RUN AWAY: Rude, Unprofessional, and Disorganized…read more Even giving one star feels generous. Phone calls go unanswered, and the front desk is consistently rude and unprofessional. They hang up in the middle of conversations or put you on hold without warning--only to never return. Only one staff member was decent; the rest, including the doctor, showed zero respect or accountability. They treat cancellations and delays like it's no big deal and speak to patients with a condescending attitude. They scheduled me with a doctor who was on leave, then told me to come back the next week--only to find out the doctor was on vacation. Then they said the appointment was booked by mistake again. When I called to complain, I was told it wasn't their responsibility, and the call was abruptly ended. It took me three weeks to complete a single checkup. I came hoping to establish a primary care provider. I left with nothing but frustration and wasted time. Save yourself the trouble--go somewhere else.

Didn't experience any mistreatment by any of the staff. Since this was my first visit, Dr. Park asked me if I had any pre-existing conditions. I responded "Nothing physically." "'Nothing physically'?" she asked. At this point, I lowered my head and muttered that I had Depression. She smiled and told me it was OK, and I had nothing to be ashamed of. I don't mean to sound corny, but it's little gestures like that which can completely change my perception of a person. All in all, I was in and out within about an hour. I don't mind going back.

They have a lab next door as well as downstairs. They also offer free parking. Now I won't lie - depending on what time you go the wait time can be HORRENDOUS but I've seen enough crappy doctors that I wouldn't mind sitting through hell if I had to just to see Dr. Maslavi. Love his staff too because they have a laid back atmosphere and make you feel at home in my opinion. These reviews surprised me and I didn't want anyone to become deterred. Appreciate you all! xoxo

Avoid this place at all costs!!! I don't really have much to…read moresay about Dr. Maslavi as I have never actually been seen by him other than meeting him even though he was my primary care doctore; It's always been his assistant that has checked on me. I came in one day to get tested for oral herpes because although I didn't have enough evidence to say what it was, I still wanted to be safe and get it checked out. With my insurance, co-pay of $15 is required for every visit so I went through that and saw the assistant, I can't remember her name but she has blonde hair from what I remember. So she checks me out, is super rough with my lips and tells me it's herpes without any further testing. I ask for more testing a couple of times and she tells me it's not needed and recommends me products to purchase. I left feeling emotionally distraught because they didn't do any testing and although the co-pay was cheap, it felt unnecessary. I went back in and demanded for testing and after seeing how emotionally distraught I was, was when she let me get testing. Guess what? Testing came back negative and the bump was actually a mucocele. Not only that but I received another co-pay in the mail. Again I don't know much about Maslavi but his assistant was super unprofessional in this case and caused me to no longer have him as my PCP.

I accompanied my partner to this office in June, 2025. Upon entering the waiting room, we were…read moregreeted by a dog running up to us and angrily barking at us. The receptionist removed the dog. Surprised, I asked why she'd brought her dog to work, she said it wasn't her dog- that she'd never bring a dog to the office. I sensed that she wasn't happy about being responsible for the animal. l'd give this "doctor" a neg.10 if it were an option! He ignored serious symptoms my partner has been having. Some VERY serious symptoms in the past 3 months. Complaints of extremely low energy, weakness and pain in arms, loss of dexterity in right hand, elbows shoulders, lower spine, right side, legs, frequent (every 2 hours) urination, hearing loss, were all ignored even when I pointed out that many of these symptoms are associated with some serious diseases! For several years he has had severe subcutaneous hemorrhaging and bruising all along his forearms from the slightest impact. Markings so black, blue, and purple, that at first glance look like Rorschach tattoos and don't go away! My partner sees Koo 3-4x/year for routine health checks. How could he have missed the bruising on his arms? Koo's response was to prescribe prednisone for inflammation. When I asked about referral for further evaluation i.e. MRI, kidney function test? other tests? even asked if PT could help with weakness arms. legs, etc. Koo wrote "PT" on a prescription pad! Not even a referral for bloodwork! The response was a smile, a comment that I am a "tough lady" aka difficult! On July 14, 2025, my partner collapsed and was rushed to Montefiore Nyack Hospital, where he remained for 11 days having been diagnosed with multiple myeloma!! Hallmark sign: elevated Ca in the blood!~ And that bruising/subcutaneous hemorrhaging, btw, is a symptom of multiple myeloma as well! Koo missed all the hallmarks! And he never followed up with a phone call to see how his patient of 20+ years was feeling! My partner has had radiation therapy, is now in a nursing rehab facility. He is extremely weak and will be receiving chemotherapy weekly for at least a year if not longer. I can't help but think that symptoms didn'thave to get this severe. Had this been picked up a year or two ago or even a few months ago, he wouldn't have gotten as weak and as ill as he is now! I wouldn't recommend this "doctor" to anyone-not even for a common cold!

Still one of the best Family doctors around! Not certain why…read moreG.L. is giving such a bad review, but judging by the lack of reviews, and friends and no photo, you can dismiss it.

I started driving a school bus in 1991, straight trucks 1992, and then big riggs I'm 1996. Ihave visited Canada and all of the United States, accept for Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Just a little history on why I have a CDL! Back to the review, lol! My first time at this particular CMD was maybe 2020. I wish I could say that all City MD's are the same but reviews will vary. Walking inside the facility I found it emaculate and everything was in its place. The ladies at the front desk was very cordial but the worker that came from the back was very rude. She interrupted us while we conversing. Other than that everything else was fine. I didn't remember that there was a parking lot in the back so I paid for two hours on the street and then moved to the parking lot. The rational for street parking is because I had to drop a friend off at the Asthma clinic and I walked to the CMD. So I did the physical and all went well I also brought papers to get a blood pressure monitor. Finally I did her X-rays on my finger because my finger was slammed in my car door when I got out. Well! How'd you slam your finger in your own car door, one might ask? Well I was distracted, okay, okay. Okay, I wasn't minding my business. I like to observe my surroundings for my safety. Well, I guess I'll chalk up scanning my environment for safety, it didn't work well. SMH! The other staff and doctor that I dealt with provided compassionate care and kept me informed. It was a good visit. Doctor Lee gave me my results on the X-ray. All is well with the finger just tender to touch, Doc says take Tylenol and ice. (Since you don't know me, I did it). I immediately replied, Trump said don't take Tylenol, he looked at me turned around and walked out of the room. I need to resist opportunities for joking when they arise. ‍ Oh well! I'm out!

She refused to recommend an electrolyte drink or OTC solution when I asked for something with little to no potassium without pee and blood tests first....be real people can't throw money around on expensive tests because they are thirsty! Unlike another commentor I did find Maria at the front desk to be organized and friendly, just totally wrong with her information later on, and deaf to reason or logic. She actually warned me on the phone that I may not get the Dr to order an MRI which was correct and ok, but seeing I had several maladies I decided to go anyway to at least get referred. I desperately need this MRI as comparison for court because of an assault that occurred making my torn labrum worse. My proof could evaporate with time. I will even just pay out of pocket for it right now without insurance! The Dr did xrays negative at clinic. She says "next step mri" I thought she might order it. She has Maria get me a referral (Fri) for an orthopedic hip surgeon for Monday, pretty quick. I was impressed. I spent months finding in network providers through Anthem and my Health Advocates, how did she do this so fast? Few hours later I thought this is not right, google search. That's when I decide to call that doctor because he does not exist on the internet!!!! Or on Anthem's site. He is NOT an orthopedic hip surgeon he is a Pain Management doctor. Pain Management must be prescribed with my insurance, but I don't need that, I need a comparative MRI and surgery consultation. And I need it now!! For court!! For pain!! Before more damage is done with incorrect healing. You can't bring a pain management doctor to court. Maria says this is the process to see someone else first to get yet another referral for a surgeon. Why am I seeing 2 doctors? I need a Hip Surgeon Expert for court not a pain management dropout. If my lights don't work, I don't call a General Contractor or a Plumber to fix my electric and pay them for an unnecessary visit....I call an Electrician! If there is a chance for possible surgery, you see a surgeon. Then the surgeon will recommend pain management and or rehab. I did 4 MRIs, 1 CT and 3 Xray last year with various providers all direct to specialist with no middle doctor or PCP. All in less than a week I had scans. Totally overlooked my cold symptoms or manage to prescribe antibiotics. Summit health phone systems are the worst outsourced waste of time. You can never talk to an office directly.
