It is set back in the parking lot so it is hard to tell if it is open or not if you are just driving by I saw the PA. After hearing my concerns she examinee my nose. She was unsure it it was true sinus or a dermatlogy issue so She recommended some hot/cold compresses and also rx me an antibiotics if it doesnt improve for me to go to the ER. And they called me the next day as a follow up. This has been like all my previous visits highly recommended!

Went to North Shore Medicle Group for an Orthopedic Surgeon consult…read more I had a 2:00 appointment. I was told to come early to fill out paperwork and such. The front staff were very friendly and helpful. The negative part right away was that I was told that the doctor was running behind and he was overbooked?????????. I did not get called into a room until 3:15 which is totally unexceptable. Once in the room a nurse came in took my blood pressure then said a pa would be right in. Pa took background info and was very nice and very friendly. She said I needed x-rays and at that point took me down the hall for x-rays. By the time I was done with that it was almost 3:45 at which time the doctor finally came in. He seemed nice and was very friendly. He looked at my mri's and x-rays and then said i was not a surgical candidate and gave me a referral to a near surgeon. I waited for almost 2 hours for a doctor to tel me he could not help me and spent all of 3 minutes int he room with me. I do not know what sort of surgeon he is but the office really needs to step up there game as there should be no overbooking ever and no customer should have to wait over an hour to be seen.

I understand it's walk in but I don't think it's fair to the Doctor and the patients to wait longer than an hour with pediatric patients. I've seen the young lady in the front desk get yelled at because of the wait time and I commend her for being so professional and updating the patients in the waiting room on wait time. I spoke to Jenna who was pleasant and knowledgeable. She confirmed they took my insurance and gave me the hours of operation. She told me I could walk in or make an appointment online. After work, I headed there. Jenna greeted me, checked me in and gave me new patient paperwork. The medical assistant who took me into the exam room was friendly and efficient (I'm sorry I have forgotten her name!). When the doctor Paula arrived, the impeccable professional service continued. She listened to my symptoms, examined me and diagnosed me with a nasty sinus infection. Paula prescribed medication and sent the script to my pharmacy. It's now a week later and I am definitely feeling much better! When you're not feeling well the last thing you want is to deal with another headache. This experience was great, all things considering. I would not hesitate to visit again if I need urgent care services.

I was seen by the provider who couldn't tell me anything unless X-rays are done so why waste my time seeing me ??? To transfer me to another location ? Nevertheless, I went to the cedarhurst location and the front desk staff was clueless as to why I was there ‍. I stood and explained why I was there and they decided (?) to see me. While waiting in the waiting room, at exactly 7:40pm, the front desk turn off the lights in their area and the tv in the waiting room because they were not accepting anymore patients . It gets better at 8pm, all the front desk staff was gone while there were atleast 3 other patients waiting in the waiting room. My mind was blown. Literally! I am not sure whose doing the hiring process or what they are trying to achieve but it's sure not patient satisfaction. Who manages these office ?! I made several calls and arranged for my son to see the OTHER dentist on duty on Thursdays. During this time, the organization has collected countless records about my private insurance provider, as well as my personal information. I receive regular e mail updates about my diagnostic tests, and am contacted ad-nauseam about upcoming appointments, etc. That said, it is clear that The Joseph P Addabbo Family Health Center has an impressive amount of information about me contained in its database. Despite this, I am asked to complete a FULL intake form EACH AND EVERY time I come to their offices for routine visits. Today, when I asked why I was being tasked with completing this process yet again, an employee simply replied: "Everyone does it..." Needless to say, this process has become tedious, insulting, and curiously archaic in today's digital age. Additionally, I have genuine concerns about the security of my personal health records when they must be re-input with every visit. I am DONE.
