Dr. Timothy Robinson earned 2 thumbs up with me. Today was my very first appointment with him and I was totally impressed. He was extremely thorough and compassionate. Dr. Robinson listens to what his patients has to say. If he doesn't seem to know an answer or isn't sure of an answer he looks it up and he will give you an answer to your question. He is very caring. Also, I expressed my concerns to him that I need a visiting nurse and health Aide and I explained why. I told him that my pain management doctor felt it was my primary doctors duty to help me with that because it was out of her jurisdiction. My OLD primary doctor since August, 2022 wouldn't help me with this either. Thank you Dr. Robinson for writing me out that referral for that visiting nurse. No return phone calls Never answer the phone besides that I needed medical clearance for an emergency eye surgery and they could care less.They wouldn't see me at all! Firstly, Dr. Robinson is a great doctor, if you EVER get to see him. The Physician Assistant by the name of Anne Marie is great. HOWEVER, this is a practice that teaches medical students. When I first came to this Dr, I never signed anything agreeing to this. The Receptionists are very dismissive if they even make eye contact. After waiting FOREVER, your name is called, then you wait 5-10 min in the room. Then a medical student plays Dr with you for 15 min, THEN the Physicians Assistant sees you and usually gives you your prescription if needed. Worst office I've ever been. I work in a doctor's office myself and this place is the worst. No heat for the patients during winter time, while the secretaries have portable heaters by their side. The wait is no less than an hour and a half. Majority of the people who see the patients are students. The doctor himself is not there to see you. If you're lucky then Ann Marie is a wonderful PA and Dr. Robinson is good too. It's seldom you see Dr. Robinson and Ann Marie. You'll get checked by students for most of your visit. Dr. Robinson is wonderful! He is a wonderful doctor and both I and my family including aunts,uncles,cousins, and even neighbors have been going to him for years. Unfortunately I do have to agree with JH., the service is horrible. I wait at least 2 hours to see him every visit. The only reason I continue to go to him is because I TRUST him as my doctor, and that is a big factor for me and my family. Besides the long waits, there is another huge downfall. Even calling the office is terrible. "She" answers the phone and says, "can you please wait" and doesn't even wait for your response. Rude! Next thing you know you are waiting a minimum of 2 minutes, and I've even waited a total of 7 mins on my cellphone! Are you kidding the best in the entier world!!!!??? Apparently, Dr. Robinson has a good following and there are plenty of patients for him to see.. I am not doubting that he is a good doctor... The service just stinks!! I have waited 3 hours to see him with an appointment... I arrived early and still had to wait. My appointment on a Wednesday afternoon at 3pm... I arrived at 2.15pm because I like to get appointments on time. Well I did not see Dr Robinson, I saw one of his juniors at 6pm... can you believe it!!!??? My review is for Dr. Timothy Robinson - not his office. He is a caring, intuitive, hard-working doctor and a very principled man. When he talks to you, he looks right into your eyes and listens to what you say. My family and I have been going to him for at least twenty years, maybe more. Some of us have had hospital stays and he is right there with you - 5:00 in the morning maybe - but he is there. He gave me his cell phone number once and asked me to call him if I needed him in reference to a particular situation. This practice would get a negative if possible. I have never had a good experience there. Dr. Robinson is a good doctor, if you can ever get in to see him. The people running the office are TERRIBLE. Rude, unhelpful and do not care about the patients. I sat and waited 2 hours to see the doctor, and I ended up leaving after asking the girl at the desk how much longer and she ignored me. Blatantly ignored me. WTF? There were so many people waiting there were 6 people standing at one point. Either this practice is giving away gold, or it's like a free clinic. Don't go. I am serious. If I could give this doctor's office negative stars, I would. In fact, I signed up for Yelp just to voice my opinion as to how bad this office functions. No matter what time your appointment is for, you will wait at least an hour and a half, if not more, to be seen. My husband went to the office today out of desperation and told me that the waiting room was so crowded, he was afraid to even get up and ask how much longer the wait would be because he didn't want to lose his seat. When you finally get called in to see the doctor, you spend most of your time talking to a med student and less than 5 minutes with the doctor himself. I would rather go to first-med every time I am sick then ever return to this office - absolutely AWFUL management. **Edited to add that my husband called early in the morning and they said they had a doctor coming in in the afternoon with no appointments and he could be seen at 4:30. It is now 6:20 and he is still sitting in the waiting room with one person ahead of him and all they have to say for themselves is that "there is nothing they can do". HORRIBLE. I was appalled from the moment I walked in the door for the first time. Sad excuse for an office in the disgusting basement of what I assume is the doctor's home. Everything everyone else said is on point. Run by interns, worst place ever etc. I struggle with anxiety and depression and the doctor "doesn't carry or prescribe" the most simple medication - and no one could tell me that until i hadn't had my medication for 4 days thinking they were doing their job and at least tell me they couldn't refill it! And why! The doctor could not even give me any options. For all he knows I could have been suicidal if my case was worse! When someone is without an antidepressant for that long is an urgent fkking situation and I received no help. I can not rate this place low enough. Don't judge a book by its cover. Many families including my own have been coming to this office for 10+ years and for good reason. Yes the office is in a house and the wait time is long at times but that's because when it's finally your turn to be seen , they spend time with you. They listen to you carefully and treat you above and beyond expectations. They truly care about you and your well being. They are patient and never rushed. I usually see Annmarie pedi or on occasion Dr. Timothy Robinson. They are truly gifted doctors that are well worth the wait time. I'm going to be upset when I move to another state as it's going to be hard to find a doctor as thorough and caring as the doctors in this office. read more

I fully agree with the Privileged and C.'s review on 1/2/13. I've had all those issues so I won't repeat what was written in that review. During a period of 3 and a half weeks, I placed 6 phone calls, went to their office once and the pharmacy called them twice to try to get my prescriptions for high cholesterol and high blood pressured renewed. When I was there in person last week, they took all my information and told me they would send it to the pharmacy that same day. I even called my insurance company to complain and they couldn't get through. Like me they left a message last week and still have not received a call back. Today I called again and finally spoke to someone at the Dr.'s office. She told me that I since I have not been there in a while I have to get a blood test before I get my prescription. Finally after 15 plus years of using this office I had enough. the office never picks up the phone and to make an appt you need to drive to the office and make the appt in person. I always request the first appointment because the office gets very backed up because of all the students who come in and ask the same questions as the student before them. And when the MD or PA finally come in you have to repeat everything again. This time could only get the second appt which didn't matter because the doctor was already an hour behind because he wasn't there. when I inquired they told me he'll be there soon and when i said i was leaving they called him and he said he'll be there in 6 mins. this was 10:30am and the office opened at 9am. People have to realize this is a business and you can't support people who are disrespectful of your time. you wouldn't allow this from any other types of businesses! I asked for my chart since i have no plans of returning. I was told it would be 75 cents a page. Why they don't need it anymore. I have no plans of ever returning. From his office I was able to call and make an appt with another doctor that comes recommended from friends. It was wonderful I dialed the number and they answered the phone, My appt is next week. i have now been going to this doctors office for about 3 years now give or take. Dr. Robinson & Dr. Fabian are both great at what they do and very friendly. Every Time i am seen there they always take care of me and find out whats wrong and come up with a treatment plan and take the necessary steps to make sure i get better in addition to that they are also gay friendly which is a plus because i am a gay male and its hard to find doctors who are gay friendly. I will say that the other doctor there by the name of ann marie is a very very nasty doctor. i came in that office 2 years ago because i went to a sex party and i explained to her that one of the guys i hooked up with might have had hiv and i the way i was feeling a few days later after the sex party got me concerned and the first thing she threw at me was a questionnaire on psychological issues i was very very very insulted and walked out of there later i went to the ER where they drew my blood and put me on truvada for 1 month for precautionary measures. i have never forgave ann marie nor will i ever. if you are a member of the LGBT community i would recommend you see fabian or robinson and avoid ann marie at all costs. read more

I've been coming to Dr Robinsons for a while now and I can honestly say that he's a good doctor and my 4 stars are only for him & AnnMarie (shes a PA). He does have a lot of PA students but it doesn't really bother me as much as the no help I've received from the front desk staff. Who manages this place ? Because I think that's what's missing, everyone is all over the place and nothing gets done at the appropriate time. The front desk is responsible with the patient flow just as well as the Medical assistants but you can see that they are just there for a pay check. I asked for a physical form to be filled out and 6 hours later I come back to see what's happened because of course I couldn't get thru via phone for them to tell me it's not ready. I'm usually a passive person but this was for a job, and I couldn't take no for answer anymore from that office. If you do decide to come here just make sure you come on a day off and that you don't let the front desk women push you around. However, I am looking for another doctor in the area .. It's kinda of bitter sweet but I can't deal with the "I hate my job" looks these grown women give as soon as I walk into the office. read more

The wait is really long and the office isn't that nice, but once I got to see Dr. Robinson, I was really happy with him. I was also happy with the other staff members. I had been sick for a while and went to two other doctors who both blew me off about it and told me I had allergies. Dr. Robinson finally prescribed an antibiotic and I'm now better after suffering forever. The wait was horrible though. Took over an hour to get in to see him. This office is a crapshoot. If i was able to give NO stars i would. I went to the office for a physical and waited almost 2 hours. I had blood work done and called for several days to get my results and no one would answer the phone. Finally got through to the front desk and was put on hold for 40 minutes. Tried calling on another phone several times while on hold and no answer. Finally i was fed up and physically went to the office to get my results. I requested to speak to the office manager and was informed by the front desk that they dont have a manager . He/she (not sure of its gender) confirmed that he/she took my call when i finally got through and sometimes the phone disconnects and he/she is the only one there. What type of excuse is that??? You think common sense you would try and call the patient back..Horrible patient care!! I will not be going back and do not recommend this practice at all. read more

I just recently had my last and final visit at this office.. My wait was almost 2hours and 45 minutes.. The office seems to get more run down and dirty each time I am there. The examination rooms are no bigger than a closet.. Staff running around like chickens without heads.. At least 3 or 4 different staff people come in to do something different, and some seem to be incompetent. This office is a teaching office for students in several programs specifically a Physician's Assistant. These students come in and out of the room way too often. Getting blood test results takes days and instructions and follow ups are poor. Finally , they billed my visit to the wrong insurance company and of course they denied any payment.. getting a statement in the mail like this is enough to send you to the hospital.. The office of Dr Robinson was good once upon a time. From the staff, to the students he has, to the Dr himself, the practice is just bad. Took me 2 days to get through for an appointment. This happens a lot..... Nobody answers the phone!!! You are seen by students he teaches, and he drops in to see you for 5 to 10 minutes, does not pay attention AT ALL!!!!! and in my case they dropped the ball with my test results. They called me after a month, after I called and complained about it, and gave me the results from last year's exam. They either lost the blood work from this year or just never bothered to have the blood work go to the lab. I know this because I had another blood test done by another dr, and they found something wrong. See, this dr was too bussy testing the student and paid no attention to my symptoms. Scary!!!! Time to find someone else who does not have 8 to 10 students that he teaches while he ignores the patient before him. read more
