R and I were in the area and decided to come here to eat before heading to a concert at State Farm Arena next door. I'm not sure about the parking situation since we took MARTA, and the station is within walking distance. Walked into the entrance to the Omni and went up one floor to get to the entrance to Top Draft. At first, I thought there was construction going on at the entrance, since it looked like the whole front side had scaffolding in front of it. However, that's part of the "look." Once inside, though, this sports bar/restaurant was pretty spacious inside with lots of seating, some of which included charging ports for phones and other mobile devices. We were immediately greeted by a hostess who led us to a hightop table near the bar counter. From our table, we were able to watch any of the 11 monitors that just in the bar area. There were more monitors throughout the bar. Our server was so nice, friendly and attentive! We let her know that we were headed to a concert next door right after eating, which was a nice way of saying that we were in a hurry. She picked up on that hint, and made sure to take our orders and get our food to the table pronto. We ordered the fish and chips, which were really good and crispy - hot and tasty! The fish had a soft crunchy outside, which reminded me of a tempura batter. The chips were these big fries, whose shapes I had never experienced before. Although we were eating fried foods, they didn't give us that I-just-ate-fried-food-and-now-my-stomach-is-making-me-wish-I-hadn't queasy feeling. We had the choice of putting malt vinegar, catsup or tartar sauce on the fish and/or chips. I thought the tartar sauce tasted great with both of them. Top Draft was convenient since it's inside the hotel, but unfortunately the food really missed the mark. The food was greasy, and the burgers were not thoroughly cooked, which was disappointing. There also weren't many kid-friendly options beyond greasy fried foods, making it less ideal for families. That said, the cocktail drinks were good, and the service truly helped make up for some of the food issues--the staff was friendly and attentive. Checked into my room at the Omni in the early morning and decided to grab lunch here after catching a few hours of rest. March Madness time so hit the Sports Bar for lunch. Bartender was attentive and friendly. I love being down south as the sweet tea was perfection. Lots of TV's although I was surprised to see TV shows like Friends and Law & Order playing (with no sound) on 3 of the 5 big screens. That's a management issue in my opinion. Should never be that way. You're a sports bar, right??!!??!! Ordered the club sandwich which was loaded with meat and very good. Fries were a highlight. Sweet tea was the real winner. This was my second experience at Top Draft. The first was an unexpected pop-in on a night when the restaurant had been rented out for a special event which meant it was not open to the public. However, after the special event had ended, the lovely staff allowed my husband and I to come in for a final nightcap. While we were visiting downtown recently we were excited to actually get the opportunity totry this place out for its food options. Top Draft is the sports bar that is located in The Omni CNN Center, across from Centennial Park. The interior is very clean and there is plenty of interior and exterior seating for guests. Our waitress was very kind and eager to ensure our meal was ordered as well as presented in the manner it should. Additionally, the other waiters/waitresses would swing by at times simply to check in, which was very nice. My husband ordered the Blackened Salmon Sandwich and I ordered the Turkey Burger. Both of us were able to get a side salad in lieu of fries which definitely made us happy. My turkey burger had multiple patties making it beyond filling. It came on a pretzel bun which had the perfect softness to it. While the drinks may be a bit pricey here, the food alone is worth it. read more

Late night after SEC championship game. Place was packed and had a live band. We hung out outside of the restaurant waiting for a seat. They had a walk up bar and TVs in the lobby area. Tip: The drinks at the walk up bar are significantly more expensive than in the restaurant even though they serve both locations. Lively atmosphere and the servers worked hard. I had previously visited Top Draft Sports Lounge for a private event and decided to return because I was craving a repeat of the wings I had before. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the hostess and given a table right away. I was pleased they didn't try to seat me at the bar just because I was dining alone--a nice touch that made me feel welcome. Things were off to a great start! Shortly after I was seated, I was brought some water, and my waitress arrived. She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to track down the wings I had in mind, which were no longer on the menu. I didn't even know the name; I could only describe them and show her a picture. She took the extra step to check with the kitchen, and they agreed to make the Thai Sweet Chili wings for me--success! I was also in the mood for a cocktail, but I found the menu a bit limited, with only about six options. I'd love to see them expand that section, but they certainly didn't skimp on the alcohol content, which was appreciated. The wings were $18 for eight, and my cocktail was around $16. It's a little on the pricey side, but likely in line with typical sports lounge pricing. The wings were definitely worth it in my opinion. The service was excellent; my waitress and other staff members checked in multiple times to make sure I was enjoying both my drink and the food. I do plan to return, but it'll likely be for special occasions unless they introduce happy hour specials or adjust their prices a bit. read more

We were staying at the Omni Atlanta at Centennial Park and dined here twice. Top Draft Sports Lounge was a great place to hang out and have a drink and eat some tasty treats. They have numerous video monitors showing sports and a very nice balcony with a great view of Centennial Park. One night I enjoyed the Fried Chicken Salad. It was your typical salad with two big pieces of fried chicken on it. Sounds healthy but not, but did not care. The fried chicken was delicious and expected so being in the southern heartland. The second night I enjoyed the Caesar Salad were just only needed a light snack. It was great with chopped lettuce and fixings. My wife ordered the Battered Fish & Chips and the Chef's Daily Pick which was the Smokehouse Burger of the two visits. I tried both and the fish was tasty and the burger was huge. The chef even came out to deliver it and returned to see if she enjoyed it, and she very much did. It was nice flavor with the perfect ingredients. On both nights I enjoyed SweetWater 420 Pale Ale draft beers. I always go local when I visit cities. Top Draft was on the upper scale of sports bars and one night wore dress shorts with polo shirt. The seating logistics here are awful. Even though the hostess says all tables are on a waitlist it's a free for all. Not their fault. But no intervention to make it right for the people playing by the rules and waiting an hour. The servers at these tables are actually helping them with no clue they were not seated by the hostess. They discounted the nachos half off since it was for two people and it was huge! We found Top Draft when we were looking for a sports bar with large TVs to watch a game. I would recommend anyone to go to Top Draft for that reason - but, even better reasons: the food and service were very good. Most people don't think highly of hotel restaurants, but this was a superior experience. Each employe we interacted with was pleasant and eagerly went through the restaurant finishing their duties. There is a large selection of beer on tap, along with a full bar. Clearly the draw here is the large screens which were all blasting the important games of the day. For food, although the menu is small, the food came out quickly, fresh, and was a good size. My fish sandwich was great, simple, but tasty with a nice stack of french fries that rounded out the meal well. This place was the spot to be after a conference I attended at the Omni Hotel. The service was great, Mary helped me and she checked in regularly, had great food recommendations and was overall very pleasant (even when I forgot my receipt and had to come back to get it)! She suggested the nachos for me and they were really good!! A little misleading because the looked dry, but they were in fact very flavorful and the chicken was juicy! There were generous helpings of guacamole and toppings and they came out SO FAST... literally like 5 mins. I came in around 7ish after the conference and while there were a decent amount of people there, more from the conference kept trickling in and it was a fun atmosphere to have a social dinner. A friend wanted to shake things up Friday night and told us to meet him at Top Draft. The sports bar is located inside the Omni Hotel. Once you enter the lobby, simply pass the front desk, and the bar is located on the right hand side. The bar is sheek, modern and most of all has a sexy rooftop overlooking the city from a downtown perspective looking North. You can tell you are in a 5 star hotel as the staff provided THE BEST customer service. Opening Doors, "Yes Sir" and just the right poise and etiquette. We had a little bit of everything to eat. Buffalo, Fried and Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings, flatbread pizzas, Calamari, and of course drinks. I will definitely come back. It's a chill vibe to mix up the routine of being a local, and I'm always down to mingle with tourist....lol Now, some constructive criticism.... The bar gave off a higher end, chic vibe and the drinks (at least the Whiskey Sours) were made terribly. They didn't use any form of bitters, and No egg whites. It tasted like a club drink... I don't think the bartender knew how to make a proper whiskey sour. For pointers on making this drink check out Southern Gentleman, or 8Arm in East Atlanta. Made very well... With a sports bar of that caliber, they need to know how to make the drinks properly. Drinks did come in nice glasses, iced well, but I was disappointed there. Secondly, the waiter advised us he couldn't split our checks. He made a snarky remark on the lines of, "Man, do you see how many people are in your party"...Or something like that. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time, but In all honesty, it was a large group, but we were in different tables and areas. He could have just printed the bill and we give him the 3 or 4 cards to split but he literally refused.... We got it handled but I think he was trying to secure a tip or something.... Aside from those 2 hiccups, I'll be back. I like the vibes and it's a cool place that isn't too well known yet. The food is typical bar food, but made quite well. The flatbread pizza is ok, but it would be nice to perhaps offer a traditional pepperoni flatbread. I never was a huge fan of the bbq chicken pizza vibe. read more

First visit was not so good - seated at the bar because it had just opened but getting service was a challenge. My wife had to flag down the server on occasions and sometimes had to ask a different server for requests. The next night was the opposite - Patrice, our server, was busy but still checked on us when she passed by. The bartenders were backed up so drinks were slow and Patrice kept apologizing. Amazing view of the skyline and so comfortable to just sit, eat, drink, and chat. Had the BBQ chicken flatbread and Cesar salad with grilled shrimp and they tasted amazing for a "sports bar."
