I bring both my babies here (after a ton of research). We love Dr.Maryanna and Dr.Robson. Mostly kids hate going to the doctors, but my daughter's love coming here, because of the amazing staff, the amazing nurses, (especially the one with the purple hair, and shaved side) and the amazing doctors. All the drs, nurses, and PAs are great. We've been with Dr.Maryanna since the birth of my kids. She's been with me thru all my ups and downs as a new mom. She's thorough, she's understanding, she answers all my questions and concerns, and she doesn't rush me. Dr. Robson is also amazing. They helped me through my breastfeeding journey, even more than the breastfeeding consultant . I've also seen other drs when my babies were sick and they're all great. They are super understanding if I'm late because parking is a mess in the area. They're also super accommodating if my kids are sick. My babies leave with smiles (and stickers) even after getting their shots. They're also available on the phone 24/7 for those emergencies, or if your child gets sick after hours. They will stay my kid's drs throughout their pediatric years.

They have a lab next door as well as downstairs. They also offer free parking. Now I won't lie - depending on what time you go the wait time can be HORRENDOUS but I've seen enough crappy doctors that I wouldn't mind sitting through hell if I had to just to see Dr. Maslavi. I don't really have much to…read moresay about Dr. Maslavi as I have never actually been seen by him other than meeting him even though he was my primary care doctore; It's always been his assistant that has checked on me. I came in one day to get tested for oral herpes because although I didn't have enough evidence to say what it was, I still wanted to be safe and get it checked out. With my insurance, co-pay of $15 is required for every visit so I went through that and saw the assistant, I can't remember her name but she has blonde hair from what I remember. So she checks me out, is super rough with my lips and tells me it's herpes without any further testing. I ask for more testing a couple of times and she tells me it's not needed and recommends me products to purchase. I left feeling emotionally distraught because they didn't do any testing and although the co-pay was cheap, it felt unnecessary. I went back in and demanded for testing and after seeing how emotionally distraught I was, was when she let me get testing. Guess what? Testing came back negative and the bump was actually a mucocele. Not only that but I received another co-pay in the mail. Again I don't know much about Maslavi but his assistant was super unprofessional in this case and caused me to no longer have him as my PCP.

I prefer to go to his Bayside office, because it's closer to home and he has 2 parking spots available for patients right out front. Front desk is friendly and competent at scheduling doctor visits.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Charles. He's fantastic! He will sit with you and discuss…read moreany questions or issues you have, and he doesn't try to rush you through a visit, like most doctors I've seen. He helped me diagnose my food allergies and has been a huge help with any question I've brought him, and he actually listens and remembers his patients. Dr. Charles is also exceptional in that he won't just jump to prescription medicines to fix symptoms; he wants to find the root problem and treat that, instead of symptoms. He will also recommend herbal remedies and dietary changes when he thinks that will work better than prescription drugs, which is rare for western doctors. The whole staff is very kind, and as someone else mentioned, there is never a long wait. My husband and I both recommend Dr. Charles and his nurse practitioner very highly.
