Please keep in mind that the practice has several doctors. This review is specifically for Dr. Charlene Grace- Foster. I recently changed PCP because I didn't feel as though my past practitioner's office staff did a good job with getting test results etc back to me in a timely fashion. After a frustrating search, I think I've landed my dream team. For me, it's super important that reception receives me well and that process is seamless because it sets the tone for the visit. My first visit was with the Rockville Center location. The staff was incredibly warm and check in was easeful. Wait time was less than 20 mins. The intake forms were very through even asking about my sleep patterns and mental health. I appreciate a good screening as long as they are actually going to use the information to serve me well. I was super impressed that before I even saw the Dr that they ran an EKG and outside of vitals was having conversations with me about bone density test and scheduling my first colonoscopy since I'm now middle-aged( gasp). Dr. Foster introduced herself and asked me what brought me in. It took a while for me to feel relaxed in her presence. We had conversations about everything that was concerning for me, I asked for what I needed and was satisfied with the quality of the experience but my 2nd visit was the game-changer. Less than two weeks later, I had to revisit as I got ill. For this visit I saw her in Valley Stream which is a much smaller location. Before we even addressed my labs and the results of my tests, she checked in with me. She actually paused to put the person ahead of the procedure and that really made me feel seen. We were able to connect as women, mothers and that reminded me of why representation in health care matters so much for me as a black, Caribbean woman. I walked away feeling really connected and confident that I was in good hands. Delivery of results and RX has been great and I look forward to a longstanding relationship with my Dr and the practice.

The staff is pretty nice and efficient though and that's a serious plus for this office. All in all its a decent and small local office.

All doctors I've seen, my GP and also other doctors when mine was unavailable, have been lovely. They have finally fixed a lot of their appointment making issues and now have a modern online appointment scheduling system with app compatibility, but also now have way less availability than previously for some reason. The past two times I've needed quick care, I wasn't able to get an appointment for nearly a week. (Ended up going to urgent care for help instead) A minimum of 5 days for a pressing issue is normal. They don't allow you to walk in and wait for an opening to pop up. I work in the healthcare field and feel that I can…read morerelate to/understand certain situations, especially when things go wrong, so for me to write a bad review for healthcare says a lot. I picked Dr. Leeman because of the reviews on ZocDoc, which were very misleading. I went in for my annual visit, the receptionist was very dismissive and it was clear she did not enjoy her job. The medical assistant was a lot better. I did not get to see the doctor the entire time until I was sitting in his office-45 minutes later after a series of unexplained tests that I had to question to make sure it was allowed by my insurance. Finally, I met with the doctor who, as the previous comments mentioned, was very adamant on making sure I knew how to use ZocDoc to leave a review and book appointments. I shared with him a concern I've been having regarding my asthma/ bronchitis constantly glaring up. He suggested I get a Xray to which I explained I had just received one and could give him in the results, he insisted on getting a new one with no explanation- or rather no REAL explanation other than going around the question. Before leaving he mentioned he would take a look at my urine sample to which I explained no one had given me a cup or told me about one. He said he would check on it, upon walking out of his off in the middle of the hallway, was my urine cup with all my information on it (MAJOR HIPPA violation by the way). I asked why my cup was in the middle of the hallway to which the MA just said "oh I forgot to tell you." I left, less than impressed to say the least. If that wasn't bad enough, It took me almost a month to reach someone for my blood results. The doctor finally called me back, and despite me telling the doctor AND the MA several times about 2 specific blood tests (the only REAL reason I even went)- neither test was done nor was their any apology or explanation as to why they weren't done. On top of that there was no plan to fix the issue either. I asked, so far, twice since my appointment to have my results mailed to me and have yet to receive them. Never again will I be seeing this doctor.

His office staff are a bunch of children. The kid who tried to take my blood (twice) could barely form a coherent English language sentence. Honestly, his license should be pulled. A complete disgrace.
