Bunch of thieves the girl lied about work that was done on my Kawasaki spent over 500 dollars. Took my quads to san Felipe tried to start it when I finally did started it back fire which that's the reason I took it in for. Spoke to the lady and her response was o yeah that happened here but my mechanic moved some wires and went away. My response was so why didn't look into it before I picked it up she stood quite. This shop is the quintessential hole-in-the-wall. It's small, family owned, and with a very small crew. They've been doing this for awhile so most of their clientele are regulars. This is a credit to their service, quality of work, and affordability. If you live near by, you want this guys to work on your toys. They sell used bikes and gear as well, and will locate any part you need. They'll do custom work upon request. You are their boss. That said, it will take time to get your stuff back. I've spent thousands and saved thousands. I do most of the work on my bike my self, but I rely on these guys for special jobs. Also, I try to get my parts from them. It is cheaper online, but I try to support local family owned shops when I can. I would encourage you to do the same. Lastly, and this is very important, if you make the drive to speak to them in person, they will treat you like a Star. I've been to places where the phone takes priority over a live person. Many times I'm standing at a store, like an idiot, ready to make a purchase, and have to wait until the sales person is done with the phone. It doesn't make sense. Many times I just walked away, never to return, Not HERE! If the phone rings, they'll let it go to voice mail. I like that very much. So, if you call and they don't pick up, leave a message, they are busy with a client. PS. A rating lower then 4 is not deserved. This is a small shop with limited resources that do excellent work at affordable prices. read more

I had experiences with this place and about 90% of dans review is opposite what happens with most people that go there, that would include ppl that I recommended and as well as the other negative reviews that been since removed. So really to go anywhere else is an understatement and to claim to go to local mom n pops at the cost of your bike your pocket book, would make you an idiot to go there. I place this under berts and believe me that is saying alot right there and wouldn't take my bike there either. you want effed up parts ones that break and leave you broke on the road you been forewarned. end of story im out. read more

Had to get some brake pads for a Yamaha Virago today, called them up and waited 5 minutes for them to get a price while the whole time I can hear them talking in the background about small talk and stuff. Finally, they get back with a price of $35, which is a little bit steep, but I can live with it as I was on a tight deadline. Get there and the lady seems pretty nice, buy the pads and double check with her that it will fit the bike (it's for my boss's bike, not mine, so I couldn't bring the bike with me and check), but she assures me that they will fit. I get back to swap the pads and they don't fit. I took some pictures and give them some calls to see if I can get a refund or at least get them exchanged and haven't been able to get through to anyone yet. read more

If you don't like Burts or other large motorcycle dealerships for maintenance and repair services, you should check this place out. They won't do more than needed for repairs or maintenance work, if you follow me. I took my bike in for a tune up and they only changed what was needed. Dealers don't do that, they change things, i.e., spark plugs even if they don't need changing and charge you for them. My tune-up for my 2003 VFR, cost around $230. That $230 was labor and parts. Burts gave me an estimate of $300 plus parts and tax. They do sell tires, but I had them put one on that I bought somewhere else. They only charged $35 +tax, that was for the front wheel. Here's the bad; they sometimes don't pick up the phone. You've got to go there and talk to them. So if you don't mind those things, I think it's a good place to take your bike. read more

The service is just ok sometimes bad, sometimes overpriced for something so simple to be repair. They take forever to fix something cause only like mechanic. I went in for a repair on my bike and to replace my flat tire to get it rideable. 4 months later got my quad back with the same old tire that I had just patched it and kept my brand new tire. And my bike is still not rideable talking about I need to get something else fixed. Wtf I went in wanting everything fixed so I can ride it and I can't even ride it. So I gotta take it somewhere else to get fixed. Never going back here again. Take pictures and videos of your bike before dropping it off cause they might swop out some items with another like changing the batteries I payed way over priced for something that I didn't even get done to what I wanted read more

My bike was there for about a month, couldn't figure out the problem. I suggested what can be the problem (knowledge from forums related to my bike) they said it was the main computer. Paid $80 for that info, turns out I was correct. Had another mechanic from a meet up group figure and fixed the problem in one hour. read more

I needed to get my chains replaced and it too them 3 weeks after quoting me a week... I got the bike back and I'm missing 4 screws on my bike and it's extremely dusty. I used to come here and had many many bad experiences. Please don't come here. Find another shop! read more

Love this place I've gotten my scooter fixed here and what's great about this place is that they are willing to help school students with a mini part time job. To teach how to fix and to manage the front of the store. Rene is the big cheese of this place and is a pro on what he does. Jeannette is famous for her knowledge and her get things done attitude. Its a famipy base home which I'm happy to see cause nothing is stronger then family. Keep on doing what you guys do best I hope to see more pop up soon around the state hopefully. read more

We took a ATV to get it fixed. It was there for 3 months and sometimes I will passed by the shop I could see the ATV just sitting there. When I whent to check on the repair the atv was not ready and I dicided to take it home. It was missing several parts. I took my 87 1100 shadow in to have the transmission fixed. Renee had to pull the whole motor apart on that bike to do the job due to the fact that the trans and the motor are not seperate. That was in 05, Shortly after I rode the bike to Yllowstone with a bunch of buddies on Harleys and Vulcans. All newer than my bike. I was faster and had no problems with my bike at all. I am still riding that bike . Yes it took some time to get the job done but you have to remember a lot of the time is spent looking for and wauiting on parts. Need a motor built to compete in the supercross series or maybe the world jetski finals? Not the place. Want to know why your toy won't start or is not acting right. This is the place. A real motorcycle shop, the way it used to be. Honest work, at an honest price. I work on my own bikes and skis but if the job requires some special tool or just don't feel like doing it, I know Renee will take care of it. It is true that they are hard to get a hold of by phone and if you go there you will see why; they take care of each customer to the extreme. Don't think you are going to just drop in, get something and be on your way. Be prepared to wait. But when it's your turn you will get the same service. If you can handle those quirks and don't want that feeling in your rearend you get when you leave a stealership, then give them a try. read more

I took my Seadoo to get serviced here for the first time. It seemed to be working fine and so I took it out to Laughlin and found my stranded in the middle of the lake. I brought it home took it back to the shop and they said it could be my gas cable and they wanted more money to diagnose after they had just services and should of checked that. I ended up calling Mobile Motorsport Service who does 24 hour service. He checked my Seadoo and found two spark plugs that were in the intake were the carburetor goes, he also found several loose screws. I went back to Cycle Barn and they of course denied any wrong doing and would cooperate with me. I would most definitely NOT recommend any one to this place. Be cautious if you decide to go there anyway. read more
