Whether you have a standing appointment or need to come in for immediate care, you will be accommodated and well taken care of. Dr. Kobren and the group here are part of NYU Langone Medical and they are well equipped to handle your PCP needs. They also do great with cardiac care. Their equipment is top notch and most of the testing you need for basic, non-emergency care can be handled right on the building. They share the floor with dentists Drs. Lawrence Kobren and Michael Greenbaum and the shared waiting area has been completely renovated and remodeled not too long ago. It is very attractive and clean and can accommodate plenty of patients. You can also watch a little TV to make your wait time pass a little quicker and more enjoyably.

I got called in and the nurse Rakel, I hope I'm spelling her name right, was a sweet heart (no pun intended ), I told her I was scared of needles and she went out and got a smaller needle to take blood without me even asking her, she has very soft precise hands, one poke she got the vein and done. Doctor Somekh arrived shortly after and talked to me for a long time, not only did he ask me what was going on but he also asked me about my life style, like I said thorough, was very polite, his bed side manner is on point. I'm scheduled for a few more tests in the future. I'm confident we are going to get to the bottom of what is going on. Everything in Doctor Somekh's office is welcoming, the front desk ladies are so polite and friendly and the nurses are sooooooooo sweet and friendly! I left the doctors office feeling confident. PS: next to his office there is another office (it has nothing to do with Doctor Somekh) the Nurse/front desk or whatever she is.... She is like a troll that lives under the bridge! From the moment we got there she had her face scrunched up like she was sucking on a lime and had a stick lodged sideways up her butt. The kind of care & attention that I received from Dr.Pascaru was second to none. When I first saw the Dr. My cholesterol was crazy high, my blood pressure was also through the roof. I took her advice & took a Calcium Cardiac Score Test to check if I have any calcium deposits built up in my arteries, The results showed that some build up had already started. Dr. Pascaru took the time to explain what all this meant & how it would effect me going forward if I didn't make some serious changes in my life. (please see scooter posted). they have an elevator lift and told me that all wheelchairs and scooter patients are accessible to using it. they caed to confirm my appointment for 10/6/22 & i wanted to be reassured that their examination room would accommodate my scooter that is posted .. they didn't really reassure me, but i confirmed my appointment. approximately 2 minutes later the office manager norma calls me back and cancels me back and all of a sudden tells me thst that my scooter is not permitted on the elevator lift. i have to leave my scooter in the driveway. i refused to do so considering i have difficulty walking. my scooter was in their office 1 week prior for my son's appointment and they allowed me to use the lift. bottom line, they considered me and my scooter a nusiance and troublesome and they did not want to treat me and that is discrimination. stay away from that doctor! they told
