The pot roast is out of this world! Melts in your mouth, great flavor. Their humus is outstanding as well. I had the Shooter beer and it was amazing too. Service was good. Food arrived fast. Definitely worth your time and money! read more

Nice brewery/restaurant in Atlanta. They have a great beer in house (really good IPA called the buck wood). I ordered the dirty bird sandwhich which was super good. The vibe is fun and has a good amount of tvs to watch a game if you want or lots of room and tables for more group space. read more

Was feeling hungry late and Stats was able to seat us at 9:37pm. We just had wings and nachos and a drink but they got them out in less than 8 minutes and we had plenty of time to eat before they closed at 10:00pm. All the staff that waited on us was extremely polite and delightful as well. Will definitely go back when I have more time. read more

Expected an overpriced downtown tourist trap. Was pleasantly surprised to find great service, good beer brewed on premise, great bar food. Burger and chicken sandwich was awesome. Taps built into your table. Loud customer on a cell phone, handled with grace by management. Meredith is a top notch server. The whole family enjoyed our meal. Thank you Stats! read more

It was a very okay experience. We went after a Hawks game and it was surprisingly not busy. They brew their own beers here. We got a pilsner and a sour. The beers were decent but not the best. We ordered the nachos to start with. Again, kind of just okay nachos. Our server tried to take away our nachos when there was a considerable amount left. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. It came with a lot of fries, but not freshly fried fries! They were a bit warm. My SO got the burger. The server looked at him like he needed to say more after ordering. So he said, medium rare. But turns out they're thin patties and are cooked well. Everything was just okay. Good location though! read more

NFL football Sunday with the Falcons v Eagles for the night game. Eagles fans were obnoxious but the servers here are hustling. So far we have had the Nachos and veggie platter. Nachos had a home made chili with chunks of beef, lots of beans, maybe a bit more sour cream needed. The veggies are heirloom and super tasty. read more

I came here on a Friday night. I wanted to go to the pizza place next door but it was packed and the waiter suggested I go here instead. I was alone and was seated quickly, but it took over 15 minutes for someone to even come and ask if I wanted a drink. After that, the server was very sweet. The food smelled amazing. I ordered the BBQ Brisket Burger. It was filling and tasty enough but nothing overly special. Food was affordable. Atmosphere was eh, the decor seemed high end but I didn't get that vibe once inside. It felt like just another sports bar. read more

We were looking for a late dinner after the aquarium and it seemed everywhere closed at 8 (it's a Thursday night). We had our 3 kids with us, but we all really enjoyed our food. They had great ranch, the appetizer of everything pretzels with beer cheese was a hit for all. The Dirty Bird was large enough I split it with my son. We all enjoyed the fries. Drinks were a little pricey, but I enjoyed the Greens in Regulation. Wait was 45 minutes but we found immediate seating at a high top. I'd go back! read more

Horrible. We were the only ones at the bar waiting for food and drinks. We were completely ignored the whole time. The bartender would purposely go to everyone else besides us and we had just sat down. Maybe it was a bad night but we had a horrible experience. read more

I revisited STATS last night for the Georgia Tech men's basketball tip-off event. This was a meet and greet with the 2011-12 men's basketball team, new head coach Brian Gregory, and former Yellow Jacket players (Duane Ferrell, James Forrest, Drew Barry, and Matt Harpring). The event was held around the bar on the ground level. Afterwards, my friend and I stayed for dinner and the Brian Gregory radio show. STATS will be the home of the Brian Gregory Call-In Show for the remainder of the season. There are 10 shows remaining. You can check out the schedule here: http://www.ramblinwreck.com/multimedia/geot-gregory-call-in.html. The radio show takes place inside the "Kia Motors Studio" where 790 The Zone also occasionally broadcasts from. Attendance to the Brian Gregory Call-In Show is free. While I'm on the topic of the radio show, I'd like to compare it to the Paul Johnson (Tech's football coach) radio show, which takes place at Hudson Grille in Midtown. The Paul Johnson radio show has much better attendance, I think mainly for two reasons: (1) CPJ and Tech football are more popular and (2) Hudson Grille Midtown is a better location than STATS. As for the radio show productions themselves, Hudson Grille does a better job because the sound of Wes Durham (the host) and Paul Johnson over the mics are fed directly into Hudson Grille's sound system. At STATS, even though they are using the same equipment that 790 uses, the audio is out-of-sync and it is annoying. There is a delay in what is being said live and what is heard over the speakers at STATS. Many times, I had to look away from Wes and Coach Gregory just so I could focus on the audio and try to decipher what was being said. Also, at Hudson Grille, it's easy to listen to what Wes and CPJ are saying. The audio is loud and clear. At STATS, the bar is so loud that it's hard to hear what Wes and Coach Gregory are saying. I think I actually listened to maybe 25% of last night's broadcast. I'm sad to say that it's better to just listen at home to the Brian Gregory show than to attend in person. As for the bar and restaurant itself, I still think STATS is one of the coolest sports bars around. Multiple levels and rooms with tons of TVs, fancier decor than the typical sports bar, beer taps at some of the tables, and a rooftop terrace with fire pit. Coincidentally last night, the big wigs with the Chick-fil-A Bowl were conducting a meeting in one of the rooms upstairs to discuss which ACC and SEC teams they were going to select for this year's game. Food-wise, STATS' menu is simple with traditional bar food (soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, etc.). The food is a tad pricey (e.g. a cheeseburger is $10), but you're also downtown and paying for all the great sports viewing. I tried the guacamole starter ($9) and the tuna tataki salad ($13). The guac was thick and fresh. It had several big chunks of avocado in it. The salsa was mild and a little bit runny. When we started running out of tortilla chips, a server came by our table with a bowl of chips and refilled our plate. Nice. The tuna tataki salad was big and came with six large slices of raw tuna. The fish was tender and not bad. There was more than enough lettuce in the salad. Sheldon was our server and he did a very good job. Parking is validated by STATS for up to 3 hours with minimum purchase. I don't know what the min. purchase amount is, but it can't be more than $10 or $20 (easy to hit with their prices). The parking deck for STATS is right across the street. This is the same parking deck the restaurants next door (Max's Coal Oven Pizzeria and Rise Sushi) use too. It's clean, well-lit, and relatively new. Remember to take your parking ticket with you so you can pay at the machine on your way back to your car. read more

Still waiting for food. It's been close to an hour. I don't know what's going on, but I would not come here.

I had a great time, as always. The food is good, the drinks are great. However, one issue that stuck out to me was the management. I've worked in the industry for ten years now, and I have never, in my life, seen a manager talk to their staff the way I saw the manager tonight. I was sitting at the bar and the manager treated her bartender like she was incompetent. I understand correcting mistakes, but yelling at your staff during a shift, in front of guests, is beyond inexcusable. I hope this isn't a reflection of how management views their staff or treats them on a daily basis. read more

Pretty cool sports bar, and judging by its location and media presence a rather prominent one. When you see a radio station set up during the NFL playoffs it's gotta be the real deal. OK well maybe it's not. But it's good enough. I can first say it's a good place for sports watching itself. There are TVs absolutely everywhere and can be viewed from any angle. Volume is adequately loud. The beer selection is also not too bad as well. I tried the red ale, which was incredibly bitter and hoppy--more like a red IPA. The actual IPA was fruity and mellow and not like an IPA at all. I didn't dislike these beers; one was OK and the other great, but wow do they have a unique approach. I wasn't really hankering for anything on the menu, so I snacked on a pretzel. It was the saltiest and greasiest pretzel I have ever had at any bar, but once I got past that it was OK. Overall I think it's a safe option to watch a Hawks game or something, but I wouldn't go out of my way recommending it. read more

While visiting Atlanta I was walking my way to the stadium and noticed Stats. On the corner it was still early before game time so I stepped inside and had a few drinks before the game. It's a good sports bar. Tvs all around big TVs on the sides. And a lot of beers on tap. There was a cocktail list. The drinks were priced a little high. I didn't have the food but I seen some dishes and looked pretty good. Typical bar food. Wings burgers. Sandwiches. It was a decent spot to watch a game. The service was the best part she was attentive and always around for ur order. And it was a busy Sunday funday of football. read more

Terrible service. Ordered appetizer and it never came. Entrees took over 45 minutes. Table next to us(who sat after we ordered)ordered, received, and consumed their food before we were told, "sorry for the delay, but the kitchen is backed up". Very disorganized and clearly no systems in place to ensure efficient, orderly prep and delivery of food. Would not recommend. read more

This was my second visit to Stats (the first time was years ago) and I was told they recently became a brewery. I'm not sure if they're still going through the transition but the decor needs to be updated and there was a weird, off putting smell as we walked to our table. Our waitress was nice and went over the best sellers on the menu. I chose the dirty bird which was really tasty. The chicken was fried well and juicy although the breading was falling off and the combination of the vinegar slaw and spicy mayo was such a tasty contrast. The fries were seasoned really well too. Overall, it was okay but not a place I'd choose in less I just happened to be in the area. read more

It's your typical bar food - it's decent. Nothing to crave or rave about but good enough to have for a quick bite. Nice staff. You have to pay and park in the surrounding desks so that's a downfall. Update: Park in the hotel deck across the street and ask to have your ticket validated. read more

The service was slow and food below par. Salads were not worth the price of $17 for what they offered. I hope they improve in the future.

Met a few friends in town and from north of the city here last night. Being a Friday night in the city and plenty of people on the street, Stats was almost empty downstairs. I know they have the rooftop, but we had kids with us and wanted to be able to sit down and talk and have a meal. Our server was, very nice. And the food & drinks came out quickly. When we finally had a chance to order anything. It felt like at least 10-15 mins between checking in on us - I actually had to get up & track her down to put our entree order in. And the worst part, she failed to mention half the local beers that were actually on tap, so I was quite disappointed by only getting Sweetwater 420 as the 'local' beer. We actually stayed later at the bar watching a Cubs game and I got to have one. The food though, was delicious! We really didn't go wrong with anything! Chicken tacos, rosemary house made kettle cooked chips, crispy fried chicken sandwich, brisket, their kitchen is certainly in order! At 9:30 on a Friday, you should have a LOT more customers than servers, who were all either sitting at tables chatting or standing out front just eyeing people, not inviting anyone in, or anything to drum up business. read more

Some friends and I came in here after visiting the College Football Hall of Fame and we were not impressed. Our server was great, but when we ordered our meals, they took a little too long to come out The ambiance was strange, as they claim they are "Atlanta's #1 sports bar" but the dining area was so dark you could barely read the menu. We ordered some nachos without jalapenos and they came out covered with jalapenos, so we had to send them back. There were so many on there and they were seeded, so they were just going to be too spicy. I ordered the brisket burger and it came out with no brisket or bbq sauce. How does that happen? The server was very nice about it and apologized and about 10 minutes later my new burger came out. The burger itself was average. The burger patty was small and way overcooked and tasted pretty dry. 2/3 of our orders came out wrong. Again, our server was nice about it, but management never came over to apologize and we were charged full price for our entire tab. If we could do this over we would have gone to Chick Fil A. They would have gotten our orders right and it would have been half the price and just as good, if not better. read more

We sat at a table for 20 minutes without service. Servers walked past and never made eye contact. We left and went elsewhere.

Here from out of town. Came by to eat. Excellent!!!!! Fish and chips the best I've had ever. Got their stat 300 beer and for the light beer lovers, very good. Even the red ale was good. Definitely glad I came. Will go back when back in the ATL. read more

I'd say this place was pretty reasonable/average. It's honestly nothing to write home about. Regular bar food - wings, beer, etc. Parking was a bit of a pain, unfortunately, though I'd hate to knock them down points because of that. I'm not a fan of huge crowds, so maybe that cramped feeling is what is possibly impacting this score. Service was good, the restaurant was clean. Not sure I'll be back. read more

We went to watch the Falcons game and were seated in a section with a nice young gentleman in the back of the restaurant. It didn't really have "game day vibes" so we moved to another section with high top tables and more TVs. The restaurant has a classic nicer sports bar feel, and also has some brew tanks so I believe it doubles as a brewery. The tables with taps were down because the a/c was leaking throughout the restaurant. The new waitress was somewhat hard to find but provided pretty good service. We ordered. -Everything pretzel -Boiled Peanuts -Jumbo Buffalo Wings -Crispy Pork Ribs -Stone Mountain Double Cheeseburger -Hickory Smoked Pork Sandwich The food was pretty good. The French fries and Pork Ribs were good. The pork sandwich was a little dry, the burger was okay, wings were good. Nothing was bad at all. And the beers kept flowing. It was an overall pretty good experience. read more

I went with a group after going to the aquarium. Service was inattentive. And prices seemed a bit high for what the food was, I mean know inflation is at 7%, but $18 for 8 wings.... Fine maybe those are just restaurant prices at the city center... not a whole lot on the menu, but that usually equates to the restaurant in question doing those few things very well, right? Yea. Usually. Wings and tenders were ok. If I was a local I wouldn't go back. read more

Came here at about 3:30 on a Tuesday, predictably it's mostly empty. I had a beer and their beef brisket burger. Burger was done perfect, closet to well as I like, you get a decent amount of brisket as well. The brisket was cooked well, good flavor and "burntness". Overall I'd get again, it's a good combo and they do it well. They offer a good beer selection, not robust but good. The burger was $15 which to me was reasonable. read more

Very disappointed in this place. I picked this place based on my previous visit here during the national championship game over a year ago while in Atlanta. The bar was cool and the energy was great. This time around they failed miserably. Anytime you put out under cooked chicken, it tells me the kitchen is inconsistent and careless. The manager did comp the meal which is to be expected, but under cooked chicken is not safe and terrible to receive. Outside of that, the part of the chicken sandwich that was cooked tasted great. I liked the cucumber sauce idea on a chicken sandwich. I do hope this never happens again, unfortunately for me, I will not be returning to chance it. read more
