I was worried when I read the poor reviews of Stats - I came with a group of 17 (2 adults and 15 teenagers). They took our reservation. Our tables were ready on time & they gave us 2 servers. We all had separate checks and they didn't mind at all. They did not add gratuity and communicated that the kitchen was busy and food might some time. All 17 meals were out in 20 minutes! And everyone enjoyed their food. We never went without refills either. Great place to watch a game with a group! read more

They were very busy so we expected a wait but after waiting for 15 mins we asked the manager about the wait staff and she said "it's just that we are busy." Turns out- there was confusion amongst the waitstaff about who our server was (apparently bc they saw we had drinks left over from 45 min wait). Then we watched the wait staff pet a dog and drag garbage cans around with no obvious signs of hand washing- food came out wrong and no wait staff even checked on us after our initial order. If you are a lone traveler and want to eat here, good luck getting a table. Waited 45 minutes, was the third person on the waiting list. Watched groups of 10, 2, 2, 2, 2 that were behind e on the list go in front of me. When I asked the hostess, she gave me attitude, told me "you are by yourself go sit at the bar and don't wait." Well im not a fan of sitting a bar for various reasons. I asked her when she would seat me, said "well you aren't a priority as I have bigger groups that can use the tables ." Stats is alright. The last time we came they were fermenting their beer, which is cool they do it in house. However, don't keep it by the door because it smells really really bad. My favorite thing on the menu is the pretzel! Make sure to dip it in the queso. I don't recommend this place if you have a big group. The service tends to lack there and never seems to be attentive. We've come several times with a group during lunch. Even if it's slow, the service is subpar. We usually opt for the bar. Makes it a lot easier to order, get your food, eat and leave. They do always put whatever you want to watch on the TV screens. We usually come to watch soccer games during lunch. My coworkers love the wings. So put that on the must try list. read more

It was a Sunday afternoon. We had the best waiter in the city, RaQan. The conversation, the drinks and the food was all good.

Busy place with so many people downtown for a convention and Falcons game. Excellent staff - everyone was hustling. Our server Chandra was excellent. She was very busy but we were well attended to. I gave the 2 stars because 1 star is usually reserved for real dive bars, but the difference is sone dive bar would actually give a crap about its customers. The employees here basically zombies , "don't ask for anything, we are too busy to help you even though we are wanting your tip money". " We have 20 TVs available for your viewing pleasure , 6-8 playing the same game, but we will accommodate you if we think about it or if you slip us something of good value" Pretty much my experience! I wanted to give a huge shout out to chelsey. We were in town for the peach bowl and needed a place to eat & drink before the game. We originally thought we were going to be 12 people so they sat us in the private room upstairs. Chelsey was great with getting our orders and our drinks came out very fast. Our group quickly turned into 30 and chelsey was right there to take orders. She made sure our checks came in time for us to leave for the game and not miss anything. Everyone was talking about how great she was and how friendly and detailed oriented she was all day! The food was also very good, we ordered the nachos and popcorn ... yum!! We came with a reservation for a large group (40-50) and a buffet type line set up for our group. Overall, we left full, but that doesn't mean we left with the best taste in or mouth. The chicken was overly dry, but the pulled pork was very, very good. The Mac n cheese was also good. Unfortunately, though, upon showing up, they informed our party they hadn't set up enough tables. Then, when they finally did, they didn't inform us that they had set up a couple extras, so a significant portion of our group was off in another part of the restaurant away from us unfortunately. Overall, it's a nice bar, a fun hangout for a watering hole, but our service while friendly wasn't prepared or on top of their game. read more

I'm glad the mngr out this girl in her place because I had to ask for my own menu after sitting for 5 minutes with her in my face and for a beer. As an isn't or a restaurant I would have fired that girl on the spot. Don't tell me you have it under control when customers are walking all the way downstairs just to complain about you. I'm going to be real honest - the only reason I'm leaving a review is to counteract a review left by a member of my group (who left a one star rating and an unreasonable review IMO). We went to Stats last night as a large group after a day at a conference in the area. It wasn't the first location we had discussed, but it was the one that would let us make a reservation for 20 people on a Friday night without signing a contract to spend a minimum. When I made the reservation, I was told that they didn't do separate checks for parties larger than 9 and they added 20% gratuity automatically. I was also told that we would be able to do multiple cards on a single check. When we arrived, they immediately got us set up at tables and started taking drink orders. By the time, they'd gotten back with drinks - 5 more people had arrived and people had moved around the tables. Our servers were super accommodating even though we now had a party of 24. The food was exactly what I expected and I liked everything I had. I only got a single beer, which was a little disappointing, but it was excellent. When people started complaining that the restaurant wouldn't go against a clearly stated policy to not split checks, the manager agreed to give us 4 separate checks so that a single person could pay each and we could pay that person. It wasn't that inconvenient, except for the fact that the checks were randomly separated. In general, I enjoyed my experience at Stats and I would return, but not with a large group. read more

So let me explain for the 3 star because it should be 2 but the ribs that they serve they don't cook them self the waitress said they get it from the BBQ spot next door 1. I love the service both employees were very professional and knowledgeable about the menu 2. Good American sports bar food. Always have the big games on and not a bad place to watch at all. I like the upstairs open roof area. It's real nice. They have a bar up there and it's just an all around good place to be on a beautiful Atlanta day. I had the Noonan Sandwich ($11) with some sweet potato fries and a Goose Island IPA ($6) and the Hail Mary Hummus app ($10). It was a good combo. Stats is a great bar! The food is good, we love the pita chips and hummus, as well as any of the wings, we've literally had all the flavors. We are from out of town and this was our third trip to this bar. 2 of the 3 visits we sat at the bar. Typical sports bar. Great design and plenty of room. Different seating arrangements and plenty of screens showing lots of games around. I got the pastrami sandwich which was good but way way too salty. All my companions had cheeseburgers and loved them. The stats 300 pilsner was a table favorite. My first time in Atlanta and this place make me not want to come back. The only thing good was the Stella Artois on draft. The food was terrible when recieved over an hour after that didn't see no one for 2hrs. That's how long I waited for mycheck after asking 4 different staff about the whereabouts of the waitress and was told oh she in the back and when she came back she had attitude. This place is a fraction of what it used to be. Back when STATS first opened it was a premiere sports bar. The restaurant was sponsored by Adidas and all the servers looked athletic and wore Adidas gear, there was a sports radio show that was hosted in there, they had an in house smoker so the ribs, chicken, and bbq was out of this world, and an epic menu that was quite diverse and included collard greens, mac and cheese, and a variety of other seriously delicious dishes. Couple that with the fact that is legitimately they only restaurant I have ever seen that has tables with beer taps so that guest can refill their own beers at their table. Fast-forward to today. Sloppy looking servers in faded t-shirts, a one page paper printed menu with stains and very mediocre food. Honestly, to say it's a sports bar they only have two burgers on the menu and have limitations on stupid things like not being allowed to split a wing order half and half with flavors. The drinks come out in plastic cups...it's very very regular and disappointing now. The only thing saving them is the layout, the great rooftop, and the fact they still have the table bar taps. There's now better options for sports bars close to Phillips Arena and the Dome to deal with this place. If you want better food and service I'd suggest trying the downtown Hudson Grille or Dantana's before trying out this place. So sad, because it was once so epic. read more

My mother hosted a party here to celebrate running a marathon in all 50 states in the USA. The staff was wonderful - accommodating, professional, kind, and communicative. The food (especially the macaroni and cheese and the 'dirty bird' fried chicken) was delicious. Stats from the outside looked like a decent place to grab a beer and some apps, but it turned out to be a letdown really. First sign should of been the fact that it was merely empty during a sports night, and considering it's a sports bar, that should of been a red flag for me. I still gave it a chance as I was pretty darn hungry and wanted some pub style food for the the night. Pros would be the interior is spacious and welcoming, hosting a large bar and multiple TV's for sporting events. It is very close to downtown as well, which makes it great if you are playing the tourist card while in the ATL for vacation and or passing by. They also had a decent selection of beers on tap, rightfully so though if you are calling yourself a sports bar. Now the cons do outweigh the pros in my opinion, but judging from the other reviews it seems a lot are with me on some fronts. I was able to get a seat right away due to the lack of patrons in the restaurant, but service was pretty hit and miss honestly. I ordered a simple app of hummus platter, which was pretty bland, but more importantly it took 30 minutes to get me a hummus plate, which is a no go for me as the hummus was most likely already pre prepared. Decided to grab a cob salad though as I was still hungry, again had to flag down the staff as no one checked in on me, but after ordering, the salad did come out fairly quickly. Cob salad was pretty tasty, but I asked for dressing on the side, but instead found it dumped on the salad itself. I decided to skip any meals after the first two due to the long wait and underwhelming dishes. As for pricing, it was affordable for the dishes I ordered, but some on the menu looked to be priced on the steep end. May of been an off night for the crew, but I was not impressed and ultimately did not leave a good impression with me. This place sucks. The service is rude and just really does not give a hoot. I could not sample the food because my server just didn't really even bother to offer. I came in on a Monday afternoon and sat at the bar. The place was not busy and there were two bartenders. After about 15 min of watching the bartender walk back and forth in front of me (and ignoring me) I asked for a beer. Without saying a thing (no hello, hi can I help you?), she went a got a beer and put it in front of me. I looked at the menu and after about 20 more min of sitting there and the bartender doing busy work and ignoring me, I asked another server for my bill because I could not get the bartender's attention. My bartender looked like the "militant" type and probably ignored me because I am just a normal guy. I walked next store to the Coal Fired Pizza place and got great service and spent some money!!!!!!
