This place did a job on my son's quad and Anthony took the engine to get welded because it had a crack. And without notifying me of this after it was done. Now after spending over 7k on this rebuild job, it leaks oil from the weld and he will not stand behind what he took upon himself to have fixed and make it right. His reviews are all based on from when you pick up your bike he pressures you to give him a review before trying out what he fixed. I'm not sure why my review was removed, but I felt like I needed to repost it for the good of the rest of this guy's customers. This guy is not an honest person at all. I had a terrible experience with him where he charged me nearly $4000 to fix a ninja 250 including 1650 for an carb cleaning alone. I would have taken it to another shop but once he got a hold of my Bike, he told me that the diagnosis alone was going to cost me $600 if I did not want to get the work done by him. I lost that bike when my engine nearly blew up. Someone had tampered with the oil. It ended up ruled as vandalism and there was an investigation. When the mechanic opened it, he saw that there was sealant all over the engine. Even if it hadn't been vandalized, he said it wouldn't have lasted more than a few months anyway and it could have killed me. I went ahead and told this to this Anthony and sent pictures. he completely denied it. He said that it must've been me lol even though I just bought the bike and did not even know how to ride it yet. It was my first motorcycle and he completely took advantage of me because I had stated that I would do anything just to get it running. He took that to heart and he charged me double or even more the worth of the Bike. This is the one of the worst mechanics I've ever gone to. Since that experience, I have had multiple motorcycles and I've had to take them to the shop multiple times and I have never once had an experience like this one. This man is one of the worst mechanics I've ever met. On top of that he does not keep regular business hours so you can never get a hold of him. He's extremely shady and he works completely alone so he has nobody there to oversee his work or make sure he's not totally ripping people off. I highly suggest you take your bike somewhere else because this man is not a good mechanic at all. I'm going to post my review up with my receipt just to show that I am indeed and customer of this man and to show exactly what he charged me and for what. I have included my receipt to verify that I am in, indeed, a customer of his, and if the review is once again taken down I'll be happy to put it right back up. He's also extremely confrontational and cannot stand when someone gives him an honest criticism. Not trustworthy and also aggressive is not a good combination. Paid this guy $350 to check out a bike before purchasing. Anthony told me he'll hook me up to check out another bike no charge because the first bike didn't work out and he said he would take care of me. He quoted me 10k for the bike build which I accepted. When I called him to check out another bike, all of a sudden he goes back on his word and wants to charge me another $350 to spec the second bike. What was promised in person is not being delivered. I was hesitant at first to give him the money because anyone who runs business that way is a little sketchy but since my friend had used him I figured "ah what the heck." little did I know I would be in for a rude awaking. 1st week goes by (September 26th) and I get 0 response from Anthony. I figured since it had been a week I would contact him to just see how things were going. He messaged me back right away and told me he was sick and had yet to get to the bike, but he would get to it by the following Wednesday. Mind you the following Wednesday will be over 2 weeks since i dropped the bike off. I was cool about everything and told him no worries. 2nd week goes by (October 4th) 0 response from Anthony on my bike. Finally Friday October 6th I contact Anthony about my bike. He immediately calls and says he still has yet to look at my bike.. and that he cant get to it today because he's so backed up. He said he would offer me a refund on my 450$ if he doesn't get to it by the following day, which didn't really make sense but i just said okay. I am a very reasonable guy so I just told Anthony that if he didn't let me know by Saturday ill just come get my bike. HERE IS WHERE THE FUN BEGINS. Anthony @ 11:32 pm on October 6th sends me an Invoice as seen below, for 3,500$ for essentially 2-3 hours max of work. He's is charging me 2,550$ in labor to replace the top end on my dirt bike. Mind you, I brought the bike torn down already, and I brought him all the parts too. All he essentially needs todo is put it all back together. The 950$ for a carb cleaning was egregious as well. When I tell Anthony I don't want to proceed, I also mention to him how I felt ripped off in the process because he held my bike for 3 weeks, tells me he doesn't think he will get to it and then gives me some rushed bullshit estimate that is EXTREMELY OVER PRICED. In which Anthony Calls me immediately, and beings to PRESS AND VERBALLY ASSAULT ME ON THE PHONE because i feel ripped off. He countlessly drops the F word, calling me cheap and that I cant afford his work. That he does the best work and theres nobody else that does it like him, and thats why he prices his stuff the way he does. He also proceeds to tell me his happy I got nothing out of my 450$. He kept telling me that I knew what I was getting myself into, but 450$ for him todo absolutely nothing to my bike is wild. He claims its for the diagnostic but I came in already with the parts for him to put back together! He is just a con artist that overcharges for his work so he has to do a bullshit fake "450 deposit" because he knows nobody will go through with his quotes, therefore he makes some money for his crummy business. If this is how he always does business I have 0 clue how his shop is still running. I guess pocketing 450$ for 10 minutes of work would help anyone stay afloat. My moral of all this is it's my fault for trusting someone like him. I made the mistake of letting him swindle me but I'm leaving this lengthy review to save any future riders out there from making the same mistake. Once in a while you walk into a small business and you think to yourself, "Man, this is so rare nowadays" so rare to find a business run with integrity, moral values and willingness to help. My experience with Anthony (business owner) was remarkable from my initial conversation over the phone with him to later showing up at his shop. I reached out to Ruthless Kustomz in an effort to dial in my KTM 350 EXC-F's suspension. I am relatively new to the off-road motorcycle scene and Anthony took the time to hold me by the hand and walk me though all aspects of the process. This man answered all of my questions, silly and not so silly and Anthony didn't make me feel like an idiot, rather, he encouraged questions and treated my like any other client. During my interaction with Anthony, I noticed he was extremely passionate about his work, he gave me a tour of his place and showed me his work stations which were immaculately organized and kept squeaky clean. He was proud of his tool collection and it showed. His shop has the ability to do most, if not all jobs that require the most challenging mechanical skills, This is facilitated by the vast selection of equipment sprawled throughout his workplace. After Anthony's assessment of my motorcycle he provided an estimate. The estimate Anthony handed me was in line with what I was willing to pay. Prior to arriving to Ruthless, I already knew Anthony was not the most economical based on other reviewers and word of mouth and I was ok with that going into it. In business, reputation is EVERYTHING. Great and honest work is HARD to find and so I made my decision to give Anthony the work. Anthony helped unload the bike from the bed of my truck and as we began to roll the bike into his garage he looked over at me and said "I feel like you can do this yourself and save your cash man". It should be noted, the estimated amount was in the 4 digits and something I had no confidence doing. Anthony had no problem explaining the process and he even told me which bolts to remove first etc... Long story short, Anthony helped push my bike back up in to the bed of my truck and off I went. I think the Yelp algorithm could use some work because 2/5 stars means "could use some work", but looks worse than what it means. I see everyone going back and forth on here, I went in with a 05' CBR1k, paid the $500 inspection fee (very steep), I get the whole "service isn't cheap, cheap service isn't good", but let's not over estimate our services either here. Got quoted over $4k I think it was for a $3k bike, at that point, you guys might as well buy another bike (which is what I did) as opposed to paying $7k, because after everything that went on with the photos and all that jazz that the shop inspects, it's pretty much just replacing any and all rings and anything that has ANY wear and tear inside your motorcycle so even if it's still got plenty of life, the shop will replace it, which is very costly for parts that are still is decent condition. All in all, expect to pay over $5k for anything you do with this shop, and if that's okay with you, go for it, if not, just let Anthony know you'd rather take your bike elsewhere and he'll piece it back together and you go your separate ways. Constructive criticism for the shop however; there are ebbs and flows to a business, after constant complaints about pricing, why not give the people what they want with decreasing prices (not cheap cheap) to capture more of the market resulting in more sales, new customers, and even loyalty customers. just a thought since I see a pattern in the review section that is some low hanging fruit that could help the business thrive. read more

Let me just start off by saying that this shop is hands down exactly where you should take your bike if you really care about it, don't even hesitate. Bought an older model Honda Elite that I had been hunting down for some time, via OfferUp. Long story short she cranked for a test and rode fine, but in transit refused to start back up after stopping for air. I knew off the bat I would not have the time, patience, energy, knowledge or experience to get this thing running how I wanted as soon as possible, and being as excited as I was having found one in such good condition to begin with I quickly searched Apple Maps to find a nearby shop with good reviews. As fate would have it Ruthless Kustomz stood out instantly, boasting a perfect 5 star rating, so I called to see what they could do for me. The owner, Anthony, answered on the first dial, heard me out, explained his rates to me, and reassured me that if I decided to move forward, I'd be back on the road in no time at all. Upon arriving to his shop I was blown away at how many bikes were actually being worked on and the range of the types of bikes in there, everything from my little 50cc to ATVs, dirt bikes, customs, and even a Ducati! Not that any particular bike stood out more than the other but it was clear to me that many people trust and value the workmanship of the guys at Ruthless Kustoms, and that made me feel really good about having chosen to take my little scooter there, because I knew she'd return to me in the best shape possible. Mario, who was there to receive me and my bike when I got there, was also the one who worked on it and then showed me start to finish on the shop tablet exactly what he did every step of the way. I have to go out of my way to really emphasize how well Mario explained the process, I really don't think I've had such an involved and articulate explanation of any kind of repairs or maintenance on any vehicle I've ever owned. I really felt like I gained a bit of knowledge and an overall better understanding of my bike from our conversation. Before and after pics show that basically many components were cleaned within the fuel system and carburetor with a couple of minor parts replaced. This review is long overdue but I was reminded of Anthony's services after a recent conversation with him. I brought my Triumph Bonneville Bobber to him to install a handful of parts (e.g., an exhaust, engine cover, etc.) and he overdelivered. The bike was missing a few components (from a parking lot hit-and-run) and he took it upon himself to service those parts on his own dime. On top of that, he made sure that the bike's fluids were topped off before I picked it up. In the end, the bike was in pristine condition. His services cost $ and should be expected because he is one of the best - if not the best in the area. If you have a problem with your bike(s), Ruthless Kustomz is the place for the solution.
