We ended up eating here because it's so close to the aquarium and world of Coca Cola. The food was typical gastro-pub type. I was completely impressed with anything on the menu but I was disappointed either? It was okay. I wouldn't com back to Atlanta just to eat here, but it is in a convenient location. We got the wings (good), the hummus (okay honestly) and the nachos (real cheese, not the nacho cheese). I got the dirty bird sandwich and I liked it but the chicken was a tad bit dry. read more

Stats is a great sports bar. Healthy food, great beer selection and a super photogenic mural on the side. I ordered the beet salad. Golden Beets, pistachios, arugula and lemon vinaigrette = yum. It's hard to find veggies in ATL and Stats offers several delicious variations. I recommend it for sports fans, carnivores, omnivores, vegans, and vegetarians alike. The raspberry sour which is seasonal is also a cant miss. read more

Visited the downtown ATL with family and came across this gem. Pub chips were fresh and crazy crisp, the bbq brisket burger was juicy and seasoned well. The fries were crisp and soft in the center. My wife had the dirty bird. Crisp chicken with a spicy zing accompanied with a coleslaw backbone all on a soft bun. Delicious. Good in house brews. I had the Atlanta Brewnited pale ale and my wife had the Peach seasonal. Both were very good and I had to have a second pint. The only thing missing from a 5 star review was a long weight time from the kitchen. I would still recommend! read more

Food was delicious, great drink selection, and friendly staff! This place was very comfortable and we ended up staying a long while. Tried several of the appetizers and the brisket burger was amazing! Looking forward to trying some more of their items my next trip out! read more

Came in with a friend on Memorial Day (it was Monday or Sunday can't remember )and the place seemed pretty empty. We kept passing it all weekend so we thought we would give it a try. Our waitress was just ok... didn't really recommend much. My friend asked if she could get a strawberry margarita and the waitress didn't know if they even made them. I wanted to try their crab dip but apparently it wasn't being offered that day because they were catering an event or something which was annoying because that's all I came to try. So I ordered steak and it just came with one side no veggie which I thought was strange. The steak was just ok and my friend ordered nachos and she didn't really like those either. A blonde woman comes out with medium length hair and I overhear her apologize to the table in front of us because the ac was broken and offered to move them somewhere cooler. The table declined she walks PAST us with a lingering hi and goes to the table next to us and offered to move them as well. Um ok?? Did we not look hot? Why just ignore our table? I have my thoughts.... Won't be going back. read more

My parents were in town visiting. After we went to the Georgia Aquarium, we walked to Stats (which I found using Yelp). Immediately walking in, the hostess suggested the rooftop bar. We selected our table upstairs right in the middle, in front of the TV's but also with a view of the lights on either side. Plenty of TV's available for different sporting events. Not a huge beer selection, but good enough for me. We weren't starving so we stuck with a couple staple items: nachos, tacos, and BBQ. The nachos were amazing. I'd get them again in a heart beat. I had plenty for leftovers. The atmosphere was amazing. Although it's July, and super hot, there's fans all around the rooftop. This is a great place to watch a game or catch up with friends. read more

So me and the girls headed out for the night, starting with dinner at none other than Stats. I had never been here, but had heard good things about it from my friends that I was with, so I thought I'd give it a go. It's a great idea for a restaurant, but I'm just not so sure I liked it all that much. I expected something more "sporty", like the ESPN Zone or Fox Sports, I mean I guess that's the look they were going for "different from your typical sports spot", but I personally wasn't quite feeling the atmosphere. However I will give them props on the food, for the pricing, and the portions, they were both convenient and sufficient. My friend had the ribs, and was surpised that the half rack alone with a side of mac and cheese was enough to suffice her hungry stomach. I had the BBQ pull pork sandwich and had pork overflowing from the bun, it was goodness for my southern style appetite that night. Another negative was the service. Our waiter was absolutely NON-existent. I don't know if it was because he figured we were some "cheap ass" college students (since we do look so young), or what, but he paid us no attention, didn't give us the time of day when we were trying to ask him questions about the menu, and order. I was not happy with that at all. And I must agree with Andre regarding the bathrooms they were definitely a super neat concept. I would have given the place two stars, due to the atmosphere and the service, but they got a +1 for the food. It was a fun night due to the crowd I was with, but definitely don't see myself coming here during football season to catch the game, it might be too "upscale" for my taste, I like to hear some hootin' and hollerin' and cheerin' for teams when I watch a game....... read more

Not a good experience. I was dining alone, so I just grabbed a seat at the bar. I was greeted fairly promptly, but then waited forever for someone to take my order. By the time the bartender took my order, I had already decided what I wanted to eat. So I ordered a turkey club and a beer. Got the beer. Fine. The sandwich came out fairly quickly. Fine. But I had no silverware, and needed another drink. I couldn't get the bartender's attention to save my life, so I just ate. Finished eating, still had no silverware and still had an empty glass sitting in front of me. I finally flagged the bartender down, paid my bill, and got the heck out of there. The bar was busy, but I have been to far busier places that were much more efficiently run. And the worst part of all is the fact that there was a manager working behind the bar, and all he was doing was pouring drinks for servers. I will definitely not be returning to this place. read more

Hmm. . . a sports bar that doesn't look or feel like a sports bar? How does one pull that off? Apparently Stats got the memo, and they interpret giving just enough flavor create a hybrid sporty-upscale place. Flat screen TVs, a over-sized stock ticker, waitstaff in track jackets all add some sporty spice. Otherwise, its quite the opposite of a 'dive sports bar' - think modern loungy seats, pristine trendy bar stools and dark woods. One of the main attractions is the 'personal tap' tables - you have to have a minimum of six people seated at your table (a useful rule, because it can also give you a good excuse to go hit on the cuties at the bar, using the minimum as an excuse) for them to turn the taps on. Each table has a combo of two different taps - so cross your fingers you get seated at one that you like. As a cautionary, the taps cut off at a certain number of ounces, so the waitstaff can make sure no one at your table is falling down drunk. A bit of a buzzkill to wait for the taps to be turned back on, but a good chance to escape to check out the bathrooms that Eric S talks about. The overall vibe is cool, and the menu definitely has some interesting interpretations - we got the cheese fondue, and the array included sausage, apples, giant croutons, and broccolini? Definitely a twist on your run of the mill fondue. Also on the menu are things like a Thai steak salad, nachos that could feed a small army, and (interestingly), 'Southern hummus,' a.k.a. pimento cheese. Park in the deck across the street, and they will validate your parking - you have to pay $5, but then you'll be refunded when you bring your validated ticket back out. Thank goodness they can keep their sports bar status in my book - the staple of wings made the menu - the quintessential item of choice for any self respecting sports bar. read more

We were sat within 15 minutes, and the place was relatively empty. Even with full staff, it took over an hour to start to receive our food after ordering. The food came out sporadically, with the last person receiving their food an entire forty-five minutes after the first. The furniture is falling apart and some people had to switch chairs because of nails poking through the cushions... Food was average. We liked the "Dirty Bird" and the coleslaw. read more

The newest spot by Concentrics Group (One, Two, Trios, Tap, etc)., Stats is a sports bar with a refined edge. Located close to Philips Arena and The Dome, Stats serves fancied-up versions of American classics like fried chicken and open face turkey perfect for pre-gamers who want a more unique experience than previously available in this area. The atmosphere is comfy but posh, with leather booths and low lighting. Unique to this spot are the Table Taps - high top tables with built-in, self-serve taps that keep track of how much you pour. Flat panel TVs line the walls and game scores scroll below to keep you up to date on all your teams. Stats also offers multiple room options for private parties. The menu offers variety in a reasonable price range, with a full range of starters, entrees and delicious desserts. The drink selection is vast- with a variety of beers, wines and mixed drinks. While the specialty drinks will run you $9 a glass, the beer prices are on-point. Recommended: Mexican Butter, Open-Face Turkey Sandwich (like Thanksgiving on a plate) read more

Looking for somewhere close to State farn arena that would be a fun concert pregame and dinner. We got a shitty Applebee's. The chicken fingers, fries and spinach and artichoke dip all sucked. Chips were stale, dip looked kind of like microwaved vomit. The beers only come in short glasses and they are understaffed (although everyone is tbf). Zero fun atmosphere, no music, generic money pit all the way around. read more

Stats is a great sports bar option close to Philips Arena - outdoor seating available, too ... I think they call it "rooftop" seating but I don't believe you're high enough to get any good view of the Atlanta cityscape :) We hung out downstairs for a private event so missed out on all the crazy NCAA action upstairs. Space was nice with bar, sofas, and cafe tables. Also two big screen TVs so folks more interested in the game (vs. networking) didn't have to miss out too much :) Also liked that it wasn't too loud so we could hear each other. Servers & bartenders were great. Food was pretty good, too. Free apps for our event included buffalo wings, celery & blue cheese, tortilla chips, & hot bean dip. Menu looked good, too - I asked server for his favorites: Shrimp Quesadilla, Hot Corned Beef Reuben, Ballpark Burger, Caesar Salad, & Stats Fork Chili. After eating all those wings & chips, I decided to go "healthy" and get the Caesar Salad - happy with my choice. Huge bowl of salad for just $7. Parking is available across the street in the big parking garage - free for up to 3 hrs if you spend $10 @ Stats - otherwise parking is $10. read more

Three stars for a great place to share a drink with a few friends. Do you like beer?! Enjoy the beer garden with your friends and frenemies! I came for the wings and I left fairly disappointed. I so wanted to indulge in some of Atlanta's best BBQ, so I ordered the hot wings, and my friend ordered the kung fu wings. Both entrees were flavored well enough, but the wings were fairly dry and not especially meaty. It was extremely underwhelming. The worst part was the service. When we arrived it was kinda slow and our waiter wasn't great.. But he wasn't bad. Once it got busy we were left waiting for quite some time. It took 20 minutes to get our check after we asked. We almost forgot we had a waiter. That being said, the hostess was extremely nice. Also, the specialty cocktails we ordered were delicious. Overpriced? Yes. Alcoholic? Mildly. read more

From what this restaurant claims on their website, I was led to believe I would experience a premier sports bar experience, but after visiting this restaurant for dinner, I came to the conclusion that I can get a much better sports bar experience at many sports bars in the suburbs or even at some other downtown Atlanta locations I have been to. They advertise five bars on their website, but when I went on a Sunday evening I only found one bar, and all the seats were taken. The upstairs was reserved for a private event and the lower level was closed. I asked about sitting at some high tables around the bar but were told they were reserved. I therefore had to get a seat in the main dining area (not around the bar). There were several screens around. One near me was playing a basketball game, but it switched to local news shortly after. I thought this was a sports bar. I think the channel was just set to the local CBS affiliate and they didn't change it when the news came on. The other screens were all playing the same game, except for one that had a hockey game. For a diner in the main restaurant, therefore, there is not much variety of viewing experiences. There was no audio playing from any game. I didn't see that the food or drink redeemed the restaurant much. I had the dirty bird sandwich, which I have no complaints about, but there was nothing exceptional about it compared to other similar chicken sandwiches I have had elsewhere. It had a fairly large deep fried chicken breast with a very crunchy breading on it. For a side, there are a few choices other than fries, and I asked for the orzo salad, which is a cold type of rice salad that was a little on the creamy side. A big disappointment, though, was the beer selection. There weren't any craft beers of note in their menu. The highlights were Terrapin Hopsecutioner, Goose Island IPA, and Sweetwater 420. The remainder of the draft beer options were standard beers like Bud Light. There were not any unusual or out of the ordinary craft beers as I have ordered at many other sports bars (or if there were, they were not posted on the menu or disclosed by the server). They advertise taps at the table, but I didn't see many tables with this option. I noticed that the table near me with taps had a bud light tap and a shock top tap, neither of which is a beer I would want. The taps on the table seems to me a little bit of a gimmick -- who needs it if you have prompt service in refilling your pints? read more

I've ventured out to Stats many times downtown, always for work functions. This marks my 5th trip here. It's a semi easy walk from the Dome, Philips Arena, CNN Center, College Football Hall of Fame or Ga Aquarium. It's not necessarily a place I'd take my son but it doesn't seem non kid-friendly. The atmosphere here is really cool and the music on this occasion was 80s (that's a plus). With the tvs going, surprised they had music playing since this is a sports bar. This bar is a few steps above your typical sports bars, thanks to the metered beer taps on the tables (no need to ask for a refill). They do have a bonus room downstairs that my company has rented out before (pool table, darts) but not sure if it's still there. Pardon me for not checking again. We sat down and got queso dip for the appetizer. The queso was great but the chips were semi greasy and the salsa was not anything spectacular. My food, Jorge's Nachos, was massive. For the price, you get a ton! However, I was not thrilled with the taste. Lackluster and average for nachos. Our service was stellar, especially for a group of 15. Can't say I've had bad service yet here so that's a huge plus. Parking is tricky, as you will have to utilize the parking deck across the street and I don't think they validate since this is smack downtown. Overall, great place for beer and atmosphere but the food isn't the greatest. In fact, I've yet to come on my own outside of work. read more

Sports bar meets a trendy restaurant. A fun place to hang out for any crowd. Whether you are having a boys/girls night out or wanna watch a game while enjoying good food then this is surely your place to be. The service is efficient and the servers were very friendly. The menu has a lot of options, and that's where it's more than just a sports bar. They do have friend chicken but they surely add a twist to the southern favorite. It's the Dirtybird sandwich, friend chicken coated with spicy and flavorful crust. The portion sizes are quite adequate so leaving hungry isn't a possibility. They have lots of salad options. As for another entree recommendation, do try the Trophy Chicken; it's grilled chicken with sweet & tangy sauce. They have a full bar along with a nice wine list. The bar is the main highlight with countless tv screens showcasing different games. They also have Tvs around the dining area so if you don't wanna be close to the bar yet want to enjoy your game you surely can. Back to the food; for the side options I tried the Orzo salad, the French fries and the sweet potato fries, but I have to say the French fries were the best. Though if you are trying to eat healthy the orzo cold salad is quite scrumptious as well. The place is perfect for work lunch as its close to downtown area but yet a bit further from the crazy traffic. Parking is right across and they validate. read more

This has to be the most over rated sports bar in Atlanta. Why? Because you're paying for name and location vs quality. This place is good to pre-game before Hawks and Thrashers games. If there is a big fight, they will charge a cover. Not mad at that, try to get the most revenue in a tight economy but true sports bars don't charge for covers. Food - it's decent, nothing to slap your momma over Crowd - mostly white collar, a good amount of tourists, but it isn't rowdy like a typical sports bar is Service - Average It's popular due to location, 790 the Zone broadcasts and that about it. We were looking to catch a Sunday afternoon football game and arrived around 5:30pm with no issues getting a table. Our waitress was friendly but a tad slow. The place was generally warm inside which made us not want to stay that long. As for the drinks, I enjoyed the Technical Foul and the Double Play. Nice atmosphere and the food was decent. We chose this place bc the online menu stated "GF options available"...what that really meant was "we can lettuce wrap your burger and give your tortilla chips with your appetizer, oh and we have salads without the croutons". We had a corporate event here last night. At first I wasn't thrilled with the idea of dinner at a bar. I was hungry and wanted to be able to sit down and eat a full meal and have a conversation. But when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting bar food appetizers - nachos, wings... maybe a taco bar. And that is what the food was, but it also felt like a complete meal. There was taco bar; complete with tortillas, chips, queso sauce, white rice/ beans, chicken, steak and misc toppings. There was also a separate section with a baked potato bar, shrimp fajitas and chicken fajitas. And a tray of desserts, including cookies, brownies, pecan pie and assorted cheesecakes. Being a vegetarian, I was happy to find beans, rice and baked potato. Food was great. Only down side, there was a piece of meat on my plate. I have high hopes it sneaked in on accident and the beans were not cooked in it. Because we had several vegetarians eating it... =( There was a lounge area upstairs. And we managed to get the one taller table upstairs, so eating wasn't awkward. This was our 2nd stop of the night, after a less than stellar start. 1st... great interior... lots of energy... tons of big tvs.... a variety of places to hang out... Good and attentive service. Comfortable seating. I would say this is a good place to come out, watch a game and indulge on some sports bar food. The food... Long story short - here's the key -- order bar food. Order Nachos, chips and salsa, burgers, but DO NOT be tempted by the really ambitious menu. I'll explain. I am a HUGE fan of tuna... they offered Tuna Tataki, ordinarily a easy to prepare, very fine meal. Only one thing is required: High Quality Tuna. My Tataki was ICE COLD. No problem, I like raw tuna. Problem: this had been frozen. I could tell because of the texture and wetness of the cold fish. Just skip it. The tuna was presented on a salad, but the salad was just drenched in dressing... Charlie decided to go for the cheesesteak... and he was equally disappointed. The meat, he said was stringy and really fatty. Skip that one too. Charlie also has the Tomato Basil soup, and gave it props. Our basket of chips salsa and guac were good (though it strangely had massive chunks of avocado... something lacking in the preparation there). Larry had the nachos, and they were quite good. I say order bar food because seriously, how can you screw up nachos? It's a sports bar. Order them. Get a burger. Watch a game... Dont do what I did.
