Went to my regular doctor because I was still sick and she was appalled the "doctor" at urgent care didn't even bother listening to my lungs or breathing. Just took my 12-year-old son to see Dr. Tang. He has a small rash on the inside of his arm. No other symptoms. Dr. Tang was cold, heartless and not thorough at all. He treated my son as if he had lepracy. He barely looked at the rash (only from a great distance). He did not even get close enough to examine him. Then just prescribed an antibiotic and said he needed to go to a dermatologist. In addition, he said aloud that he was very unlucky to get this rash. First of all, my son is 12 and the doctor made him feel as if he should be quarantined. Heartless, not informative, and completely inappropriate. Will never go here again!! FYI-went to dermatologist and it is pimples caused by sweat. Clearly nothing dangerous and easily diagnosable by a "doctor". read more

i came here for my ear being clogged and me not being able to hear out of it, along with me being here 2 lady's and an elderly were here as well. the doors were locked but they were open, we called the number and they had us email our information instead of us showing the our cards through the glass window. the elderly woman started to shake and we called the place again to tell them that she had needed a chair but they refused to give her one. they had made the elderly woman wait another 30 minutes until they finally let her get a wheelchair, 5 minutes later an ambulance was needed and the woman wad taken to the hospital. i do not recommend going her at all, and for my ear i had to wait another hour even though there was nobody else there. again, i DO NOT recommend going here. read more

I seek medical attention from StatMd on the rare occasion that I am under the weather. I saw Dr. Aronbayov last week and was extremely happy with my care. He is quick, efficient and nice. The wait was about 15 minutes . I enjoyed myself in the clean environment while the massage chair released the knots in my back as I ate a snack from the snack bar. I could have stayed there all afternoon! Great place!! read more

Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this urgent care. The waiting room is clean, stocked with snacks, water, cell phone chargers, massage chairs, and comfy couches. When you go to the old location there is a sign telling you that they have moved. The new location That they have moved to a much bigger facility with extra extra parking. Very spacious and clean. 5stars to that. The Staff here a very friendly and kind. This place has White Red and Grey seats to signify there colors of "StatMD" which is really nice. Your called really quickly for your appointment to see the Doctor. What I like most about this place is that if you don't have insurance no problem you'll still be seen. The Rep is nice on the phone when you call and there isn't any appointment necessary you can just walk right in fill out paperwork and be seen. There are Flatscreen TV's in every Work-up room for the comfort of the Patients while they are being seen by the Medical Staff. I will definitely be coming back here in the near Future for work-ups, Physicals and other Medical workups. Also may I mention that they also give you a phone call to check up on you to see how your doing. read more

I came in for the first time and I was nervous. But the StatMD is very nice and comfortable. I was accompanied by joel and I forgot the physician who treated me. Poor. I'm not mad, just disappointed. My mom told me not to go here, but I didn't listen. I explained my major symptoms being body aches, fatigue, and congestion. Dx was allergic rhinitis, which is allergies. ??? It was a waste of money. Moral of the story is always listen to your mom. read more

Been here 2 yr's ago & very pleased with Nurse Practitioner who treated me in emergency for fractured knee. Went recently on a holiday weekend for eye hemorrhage & saw Dr. Augustine Enaw. The reception area & tech were very efficient & professional, however, the so called "Dr" was not. He listened to my heart & chest which were fine. Vital signs taken by the nurse/assistant also fine. Had difficulty understanding what the Dr was saying, which was not much & he didn't even examine my eye! Said he didn't have the equipment! I'm a health care professional myself & didn't expect him to dilate my eye, but not to use an ophthalmoscope? Really! This is routine equipment! He spent 5 minutes with me & said I had "blood in the eye". No kidding! Not a "professional diagnosis". I had severe hemorrhage in other eye in the past which was not evident to me but seen on a routine eye exam when getting new contact lenses . A that time was sent to retinal specialist & eye was treated with laser. Therefore, quite concerned that day with was was happening to my other eye. I left there quite unhappy with the Dr & made the front staff aware. They said "sorry .... & no charge". Immediately went to the ER & was examined & diagnosed properly. Can't speak to other Doctors at Stat MD, however can't believe this person has MD after his name! P.S. recently got a bill...$250, charged my insurance company & also me for co pay of $117! Called Stat MD & explained my experience again & they finally agreed to void the charges. Do not agree to be seen by this Dr....you will not be happy with the experience! read more

Ever since turning into a CityMD, this place has gone considerably downhill. I used to go to StatMed all the time and they were always on the money. I developed a pain in my throat/ear after having a summer flu that was going around. I don't have a primary care doctor and this place is super convenient. First time going for my throat/ear issue was horrendous. It was fairly busy and it seemed like the doctor who saw me was the only one on staff that day. He ran in and out, said I looked fine and told me to take some OTC meds. It worked...for a few days. Went back to a CityMD in Brooklyn only for that doctor to say the same thing (i.e. "I don't know why you have this pain, you look fine"). After a month and seeing a specialist it turns out I've had a low level infection lingering which was causing the pain. Apparently the "doctors" at CityMD never thought to take a simple culture after I told them a CLEAR history of how the pain started and what was going on. I'm only giving this place two stars bc of how aesthetically pleasing it is and the front staff at both CityMDs were nice. The "doctors" on the other hand seemed to either be bottom of their med school class or just really apathetic to doing their job well. Lesson learned, get a real primary care physician. read more

Came here for the first time this past weekend. After a mere 15 minutes my vitals were checked and I was given a diagnosis. Dr.Aronbayev was very patient and listened to all of my qualms. I went to StatMD a few days ago for a simple infection that just required a prescription for antibiotics. The facility was very clean and the woman working the front desk was extremely friendly. I was there around 3pm on a Friday afternoon and I only had to wait about 5 minutes and the whole visit took less than an hour. I even received a phone call 2 days later asking how I was feeling. I will definitely return to this StatMD if I have any similar medical issues in the future. read more

Facilities are very nice and updated, the staff seemed kind. Im taking 3 stars off because the Doctor over reacted, hardly checked me, didnt ask many questions and almost immediately sent me to the ER for an infection and rash I had. He said I may need surgery within a minute and wrote me a prescription to the ER. When I went to the ER they examined and asked more questions for 2-3 minutes and said all I'd need is antibiotics and that he really over reacted. Aside from the large amount of time and effort that took out of my day while sick that was a $400 bill to the ER because the Doctor at urgent care barely touched me or asked the what seemed like basic questions the ER doctors asked. I'd be more understanding if he were in a rush because there was a crowd of patients waiting but there wasn't, it wasnt busy at all and $400 is not a reasonable bill for antibiotics and a 5 minute ER visit. read more

I always used stat MD since before they had moved across the street on Jericho and it was the little place next to McDonald's, it USED to be great!! The doctors were smart and would find out what was wrong whatever the case was (strep, sinus,flu). Now, the few times I've been to the new place the doctors have been horrible and the one assistant was not very knowledgable either. They misdiagnosed me and gave me antibiotics when in fact I had the flu. I went to my primary physician 2 days later to be told to discontinue 10 days of antibiotics and that I was influenza B positive. My suggestion is go to your primary care doctor or maybe find a better walk in place. I won't be giving them anymore visits. I hope they change their ways and instead of offering free water bottles, cookies and massage chairs put the money into better health care ( doctors and medical assistants ).
