I thought this would be an easy process, and other KTM dealers in the area told me as much, but this ended up being a massive headache. Getting this solved required interacting with KTM HQ multiple times to sort things out. Allen at Burt's was super helpful in all of this! He figured out what to do entirely remotely (didn't even bring the bike in) and got the account/ownership sorted out with Husqvarna HQ. This was a massive help for a customer that didn't even buy the bike at Burt's. I'll be going to them for any future service needs for sure!

The entire experience was a disappointment from start to finish. I asked for service history documentation, and they couldn't provide anything - which immediately raised red flags. After inspecting the bike myself, it became clear why: The bike needs a Desmo service (around $2,000) The front fork is leaking and needs service (~$1,200) Tires are worn and squared off (~$500) Coolant needs to be flushed and replaced (~$120) Brake fluid needs flushing (~$120) Battery is old and needs replacement (~$300) Chain needs replacement (~$350) Wheel bearings need servicing (~$250) Spark plugs need replacement (~$200) Air filter needs replacement (~$150) On top of all that, the bike only comes with one key - no master key!!!! and they don't even know the PIN code. I tried to negotiate based on the obvious issues, but they were firm on price. To make things worse, they attempted to add a reconditioning fee on top of everything. That's completely absurd given the condition of the bike. Very unprofessional and not transparent. I would not recommend buying from this dealer.

He is genuine and honest about everything that he has done (i.e. inspection/part replacements) to the bike. His prices are not only reasonable, but cheaper than many others that are sold elsewhere. So I think everything is going smoothly. I stay home all day waiting for the truck, and nothing. I call the shipping company on Monday and they start giving me the runaround. I keep at it for days hounding them. They finally admit it's lost on Wednesday. I call powersportsmax and leave several voicemails, no response. So I file a dispute and demand refund from my CC company. On The following Friday, 1 week after supposed delivery, they say they've found my package and are able to delivery on 3/19/2021. So I say sure, why not. I've waited this long, what's a few more days. Same thing happens on the second "delivery date". I call the shipping company and go to town on the poor bastard responsible for talking to customers. Now they say it will be delivered on 3/22/2021. I'm not holding my breath, if it not here at 3pm I'm refusing any shipment and will gladly file suite in small claims court. The only reason this is a 2 star review is because I know the chinese bikes get a bad rap, but they're good beginner bikes if you're mechanically inclined. They're easy to work on and last a long time if you take care of them and DON'T LET THEM SIT. They're carbureted, so the jets get plugged in weeks.

This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had buying through eBay. Customers should not have to chase a company just to get basic information about an order they already paid for.
