Both times were had our own room for 2 nights, the 2nd time we opted for only 1 night since we were experienced parents. I remember the first time, the staff would teach you how to properly hold, swaddle, and change a baby. And if you were too scared which we were they'll do it as many times for you until you felt comfortable. I dont plan to have a 3rd child, but if I did, this would definitely be the hospital to go to without a doubt. Great care overall.

Meanwhile, the staff is friendly and very accommodating for waiting patients. Marius Leon Pessah, MD is my primary physician at this location. I have been incredibly pleased with my experiences with the doctor. He treats you with professionalism and care. Although the doctor does have a busy practice, I have been always able to schedule an appointment easily and I have received a response to any questions often the same day that I had called. I came here due to a change in my medical insurance and from a referral from a friend and have not regretted it. Whether you have a standing appointment or need to come in for immediate care, you will be accommodated and well taken care of. Dr. Kobren and the group here are part of NYU Langone Medical and they are well equipped to handle your PCP needs. They also do great with cardiac care. Their equipment is top notch and most of the testing you need for basic, non-emergency care can be handled right on the building. They share the floor with dentists Drs. Lawrence Kobren and Michael Greenbaum and the shared waiting area has been completely renovated and remodeled not too long ago. It is very attractive and clean and can accommodate plenty of patients. You can also watch a little TV to make your wait time pass a little quicker and more enjoyably.

My visit experience had significant improvement. I said, why not give a review this time. I believe there were changes in the staff, current staff is more accommodating and friendlier. One thing that really just bothers me is how on earth they over booked patients - minimum wait time before can be seen for any test is about one hour and half, lucky to be called in an hour. The doctor schedule is really tight and while am already waiting in the test room, I know other patients were in the other rooms waiting for her as well. I love Dr Walia even during my first visit. She is sincere, professional and happy to be with. She clearly explains for sure to any of her patients what's happening and what needs to be done for wellness. The office and it's test rooms has unique and fashionably style decorations, has modern informative materials, updated test equipments and high technology system. But the part that truly floored me -- the part that still has me shaking my head -- was hearing a cardiologist in 2025 tell me he "doesn't think POTS is real." Read that again. A heart doctor, in the year 2025, claimed that POTS -- a condition recognized by every major medical institution in the world -- isn't real. This is a condition validated by: * The American Heart Association * NIH * Cleveland Clinic * Mayo Clinic * Johns Hopkins * Stanford Medicine * Vanderbilt Autonomic Center * And literally decades of peer-reviewed research For a cardiologist to deny the existence of a thoroughly documented autonomic disorder is beyond outdated -- it's reckless. It signals a terrifying lack of continued education. It also explains exactly why he provided zero guidance, zero referrals, zero effort, and frankly zero care.
