I had Covid back in April and this didn't feel the same...I got a Covid test which was not as unpleasant as it was back in April. They gave me a strep test as well and a mono test and all were negative thankfully! From the front desk Karina, to Tristan, to the PA, everyone was professional and wonderful. The place is run very professionally and they are as accommodating as possible! They follow all the rules. Very pleased with the experience. Highly recommended

I physically went to the location with the bill question and got no answers and the manager didn't call me as I was told she was. Also, good luck reaching them over the phone! It is impossible! Even when they do tests and tell us we will call back with the results they never do! Once again, every single time I have to go there in person to ask for it! Some doctors are awful as well, telling me mu child needs cough meds and I should take one over the counter, after I told her we already went through this and no one of the over the counter help, she sent the referral for meds to the pharmacy and guess what she prescribed, right, the meds over the counter already told her didn't work. We had to go back next day and pay for the visit again! As I said, sick and tired. Time to look for better location.

This isn't my Primary Care Physician's Office - But, the staff truly made me feel like this in fact was my "Medical Home" - Thank you for being so caring. Nurse, I truly am embarrassed - that I have forgotten her name - She was extremely caring. Thank you for being so gentle and precise with my blood draw; I know what a difficult stick I can be - You nailed it on the first shock. Doctor was truly polite and a gentleman. Thank you for being so decent to me. I think its safe to mention - I am a Physician, as well - its not often that one receives top shelf care from another Physician. Highly recommend this place. Easy in and out access with very friendly team of folks who care about what they are doing.

I've came in here a few times on the weekends and the staff is great . The only reason I gave a 4 star versus a 5 is the WAIT TIME. I understand it's walk in but I don't think it's fair to the Doctor and the patients to wait longer than an hour with pediatric patients. I've seen the young lady in the front desk get yelled at because of the wait time and I commend her for being so professional and updating the patients in the waiting room on wait time. Overall as for staff AMAZING. But wait time ? One provider? Not cool .

OMG WHAT A SH*T SHOW! The service is terrible across both the Hewlett and Cedarhurst location. I…read morewent to the hewlett location for a workers comp injury and was advised that the X-ray tech would be in between 6:30pm and 7pm. After waiting until 7:30pm, I was told that I would have to go to the cedarhurst location for X-rays. . I mean talk about incompetency. I was seen by the provider who couldn't tell me anything unless X-rays are done so why waste my time seeing me ??? To transfer me to another location ? Nevertheless, I went to the cedarhurst location and the front desk staff was clueless as to why I was there ‍. I stood and explained why I was there and they decided (?) to see me. While waiting in the waiting room, at exactly 7:40pm, the front desk turn off the lights in their area and the tv in the waiting room because they were not accepting anymore patients . It gets better at 8pm, all the front desk staff was gone while there were atleast 3 other patients waiting in the waiting room. My mind was blown. Literally! I am not sure whose doing the hiring process or what they are trying to achieve but it's sure not patient satisfaction. Who manages these office ?! I manage a dermatology practice and if this is how my staff was, I would've been fired by now.

People shouldn't join healthcare if you don't want to deal with people. Just so the front desk lady can identify me - I arrived at 12:49 pm on Sat 9/05/2020 and left at 1:22pm. I arrived to an EMPTY waiting room (1person there had already signed in) -let that sink in before saying she was overwhelmed/stressed. I can take a guess why the waiting room was empty too and it's nothing to do with COVID. She's the most awful receptionist you will ever meet and it is very obvious she doesn't want to be there. Maybe she's an RN and didn't want to be at the front desk? Maybe she was tired? ‍ Maybe she didn't have coffee yet? That lady was colder than the ice queen. I tried to be as nice as possible but after my visit I asked for instructions on how to get my results and she told me "there's instructions on the paper-just take one"..... all fine and good- we should all have the reading thing down since Elementary right? Right! For clarification purposes cause, plus the paper says give receptionist your email --- I had the audacity to ask her a question "so can I just have the results emailed to me since I already gave you my phone number?"..... to this the lovely wonderful and truly peachy lady replied "JUST DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE PAPER" and proceeded with her internet entertainment. I'll leave you to interpret her tone. Let me say tho ... the nurses inside was NICE with just GREAT bedside manners. Since COVID even if I had a bad experience anywhere I refuse to write a negative review. But this lady made me write my 1st negative review of 2020 .....I get that everyone is still coming to terms with the new normal Covid brought. But the healthcare industry is different: 1. They don't have to furlough 2. They don't have to lay off 3. They don't have to do pay cuts 4. They don't have to close down 30-50 yr old establishments .... .... business is booming in healthcare. In the beginning doctors and nurses were overworked and in some cases still are. But it was an EMPTY waiting room

I have elected to leave the Joseph P Addabbo Family Health Center practice due to the…read moreorganizations archaic and demeaning intake procedures. I have been a patient of theirs since 10/4/23. During this time, the organization has collected countless records about my private insurance provider, as well as my personal information. I receive regular e mail updates about my diagnostic tests, and am contacted ad-nauseam about upcoming appointments, etc. That said, it is clear that The Joseph P Addabbo Family Health Center has an impressive amount of information about me contained in its database. Despite this, I am asked to complete a FULL intake form EACH AND EVERY time I come to their offices for routine visits. Today, when I asked why I was being tasked with completing this process yet again, an employee simply replied: "Everyone does it..." Needless to say, this process has become tedious, insulting, and curiously archaic in today's digital age. Additionally, I have genuine concerns about the security of my personal health records when they must be re-input with every visit. I am DONE. I'll find another provider who will happily take my business, and treat me like a valued customer in the process. I'm smiling right now as I say: "See ya- Addabbo!"

I've been a patient I want to say since moving to NYC 2012. My son was born and around 3yo we'd take him to see pediatrician and asthma specialist. It's absolutely horrible the issue isn't the Drs its the front desk and the supervisor. December 17, 2024 I tried to do a walk in was turned away but they scheduled my son for the next day December 18, 2024 for 8:30 am. Before leaving I specifically had them clarify that 8:30am was set for they next day and the receptionist said yes. The next morning Caroline, Carolyn or Carol from the front desk decided to call me 10 minutes before our appointment to say the appointment was cancelled. I just opened my front door to leave for our appointment. This is highly unacceptable and added the attitude she gave on the phone was worse so yes it was reciprocated. She proceeded to tell me that I can go to Guy Brewer but I needed to speak to my son's pediatrician which would not be at the Guy Brewer location. I told them I'm coming to the Sutphin building because I wanted to speak to the supervisor. I walk into building here is Caroline or Carol being nasty and arrogant. I made it clear I wanted to personally speak to the supervisor. She keeps arguing walks off running her mouth and now the supervisor comes out with an attitude. She acted unprofessional and dressed very unkemp for a supervisor I'm still unsure of what her title was! Her tone was unnecessary and it took everything in me to not show my son my true side because I never tolerate disrespect from anyone. She was very rude and loud wouldn't let me get a word in. She kept saying we accommodated you which they didn't because you don't just choose a location you ask the patient if they agree if it doesn't work out you figure out something else. Added the Guy Brewer is far from my location and i l have my young child with me. They kept saying the DR was sick which is fine the issue is you called me 5-10 minutes before I get to the location and you scheduled me for the appointment the day before. I didn't ask to be rescheduled you inconvenienced us the first time and tried to fix it but messed up a second time. Dr sick or not they refused to give us a letter saying the appointment was cancelled. Nevertheless I kept asking if they can reschedule us with a different Dr at Sutphin location she kept getting nasty and arrogant. The worse part was her walking off during conversation while I was sitting down engaging with her and making snarky comments loud in front of everyone. As I walked off I made it clear I will get this taken care of because I will they may have the last word but I will be contacting a few people. After a few years changes have to be made within that clinic. This clinic has been in the South Jamaica area since before my son was born and the fact that they treat their patients as such for so many years and still open is unbelievable. I will be contacting the New York Department of Health and the BBB and so on. I ask anyone who has experienced a bad experience to do the same because if we remain silent they'll continue with poor service to our community. To Dr Luis Valesques thank you for all your service we will miss seeing you at the clinic.
