience. Not once did I feel like walking away from the process. In fact, it didn't even feel like a process. It was just 2 guys sharing information as we talked about 'motorcycle life' stuff. I liked what the final offer was and the deal was made. I would definately make another purchase at Laidlaws. Thanks Mickey! read more

Absolutely love this shop! It is a San Gabriel Valley staple. Years and years Laidlaws has been in business. Service department is top-notch! Ty leading the charge on services and everything needed for your Harley Davidson. Motorcloths department is amazing, great service from the girls in there as well. Plenty of options to choose from. Such a cool place to go hang out, on occasion, listen to some music and sometimes they have some pretty good food. You don't have to love Harley Davidson to come hang out at this place. Took my 2025 Pan America in for a coolant leak.Leak was obvious.There was coolant residue around the outlet and down the left side of the engine. It doesn't matter if it's a bicycle, scooter or motorcycle. The thrill has never left my sole. A few years ago I visited a Harley dealer in South Orange County and saw a flashy chromed out factory issued model whose name was "The Breakout." There was something different about this model that spoke to me. I didn't test ride it, I just starred at it. It looked different among all the models displayed on the showroom floor. "Back to the future," prior to pending Cancer surgery in between Chemo therapy treatments I had a strong prompting to visit Laidlaw's Harley Davidson in Baldwin Park California 48 miles from our home in South Orange County. I was greeted with a quiet friendly respectful sales staff whom I have followed on YouTube for several years thanks to Matt Laidlaw the blog creator. In my riding history I have traveled to many of the destinations in the blogs. While watching I relived each trip as if I was "along for the ride." So, after a long talk with my wife Grace, I confessed my aspiration to go to Laidlaw's in Baldwin Park Ca. We boarded our trusted "Gentlemen's Cruiser" (a special edition 2022 Triumph T120) and headed out for the famous iconic Laidlaw's Harley Davidson. I had watched several blogs on the Breakout on YouTube and I again became enchanted with this model. After some negotiation with Raul Espinosa, the salesman who helped me, and after a test drive on the Breakout, we left the dealership to return the next day. Never experienced any pressure or "strong arming" to buy. I also wanted to meet the 3 celebrities from the many blogs on YouTube by Matt Laidlaw. This time I came by myself and after arriving met with Raul again who introduced me to Nick Culver the finance manager (one of the blog celebrities). Nick went through the numbers and after arriving met great deal of calm ver considerate explanation I was about to ride home on my very own "Breakout." There was never any pressure from the staff. i felt they were very concerned with my purchase and no pressure to buy at any time. So, August 15th, I rode home on my new Harley Davidson Breakout. To me, not only representing an iconic "Made in America" brand, but a family tradition of over 60 years of service built on the core values of the American democratic business model, passed down from family to family through all the tradition that American values are built on. Bought my first Harley!!! Big thank you to Scott and Matt Laidlaw and most especially to Raul... I had been looking for and researching 2023 H-D Anniversary Fat Boys throughout L.A. even out of state and saw that Laidlaw had one but it was a bit out of my budget. Thought I'd give it a shot so I reached out and spoke to Raul who was my main contact there and HE WAS AWESOME!! Great communication from Raul, he kept checking in while I was looking at Fat Boys at other dealerships and private parties while still trying to work out a deal. Special thanks to Scott Laidlaw for working the numbers and making magic happen... He got me a rad deal!!! (My friend who works at another Harley dealership said Laidlaw has always been great with being straight shooters... My friend even looked over the paperwork and said her dealership can't beat that deal!!) Not only that, Raul knew that I live 60 miles away in Thousands Oaks so they included transport of the bike directly to my home at no extra charge!!! Plus, when you buy a bike from them, they give you a percentage off of parts/service/merch and a little goodie bag and some swag. Then Raul introduced me to all the nice ladies who work in the merchandise shop, said hi to Taylor/Slim in Parts dept and had a nice chat with Ryan in Service dept... Felt like they made me a member of the family. Got a chance to meet Matt Laidlaw who I've been watching his YouTube channel and really enjoy. All that being said, here's what's amazing about these guys... That following week, I joined the Harley Love Ride with me new Fat Boy when I noticed some clutch and shifting issues... Laidlaw included a limited warranty but wasn't sure if this problem was covered... contacted Ryan in Service and he spoke to Raul. Raul called me said bring it in and let's check it out. Turned out to be a burned out clutch, an expensive fix for a hydraulic clutch replacement... (By the way, Ty in the Service Dept was so kind and knowledgeable and gave me great tips and advice). Raul talked to Scott and they took care of it for me, God bless 'em!! This was hands down, the best VEHICLE buying experience at a dealership I have EVER had!!! It was time for me to transition from two to three wheels. I first stopped at Huntington Beach HD. Although the staff were nice, I couldn't get the deal I wanted. The following week, I found myself at Laidlaw's. I searched online before going to the dealership and saw the trike I was looking for. I purchased a used Tri Glide Ultra Classic and couldn't be happier. Dave "Lefty" Lund is a great sales person and I met the owner, Matt Laidlaw. The ladies is in the clothing section were great also. I have a 2005 Road King Harley Davidson and I assumed the best place to get my bike serviced would be a Harley dealership that does this type of work (oil change) so I requested a quote. I did get a response but it was sorry but they don't service Harley's that are older because they can't get parts. Regular motorcycle shops can get these parts and my bike got serviced somewhere else but Harley can't get Harley parts? That just don't sound right. One positive, is that the have a nice shop inside with some cool gear, shirts and sweatshirts. read more

I had a really bad experience with Laidlaw Harley. The service department feels like they just trying to milk customers for money. They told me my warranty was denied and tried to charge me, but after I called Harley directly, they said there was never even a claim submitted from the dealer. That's honestly a huge red flag. Feels like a total scam and very dishonest business practice. I would not trust them with your bike. read more

Purchased a street glide a week ago and wish I would've bought my first Harley at Laidlaws, they really mean it when they say no mark up. Matt advertised a few 2024's to be sold at cost so I stopped in . I spoke to Mickey and he was awesome, he went over all the details showed me that I was getting it at cost. There was no pressure from Mickey or Nick when signing all the paperwork. Gave me a tour of the of all the departments , gifts , and a quick overview on the bike. I was out in about an hour.
