Now if I could give zero stars I would. After a few more terrible visits where I went to this provider asking for help, mo concerns were dismissed and I kept being told to go to a psychiatrist. I know I have medical PTSD and I've had it for more than a decade. It is under control the best it is as long as doctors don't trigger it. No matter what I went in for, the answer was to see a psychiatrist. The last straw was me going in for a torn bicep tendon (which I had confirmed from another doctor who wasn't a complete hack) and she told me to take B complex and see a psychiatrist. Im sorry but what the F. So I left and posted a 1 star review on Google. The office called me right away and demanded I remove it. I said no. Now, if you go on the practices Google page, my review is not there. They removed it. All you can find on their page is 5 star reviews down the line and 2 one star which they have replied to. Surprised, I asked why she'd brought her dog to work, she said it wasn't her dog- that she'd never bring a dog to the office. I sensed that she wasn't happy about being responsible for the animal. l'd give this "doctor" a neg.10 if it were an option! He ignored serious symptoms my partner has been having. Some VERY serious symptoms in the past 3 months. Complaints of extremely low energy, weakness and pain in arms, loss of dexterity in right hand, elbows shoulders, lower spine, right side, legs, frequent (every 2 hours) urination, hearing loss, were all ignored even when I pointed out that many of these symptoms are associated with some serious diseases! For several years he has had severe subcutaneous hemorrhaging and bruising all along his forearms from the slightest impact. Markings so black, blue,and purple, that at first glance look like Rorschach tattoos and don't go away! My partner sees Koo 3-4x/year for routine health checks. How could he have missed the bruising on his arms? Koo's response was to prescribe prednisone for inflammation. When I asked about referral for further evaluation i.e. MRI, kidney function test? other tests? even asked if PT could help with weakness arms. legs, etc. Koo wrote "PT" on a prescription pad! Not even a referral for bloodwork! The response was a smile, a comment that I am a "tough lady" aka difficult! On July 14, 2025, my partner collapsed and was rushed to Montefiore Nyack Hospital, where he remained for 11 days having been diagnosed with multiple myeloma!! Hallmark sign: elevated Ca in the blood!~ And that bruising/subcutaneous hemorrhaging, btw, is a symptom of multiple myeloma as well! Koo missed all the hallmarks! And he never followed up with a phone call to see how his patient of 20+ years was feeling! My partner has had radiation therapy, is now in a nursing rehab facility. He is extremely weak and will be receiving chemotherapy weekly for at least a year if not longer. I can't help but think that symptoms didn'thave to get this severe. Had this been picked up a year or two ago or even a few months ago, he wouldn't have gotten as weak and as ill as he is now! I wouldn't recommend this "doctor" to anyone-not even for a common cold!

I'd like you to know that I've never received PT before and I've never been in a PT office. I've been coming here to receive physical therapy for a few weeks from Dr. Patrick. It's been a painful experience but I'm feeling much better (glad that it's over!). I've asked him so many questions during my treatment and he patiently answered every one of them. The staff have a great personality and they're very pleasant. I highly recommend getting your PT done here. Everyone here speaks English so don't worry if you see a lot of Korean elderly patients in the waiting room. The location is on the second floor of the plaza and you'll find parking through the Sanford Ave. entrance. Just the elevators and go up to the second floor (or use the stairs). As soon as you exit the elevators, the office will be right in front of you (to the left). It's a small physical therapy office. The rooms are small and have two beds in each that are separated by curtains. The rooms are separated by wall partitions. You might hear other patients but it didn't really bother me. What I like about this place besides the treatment I've received and the staff is that I was able to do walk ins or I would call to find out if they were busy or not. If they weren't, I would just drive over there since I only lived about 15 minutes away. They seem to be very busy during Wednesdays by the way. If you're like me, just avoid visiting on a Wednesday! It's best if you visit before 4pm. However, the best time for me seemed to be 3-3:30pm. During the last session I've had here at KOAM, they seem to be replacing their old gowns with a thick robe-like gown. Just make sure that the open side is towards the back. Thanks again, KOAM PT!
