This was such a cute spot and in no way would I have ever thought it was a coffee shop. Love the concept. And you can actually get gas!? I got the matcha lavender latte. Tasty. Didn't taste much like lavender despite asking for extra pumps. The strawberry matcha looked bomb--I'll try that next time

Quick, friendly service. We got the last focaccia chicken sandwich. It was really good.

The aesthetics of Station are like cars land in Disneyland and I loved it. Not only can you get coffee and pastries but you can also grab a pizza or even gasoline. Unfortunately I had already eaten so I only got a latte but I will have to return to try their food. The staff were friendly and service was quick. The vibes all around were good and all the customers seem to be in good spirits. Not the best coffee I've ever had but the vibes more than made up for it. If you are driving past or staying in the area I recommend checking it out.

Such a cute stop in St Helena! The storefront has a cute retro vibe, perfect for a quick stop and photos. We came in the morning before some wine tasting and it was a mix of locals and tourists. Service was great, but a little slow. The matcha latte was okay. I like that they had milk alternatives, but it didn't stand out. Will probably try their coffee next time. The blueberry coffee cake pastry was so good! It was moist, the crumble on top was the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness, and it was enough to tide me and my husband over before brunch. I saw lots of people order other pastries and savory items, so seems like their food might be the way to go! They have lots of open seating in the back with shade as well. Lots of dogs and families with little children, so fun and casual vibe!

Chai latte & bacon quiche.

A great place to get a quick meal, snack and drink. I had the Bacon Quiche, warmed and an ice chai latte. It hit the spot. I originally was trying to order avocado toast but they were all out of avocados. The staff were friendly, the set up and decor were nice especially with it being at a gas station. The only bad part was it wasn't clean in the dine in area. Other customers left over drinks and trash were left behind and the staff didn't clean it.

This is a nice spot to take a break after visiting the vineyards! The outside patio is nice and spacious. There's a cute corner that says "I love you", great as a photo op. Although the ambiance is nice, the drinks were not very good. The iced latte with whole milk was very milky and did not have much coffee in it. I feel like you could tell by the color of the latte- it's definitely more on the milkier light end.

Nice aesthetics, but also shortcuts taken at The Station in St. Helena, which made for a mixed experience. The Station is run by Gott's, which has been a local favorite for healthy-ish fast food with creative options. On the plus side, it's nice to see an affordable, casual option in St. Helena. Clever that it's still a working gas station. We found most salads and sandwiches at The Station are premade in the cold case, which I don't love. Our BLT however was made to order, and came on thick multigrain with tangy lemon aioli, but with a thin, single layer of (somehow lean and chewy) bacon that didn't satisfy. The grain bowl had a nice combo of garbanzo beans, sweet potatoes, eggs and pickled beets, and was also premade. A lot of nice design details about this place and use of green packaging. Kudos for the creativity and cost effectiveness, but also I was left wanting more for my sandwich experience.

Autumn Harvest Focaccia

Got their seasonal Autumn Harvest Focaccia, and it tasted incredibly fresh. The roasted butternut squash, sharp white cheddar cheese, peppery arugula, bright lemon aioli, and house-made cranberry-apple chutney all came together perfectly on a fragrant herb focaccia. The combination offered a balance of sweetness and freshness that didn't feel heavy. Paired with iced tea, it made for a refreshing and light, delicious lunch.

Was craving pizza and decided to give this unexpected place a try. The Oak Knoll pizza hit the spot. Ordered the pizza to go and it took about 20 min - wandered into Sunshine Foods while waiting.

wonderful coffee spot as you enter St Helena on the way to Calistoga. It's paired with a gas station. The shop is bright, open and inviting. The food looks amazing, though we only got coffee each day. The service is friendly and efficient, the coffee/tea selection ample. There are seating areas to the side and back of the shop, so there's a place to enjoy your java and food. Wonderful place!

If you are looking for a good and simple meal you need to try Station. I grew up in St Helena and I remembered when it was a service station service station. My wife and I checked it out a week ago. We got a salad and a slice of pizza. Very affordable and something very simple. It can be hard to find in St. Helena. Service is great. The staff's very friendly.

Station is literally a filling station (4 pumps to top off your tank) and an upscale, mostly take-away eatery with a delightful selection of biscuits, enticing riffs on healthier breakfast favorites like avocado toast plus muffins and quiche, great salads, smoothies, sandwiches- and pizza by the slice. I got the Salmon Toast on thick, homemade multigrain bread, nova, feta cheese spread topped with pickled onions ($15). I brought back the Grain Bowl ($13) for my swimmer with extra protein (sliced herbed chicken, + $5). All the items were delicious and high quality though a bit skimpy on salmon and sliced chicken. Still, I appreciated all the housemade, creative ingredients like the salad's harissa-spiced sweet potatoes and crispy chickpeas and the homemade thick, toasted multigrain bread for my salmon toast. Americano was delicious and service was upbeat but respectfully low-key: I don't talk much at that hour before I'm appropriately caffeinated. Staff was speedy taking and fulfilling orders as groups of people came and went. The space never felt crowded as the entire front wall (where garage doors were lifted open) left only three sides enclosed. Whoever designed the high impact graphics and the flow of this space deserves an award. It's a wow! I hope we have another meet in St. Helena soon because I want to return for the hot honey pimento and bacon biscuit and matcha lavender latte. Come here if you're day tripping in Wine Country or passing through and looking to have a delicious breakfast or lunch without breaking the bank. And let me repeat: Breakfast ALL DAY, gold star for that!

Station St. Helena has a lot going for it: charming roadside ambiance, a welcoming patio, and a menu that sounds more exciting. It's a solid stop if you're in the area and craving something casual, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for us. Service was friendly but a bit scattered. Our drinks took a while. Overall, Station feels like a place that could be great with just a bit more focus. It's good for a quick bite or casual lunch, especially if you're sitting outside with a cup of tea. But in a town packed with standout options, it wouldn't be my first choice for a repeat visit.

I've been twice and sat at the bar both times. first visit was with hubby so we ordered the fried chicken and had a few sides...the chicken is juicy and crispy and oh so flavorful...even better with their signature hot sauce! visit 2 i was with my daughter so we opted for a salad and the chicken strips w/ fries. totally doable for out appetite. Looks teeny tiny when it comes out to you but was more than satisfying. i personally love the strips (easier to eat)...but try both for yourself! the service is stellar and the atmosphere is nice. a little warmer in the bar area vs the dining area (where the bathroom is) so choose accordingly. they also have a small patio with seating also. looking forward to visit #3... and make sure to check out the JCB lounge around the corner to satisfy your champagne (and wine) cravings

While working in St. Helena, I could never find an opening in a reservation, so here was a great opportunity now that all of us are retired. Our friends live in Clear Lake while we live in Vallejo, so this is a central place to meet. It was the best decision I made because every year for the past several anniversaries, we've gone to Cache Creek to C2. Their food and service is excellent because my husband enjoys poker, but I thought a change of scenery would be nice. And it was! Firstly, it was very kind of the staff to present us with a greeting card signed by everyone -- how sweet and thoughtful! We will cherish that! Secondly, we were very impressed with how the food/wine was locally sourced. It was incredible to hear the story about Custom, the Bull, and taste the difference between the Highland beef compared to Angus. Our waitress was "Erica S." She was engaging, personable, and very informative. My husband and I would definitely like to return to return to experience the dinner menu! We and our guests had the following dishes: Artichoke appetizer Arbororio Biscuits & Gravy Two Cheeseburgers Three Bloody Mary's Farmstead Margarita When they found out it was our anniversary celebration, the house sent over four glasses of complimentary champagne and a dish of dessert -- again, very sweet and kind of them I now understand why so many crowds flock to this restaurant! It's well worth the wait! If you have not experienced a meal there, you must definitely go now!

From the beginning, there seemed to be constant miscommunication between staff. We specifically booked an outdoor reservation and were seated inside instead. While mistakes happen, it set the tone for the rest of the evening. The bigger issue involved the wine and corkage fee. We purchased a bottle directly from the market associated with the restaurant and were told by the employee there that the corkage fee would be waived if we bought their wine. When we sat down, our server Sara told us that was not true and that we would still have to pay the fee. I explained what we had been told, and when she asked if I wanted a manager involved, I said yes. Before the manager even arrived or clarified the situation, the server opened our bottle of wine. In the silence and confusion, I reasonably assumed the fee issue had been resolved. Then the manager came over and told us we would still be charged and implied that nobody at the market would have told us otherwise. The way it was handled made my husband and I feel like we were being accused of making the whole thing up, which was especially upsetting on Mother's Day. At that point, the bottle was already opened, so we were essentially stuck paying the fee regardless. Between being seated incorrectly, the poor communication between employees, and how dismissive the situation felt, the service completely overshadowed what should have been a special meal. The rest of the service we felt ignored and there was minimal effort to accommodate. Great food alone is not enough to justify returning when the hospitality experience feels this frustrating and unprofessional.

The dining room was nearly empty, making it feel as if we had the entire place to ourselves. Service was warm, friendly, and professional without being stufy. Ambiance matches the food. You are enmeshed in a peaceful sanctuary, enveloped by the lush greenery outside. Soft, tasteful music accompanies. The food is very good, at times superb, with attractive, precise platings. Appetizers and shareables shine. Free Bread Course (5/5) - outrageously tasty. Some of the best focaccia I've had, with their absurdly good estate olive oil to dip in. Difficult to not eat too much of this. Meadowood Farms Spring Green Salad (5/5) - $22 - Ridiculously fresh vegetables picked from Meadowood's own garden. The top-level freshness reminded me of vegetables at Single Thread. Globe Artichoke Confit (5/5) - $26 - Perhaps my favorite dish of the evening, oozing umami flavor, with crispy trumpet mushrooms and artichoke hearts swimming in a bed of delectable tomato concasse. The accompanying estate olive oil is some of the best I've had. Liberty Farms Duck Leg Confit (4.5/5) - $42 - Tough for me to ever pass up duck confit, and this version did not disappoint. The accompanying blackberry beet reduction was perfect. Arroz Caldo (3.5/5) - $19 - The only slight disappointment of the night. The shredded chicken was moist, but the ginger favorite was overwhelmed by the overabundance of salt. Chocolate Pot de Creme (4/5) - $16 - Pretty good, with rich, deep chocolate notes, but we were probably too full at this point to fully appreciate. They have a nice coffee program here as well, as we enjoyed an espresso and americano. All told, a very enjoyable dinner! Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Value: 4/5 Total for two, all-in, with one cocktail and two coffees: $230
