I have been bringing my son to this pediatric since he was born and he is now 15 years old. Dr. Yang is absolutely lovely, very thorough and friendly with her patients. She always goes all results and makes my son feel very comfortable. It is usually very easy to get an appointment and the wait time is only 10-15 minutes. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The office could use a bit of an upgrade but overall it's always clean. read more

Dr. Park has been my daughter's pediatrician since she was born, 12 years ago and we have been with him since. I travel all of the way from southeast Queens to Bayside for care from my daughter. My daughter was a micro-preemie, weighing just 1lb and 9 oz at birth, now we joke because she out grown Dr. Park. I would highly recommend the Dr. and all of his staff, as they are professional, courteous and we are always treated well. I did not want to post this as the pediatrician was very good. On January 28th, I took my newborn to Bayside Pediatrics. Since my son was not under my insurance yet, Bayside Pediatrics asked me to pay $100 first (and if they submit a claim and I do not owe anything, then they will refund me). Fast forward four months later on May 31st; - My son was added to my insurance within a week of birth - I see the claim was submitted on April 26th and my insurance processed the claim on April 28th - A check was issued to Bayside Pediatrics on May 6th - I have been getting the runaround each time I have called Bayside Pediatrics as I question why they havent submitted a claim yet and constantly telling me front desk needs to talk to billing to issue the refund. Even after taking down my Zelle info saying they would send me the money in a few days and also stating they would write me a check and call me to pick up the check. Neither of this has happened. read more

This review is for Dr. Yohan Park and his staff. We have been using their services since moving out from California where we had an amazing peditrician that cared my daughter since she was born. As you can imagine, we had reservations and high expections for our next pediatrician. Dr. Park and his team meet our expectations. They have great bedside manners and understand how to address important topics such as weight, healthy eating, and academics in a manner that is receptive to children. We went during covid and they made sure that waiting area observed social distancing and we felt very safe. Would highly recommend this office to others. read more

IMy son (18mo) sees Dr. Yohan (pediatrician) while my husband & I see Dr. Jia Park (family dr). The office usually has 2 or 3 other patients waiting. Side note: I tend to show up early for appointments (etiquette & also hoping to start on time and end earlier), but usually it backfires and I end up waiting an extra 30 minutes......Just show up exactly on time! ;) The office is busy, but most of the staff is helpful and I like my experience with both doctors. I'm especially happy with Dr. Jia Park. =) Parking can be hit or miss so my husband usually drops us off and comes in later after he's found parking. I called when my son had a fever and we were scheduled for a sick visit that afternoon. Dr. Yohan Park is also patient and nice (although he's rushed at times because its so busy). I like that I have the option to email him because earlier in the year, when I was traveling to Germany , my son got sick and I was able to email to ask for advice (although I did end up going to the local pediatrician there too). All in all I'm happy with my experience. read more

My experience has been pretty good with Dr. Park and the office. We have been seeing him since my daughter was born this year. He came to visit us at the hospital the first few days and really put me at ease as a first time mom. I was a little concerned that Dr. Park is the only pediatrician in the office and that I would have a hard time making appointments or maybe even an opinion but so far no issues have come up. There are usually 2-3 families in the waiting room each time we come. We never have to wait more than 15 mins for our appointments and we always get available times that work for our family. Dr. Park never makes us feel rushed and always asks if we have questions and takes time to listen to our concerns. Our baby has had to come in for several vaccinations so far and they are always very quick and after a minute of crying she is happy again. The only downside would be the parking situation since they are located near Bell Blvd. There are 2 or 3 designated spots in front of the office so sometimes you get lucky to pull in just as someone else is leaving. read more

Great pediatrician with great staff! Dr. Park usually has an answer for anything and everything. I'm one of those crazy anxious parents with a million questions. He's always so patient and answers every one of my crazy ones with a lot of patience. I never feel like I'm being rushed out. You don't ever want to feel like your doctor doesn't have time for you. He's very patient and isn't bothered by the groups of kids crying or screaming, especially mine who always scream and tear that office to pieces at every visit. (Sorry, Dr.Park.) Since he is a great pediatrician an so in demand, the office tends to get filled up pretty quick, especially during evening and Saturdays. I always go during a weekday in the middle of the day and it's usually their least busiest time. The staff is ALWAYS so friendly and accommodating, even at their busiest; they've always squeezed me in at the last minute whenever one of my kids was sick. And I gotta say, Dr. P himself is very gentle with the needle so my kids aren't traumatized! Loads more to say, but can't say enough about how great of a doctor he is and how great his practice is set up! Just go there and find out for yourself! I left out one star b/c parking is a little difficult during certain days, but the neighborhood is difficult (Bayside, one block off of Bell Blvd.) in general. That's not his fault. LOL read more

There are two doctors here. Brother and sister team. Dr Park, the sister family doctor, see me once a year for annual checkup. She is very detailed and patience. Good traits for a family doctor. read more

Dr. Park really is as good as it gets when it comes to Pediatric doctors. He is great with the kids and really knows what he is doing. The staff there is always very accommodating even when we drop by without an appointment (you can't predict when your kid is going to get sick) they never give us any attitude, instead they always show concern and do their best to get us in to see Dr. Park ASAP. My poor kids had to get some immunizations and the flu shot they were not happy! But Dr. Park got it done nice and quick, yes there was some shouting, screaming, and crying but Dr. Park had it all under control. When you bring your children to a Pediatrician you are really putting a lot of trust in that person, IMO Dr. Park is worthy of that trust. read more

I have stopped bringing my kids here. My first experience was bad, the next no better. Parking again was tough to find and muni-meter once found. My kids were not called back until 45 minutes past appointment time, with no apology or explaination, and again had to split one 15 minute appointment between the two of them. The medical assistant offered lollipops and stickers to my toddlers to get them to behave, saying tgey would get them at the end of their appointment. He never gave them anything (and my kids remembered, so not only were they cranky over shots but over false promises). The Dr advised I should stop breastfeeding for no reason other than risk of tooth decay (an issue that in the history of humanity has never occured. Bottles can cause tooth decay but actual breastfeeding does not cause milk pooling and therefore no decay issues - something a Dr should know!) Overall just not a friendly, comfortable or reassuring practice. read more

Jia Park is a disgrace to comprehensive medical practice. I went in for a basic blood test, nothing that would require much time, knowledge, or effort. She managed to fail at performing the simplest task. To begin, she was unable to locate a single vein in my forearm so she consequently gave up and decided to go to my wrist (already unimpressive). She inserts the needle, but was unable to draw blood so she repeatedly stuck the needle in random places in my wrist. It was excruciatingly painful I made her very aware of that but she did not address it. She then went to the opposite arm and wrist but was still unable to draw blood (or locate blood for that matter). She gave up. She did not perform a proper blood test and blamed me, the patient, for not having a sufficient vein. My experience at Jia Park's office was humiliating and overall has degraded my view of the practice of medicine. Her lacking abilities are insulting to not only medicinal practice but her patients as well. Strongly urge that any patient considering a visit to her office should find a different medical professional. read more

Dr. Park is very nice and is very careful with his examinations. He is very detailed in explaining his diagnosis to parents. Other doctors are not as thorough or as nice to their patients. I find his treatments exceptional. You can tell he is a very good doctor by the number of patients at his waiting room. Most children are scared of doctors but my son is very comfortable with Dr. Park. He always makes interesting conversation with my son to put him at ease and also to give him helpful advice. read more
