Came here the other day having an issue with my nose thought it was a sinus infection. Front desk staff was friendly. Since it was a sunday they werent able to check the insurance so i paid upfront and was going to get a reversal payment Place is huge. Plenty of parking large clean waiting room. It is set back in the parking lot so it is hard to tell if it is open or not if you are just driving by I saw the PA. After hearing my concerns she examinee my nose. She was unsure it it was true sinus or a dermatlogy issue so She recommended some hot/cold compresses and also rx me an antibiotics if it doesnt improve for me to go to the ER. I developed a mump like swelling during dinner and got to Rapid Response about 8:30, close to their closing time. They took me promptly, accessed my previous visits records, and the P.A. examined me,diagnosed a salivary gland infection, prescribed antibiotics, phoned them in to an all night pharmacy ( the pharmacy near them closed at 9 pm, and my healing was able to start that night! And they called me the next day as a follow up. This has been like all my previous visits highly recommended! read more

I called to find out about the covid test and their hours and insurance requirements. They give me the information, they close at 9pm. I get there at 7/30pm and the attendant tells me they've taken their last patient for the night. Huh? No one is even in the room. Then she says our system is down so we can't do anything. What a waste of my time and a poor response from the attendants. This is supposed to be an urgent care facility and it's an hour and a half before they close. Very unfriendly and no concern as to why I'm at an urgent center. I see why they are often empty. I go back in the next morning only to be told that a rapid test is &100 and PCR is a medical copay. According to the news the tests are free. This place is ridiculous. Trying to make money when the govt reimburses for these services. read more

The health practitioners are very prompt, professional, knowledgeable and patience. Their extended business hours make it very convenient to us. The facility is spacious, bright and clean. We had been here for a few times when the kids were feeling sick during after hours, got treated immediately all the time. My kid had an ear pain a few weeks ago and we went in at around 8:15 pm. The doctor checked on him and prescribed the antibiotics for him to use. When we got to the pharmacy, the pharmacist advised us that the prescribed antibiotics was not available due to shortage and we had to get a new prescription. The pharmacist called them at around 8:45 pm (this Urgent Care closes at 9:00 pm on that day), they answered the phone, took immediate action to work with the pharmacist to send in new prescriptions and made sure the medication was available to my kid before they closed. I could not thank them enough to take care of my kid so well. We will definitely go back to this Urgent Care if we need after hours medical attentions in the future. read more

Somewhere in the world is the world's worst phlebotomist, And someone has an appointment with her at 8:00 tomorrow morning. I walked in at 11:45 a.m. on a Saturday. The woman before me had just come from Quest down the hallway, I guess they couldn't take her blood because they were closing at 12:00, so she said she had a Quest script and she wanted to come as a walk-In. The woman working there was the rudest person on the planet and said we don't take walk-ins after 11:30, hey, you may want to mention that on your website, probably something she made up so she can go home, And she was beyond obnoxious to her. Then I said I'm also a walk in and she just rolled her eyes literally and said s ign in. Very sensitive to energy, and as a spiritual person, I really don't need that angry psychic p vampire drawing blood blood out of me. I went down the hallway to quest, the woman explained that she could not see me but she helped me make an appointment online through their portal, since it would not take my phone wouldn't take a picture of their scan code. I rather not get service and be treated well on another day than ever deal with these horrible people again. read more

Any time I have been here I have never waited longer than ten minutes. All the employees are pleasant and knowledgeable and very caring.

Friendly staff. Efficient. Not particularly wheelchair friendly: lumpy degraded parking lot, degraded handicap ramp to sidewalk, large ledge to overcome at the entrance. This needs to be addressed. read more

Front desk is friendly and informative. (NOT RUDE) The PA assistant was patient and friendly with my son. The PA explained everything (TO ME AND MY SON), took good care of my son and didn't rush our visit at all like some urgent care places. I do not recommend this urgent care, especially if you are a person of color. I went here one day because I was short of breath and the woman at the front desk informed me that the nebulizer machine was broken. She then called the back office and was informed that the machine was working but someone was using it and I would be next. I was called to the back and placed in a room, a young lady came in and asked me a couple of questions, at this point I was want information down because I could barely catch my breath. She seemed annoyed and left the room, upon leaving the room she closed the door. I was alone for a few minutes and I kept calling out for help. I had to get up, open the door where I continued to call for help. The young lad stuck her head out of another room and told me o had to wait on a physician. I told her, "it's not a good idea to leave someone who can't breathe in a room alone with a closed door" at this point I'm gasping. A physician walked into our conversation and told me she also had someone waiting to use the nebulizer so I was third in line. I decided to leave at this point and the physician shouted out "sorry we're short of staff today". I sat in the waiting room waiting for my ride and the young lady who assisted me in the back came and sat at the front desk with a smirk on her face. I ended up going to the ER where I was admitted and ended up on oxygen for several days, I was diagnosed with the flu and RSV. This urgent care has no compassion for a patient in distress. They were not concerned about my condition, they seemed annoyed that I could barely talk and there was no sense of urgency. They also lack professionalism and people skills. After being released from the hospital, I called and was told an office manager wouldn't be in for a few days. I left a detailed email with my name and number and no one got back to me. Shame on them. There are more urgent cares in the area if you need to visit one but definitely not them! read more

I normally dont bash a local business but now need to after going back and forth all day trying to resolve this. I went to Rapid Response back in October for my physical for my CDL. They did it and sent my paper work off to albany. I got the paper work back a week later stating the medical examiner didnt add her license expiration date. I called Rapid and they said they would take care of it and fax it back to albany. I get an email saturday saying im no longer medically cleared to drive a commercial vehicle because they never recieved my paper work. I go there with.my original paper work so they can affix the date and demanded a refund being they messed up. No manager was there so i left a message to call me. She did and after 2 calls and several emails she says its my fault for not looking at the papers. Hello? There is an assumption that you do your job correctly. Guess not in todays world. I highly recomend going elsewhere for your cdl medical certificate. I wasted a whole day clearing this up to be able to do my job. At the end of the day rapid response didnt care i lost money and wasted a day clearing up there mistake that i was told was fixed! read more

I'm on the fence about this place. I think it is probably good if you have something you just need an antibiotic for, otherwise you're probably better off just going to the ER. I went in for some pain I was having. The PA looked at me for maybe 5 minutes. No X-ray or any explanation as to why there wouldn't be an X-ray. Didn't explain anything in detail. Didn't really seem to care or show any empathy. I ended up going to the ER the next day because I was still in so much pain. I probably could have saved my copay and just gone straight to the ER. On the plus side, there was no wait at all, as the place was totally empty on a Thursday afternoon. I would come back for a cold/virus but not for anything more than that. read more

I never been to urgent care for myself. I didn't know what to expect. I normal go to PM Pediatrics for the kiddos but this time I was in need of some medical attention. I woke up early morning on Christmas Eve and to my surprise my throats was sore and couldn't swallow it felt like something was stuck. I called around to a few Dr's office to get an appointment and everything was closed. First thing that came to mind was to Yelp and search Urgent Care. This was the closest location, I called to make sure they was open and yes they was, they stated that they closed at 5pm. When I walked in I was greeted by 2 receptions. The receptionist ask if they was first time there I stated yes, she asked for my insurance cards and co pay, and handed me a clipboard with paperwork that needed to be filled out. As soon as I filled it out I was called in. I was triage by the nurse and two second later the doctor came in. He was very friendly and got right to the point. I told him my issues and my own self diagnoses and he listened then explained why it wasn't my own self diagnosis and explained to me the correct diagnosis. He also took a throaty cultural and prescribed some medication and I was on my way. This all took place in 10 min from the moment I walked in and step out . Only 10 mins I was very pleased. But it didn't stop there. The next day He called me to make sure I was feeling better and told me that if I wasn't, it usually takes the medication about 3 days to start working and if I wasn't feeling any better within to call him back. Then 2 days after that, he called me back with the results of my throat cultural and went into detailed about everything that he had confirmed at the time of the visit, and that if I still don't feel better after taking the medication please come back in. We registered online on the morning before we took our daughter in. When we arrived just shortly after opening, the paperwork was already printed out and waiting. Since we were early the wait was minimal but my daughter enjoyed the kids waiting area. The doctor who saw her was very nice and even followed up with a phone call the next day. This is a great office to have so close to home when ear infections pop up overnight on a weekend or holiday. The front desk staff was also very nice. read more

My granddaughter went in for a Covid test last week. They took her insurance information and then also charged her $100. Tests are supposed to be free. When I called them they told me tests were covered by insurance, no additional fee. When I asked why my granddaughter was charged, she said the policy was changed this week. No charge now. Went to rapid response urgent care on franklin Ave on December 1st because I had covid symptoms due to being exposed and I waited until the next day and didn't receive any phone call. When I called on December 3rd to get my results they told me they called me and left a message but it wasn't on my my phone they left it on the wrong phone number. read more

Make sure the lady at the desk checks u in. I signed in. One hour later she asked me who I am!!! I was assured that no one got ahead of me. Besides that the both doctors are excellent and actually call you up the next day to see how you are doing. I would go there again. This was my second visit. read more

Went in last night for a rapid covid swab and was thoroughly impressed with every staff member I dealt with. The young lady at the front desk who assisted us was kind and very good at her job. The MA who did the swabs on my partner and I made us comfortable and was also very professional. Lastly a PA came into the room to explain the next steps and walk us out. The PA's at this location are knowledgeable and they take their time with you. Very impressed with Dean and his level of care. However, the receptionist are condescending and have no empathy for sick people. I called to ask a question after being treated and the receptionist acted like she didn't want to go ask the PA. She even put me on hold for literally 20 seconds and came back with her made up answer. Hence the reason for the 2 stars. If your front desks is horrible it is a bad reflection on your business. Wish this place was 24 hours!! Staff are lovely & polite. Went there because my son was very ill. As soon as I arrived I was greeted right away by the lovely ladies at front. Not soon after, my son name was called & the patient care faculties members took care of him right away. They were very informative & commutative, answered all of my questions/ concerns plus more. Wow! The best thing that's ever happened to Franklin Square! I was out walking my dog and completely missed a patch of ice and ended up slipping and falling so hard on my left side. I thought I may have fractured something so I went to Rapid Response Urgent Care and the service was amazing! The registration process was less than 10min, I was immediately called in by the MA who was extremely attentive and friendly. I waited in the exam room no more than 5min for the Doctor who thoroughly assessed me and did not try to rush me out. The Xray Tech was gentle and experienced. Overall, it was the best patient care I received in a long time and by far the cleanest urgent care I ever visited! read more

On Monday, January, 25, 2021, I knew that was was very ill, and couldn't get an appointment with any an urgent care, along with my PCP. I got very lucky in my search to find Rapid Response in Franklin Square. My experience was more than excellent, the front office staff was wonderful, and put me totally at ease. The office was large, and very inviting, that being said, my care, by PA Domenico was such a positive experience. He addressed my issue, and was kind and professional along with the other assistants. I have been to many, but this has been the most positive experience, I've had so far. A few days later, after lab results came in, they decided to change to a stronger drug, fully explained why, and after, I called back with many questions, they were so kind in taking my calls, immediately. I give them five stars. They will be my go to Urgent Care in the future. Thank you to all, who gave me hope. read more
