I came here due to a change in my medical insurance and from a referral from a friend and have not regretted it. Whether you have a standing appointment or need to come in for immediate care, you will be accommodated and well taken care of. Dr. Kobren and the group here are part of NYU Langone Medical and they are well equipped to handle your PCP needs. They also do great with cardiac care. Their equipment is top notch and most of the testing you need for basic, non-emergency care can be handled right on the building. They share the floor with dentists Drs. Lawrence Kobren and Michael Greenbaum and the shared waiting area has been completely renovated and remodeled not too long ago. It is very attractive and clean and can accommodate plenty of patients. You can also watch a little TV to make your wait time pass a little quicker and more enjoyably.

I came in as a walk-in and he managed to squeeze me in on his busy day, his front staff was great too. Doctor Kobren went above and beyond to find a solution to my problem and that's shows a lot about his character and not mention he is one of the best doctors I have been to.

The kind of care & attention that I received from Dr.Pascaru was second to none. When I first saw the Dr. My cholesterol was crazy high, my blood pressure was also through the roof. I took her advice & took a Calcium Cardiac Score Test to check if I have any calcium deposits built up in my arteries, The results showed that some build up had already started. Dr. Pascaru took the time to explain what all this meant & how it would effect me going forward if I didn't make some serious changes in my life. Her concern helped me find the will power I needed to make these changes. I completely changed my life around. I now eat a Paleo diet & exercise regularly. I used to be on a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea but because I lost so much weight I no longer have a snoring problem. My cholesterol has come down sharply & so has my high blood pressure. I'm so happy Dr. Pascaru told me what I needed to hear those first few sessions because it scared me into a healthier lifestyle so I can be around for my family. Thank you again Dr. Pascaru

I'v been his patient for numerous years, his diagnosis have always been spot on. He also has the rather unusual habit of running his office in an amazingly punctual way. Just started with Dr. Rosenberg since late last year. This office is the traditional setup where…read morethe Dr will listen and talk to you. They do not book appts on top of each other where the Dr spare you mere seconds or pass you off to their PA(s). I've only been here 2 x so far and Dr. Rosenberg have been very attentative. The staff ( person that draws blood/ekg, etc) were different both time so this a negative if they are constantly changing staff. The one challenge with this office is no one answers the phone. you must leave a message for a call back. But in order ot leave message, you must listen through a very looooong recorded message where they run thru all of the options "true emergency" "ambulance number" "oncall doctor number", etc. etc. The leave a message option is alllllllll the way at the end of the recording. This becomes a huge problem where you have to sit on the phone. Frankly it is very time consuming to even have to make a call these days or play phone tags. Most dr office have email address where you can simply email. here is is fax or snailmail. Hope email option can be implemented soon. Appts can be made thru zocdoc so this is helpful!

After nearly 25 years as loyal patients at this practice, we will never return…read more During a recent visit to evaluate my elderly father's high blood pressure medication, the doctor flippantly told us to stop his medication entirely and literally laughed off our concerns. Knowing the risks of abruptly stopping blood pressure medicine, I consulted our pharmacist, who confirmed that stopping cold turkey without a safe transition plan is dangerous and carries severe adverse risks. When I called the doctor back to report the pharmacist's warnings, instead of conducting a proper medical evaluation, he casually said to "just cut the pill in half." Treating a senior citizen's cardiovascular health with flippant guesswork is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, my father's home health care aide--who was present in the office during the call--overheard the front desk staff mocking me, laughing, and asking, "Who does she think she is?" I am my father's advocate--that is who I am. Unsafe prescribing practices, zero respect for long-term patients, and a hostile, unprofessional office environment make this practice unsafe for elderly patients. Families looking for proper geriatric care should look elsewhere.
