We came here every morning during our trip to Napa. Coffee was solid, but our favorite was the atmosphere. There's plenty of seats all around the property that made it the perfect place to have a slow morning. Loved it!

While staying across the street, I sought a quick breakfast and a much-needed coffee. The coffee was exceptional, truly remarkable. However, the avocado toast left an indelible impression on my memory.

Stopped by Sam's General Store for breakfast and really enjoyed the experience. I had the quiche and my friend had the avocado toast-both were delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. However, too many sesame seeds on both. But You can tell they use quality ingredients. The ambiance is what really stood out -- charming, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. Whether you're sitting inside or out on the patio, it's a lovely spot to start the morning. That said, it's definitely on the pricey side. You're paying a bit of a premium, especially for breakfast, but the overall atmosphere and food make it feel (mostly) worth it. A great little stop if you're in the area and don't mind splurging a bit for a laid-back, elevated breakfast.

We got a lovely coffee at Sam's general store. My cappuccino was strong and tasted amazing. The coffee shop is in a historic building in Calistoga, and there is a really pleasant outdoor seating area. It took a little while to get to the front of the line to order- but it wasn't horrible- and it was an exercise in patience on a relaxed morning. I would recommend this spot!

It's a cute little shop connected to an Inn. So it's not entirely its own coffee shop- as there are areas for hotel guests only. But plenty of outdoor seating. (Restrooms are outside.)

Stopped by for a quick coffee after getting into Calistoga, definitely need to get there early if you want any of the pastries. It was a holiday weekend and they had already sold out of most things by the time we arrived, but they had a couple items which we really wanted to try. They have multiple outdoor areas which are super nice to enjoy your drinks. Worth checking out if you can get some tasty treats.

    Cute, relaxed locals cafe.

Had breakfast here on our recent trip and loved the food, ambiance and local vibe. It's a grab & go place where you order from the counter. We also loved the tucked away location one block from Main Street. What we had: Coffee - delicious Overnight Oats Croissant Egg salad Fruit Simple, healthy, delicious! Highly recommend.

I was staying in the area at a spot with no breakfast so I drove over for a very early breakfast and to read for a bit. I had dreams of sitting outside by a fire pit and watching the sunrise but it was simply too cold to do that lol. The staff inside was very friendly and I started with a chai latte and a breakfast sandwich and found a cozy corner to read in. There was a pretty steady stream of traffic coming in after that, I'm assuming both folks staying on property and others like me looking for a quick bite to eat. On the way out, I grabbed one of their juices and an almond croissant. The green juice was really good, the almond croissant left a bit to be desired. I would return!

So happy to find this sweet coffee & deli off the main road in Calistoga. The outdoor seating is lovely and the inside is charming. The staff were quite nice and I loved the Matcha-Cha-Cha latte! The croissant was huge, flaky & tasty.

Came here on a very busy morning Sunday around 10am and the line was out the door and slow moving. There is an option to order online but it still took 30 mins to get our order. I wanted to leave. The coffee is a bit better than the one across the street and La Palmerie lounge which is where we stayed. But the wait was excruciating that day. I understand it was a three day weekend with limited options for everyone in the small town. But i wonder if it's possible to add more people to staff during these busy times as it makes me not want to go back. The coffee roast taste more on the burnt side and i got the oatmilk wildflower honey latte and it was not that sweet at all, overall a good coffee.

Today, my husband and I came to eat dinner at 5:15. To start, we were greeted with scowls, not given menus, and sat at a dirty table for five minutes, until we finally got up and moved seats. We had been enjoying the local hot springs, and I don't think our leisure attire and wet hair were appealing to the well-aged "hostess." I use that word generously. She repeatedly looked me up and down. The staff was transitioning to dinner, which was fine. However, they clearly had no interest in helping us. We received menus after 10 minutes and were then ignored again. This is not the first time I've had bad service here, and I will never come back. I had a lousy experience about 7 weee ago and was trying to look beyond...We ended up having a lovely $300 dinner at the Calistoga Inn. As Indian Springs and its businesses grow, they clearly have lost the importance of customer service. It used to be a really great spot.

What an amazing experience…read more I know wine is the primary attraction but as those of us who are local know there is so much more This olive oil tasting is one of the many more things. Great ambience off Silverado trail. Cane here with my best friend to do a tasting. Charlie was our host and she was amazing. Super knowledgeable and a terrific host. We tasted two olive oils form their harvest. One was more of the less ripe olives and one was of the more ripe olives. Both were tasty. One more and the other less acidic. Both peppery. The. Came a couple of oils form Italy and Spain. I liked the Spanish one much better and it went well with the bread and was candidly amazing in its own Then rhe balsamic vinegar came. Aged to 18 years the fist was perfectly acidic and quite viscous. The second one an infused with ripe figs for a year. More sweet for me but perfectly balanced. What an awesome idea experience I highly recommend this place!!!.

For example, while others had an olive oil gelato, I had an olive oil sorbet with a blood orange gummy. It was really interesting. In no way did I feel deprived or like I was missing out. In fact, mine might have been better than what the others had. That was the last course though. Before that, we did olive oil tastings with bread and popcorn and balsamic vinegar tastings with cherry tomatoes. They used to make all the food in house but now partner with some local places. Amberly also did a wonderful job walking us through details around the tastings and it was very informative. The whole thing takes place indoors and the interior is cute with plenty of olive oil lining the walls. I would absolutely go back to do it again in the future and recommend it to anyone considering it!

You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and he kept the tour interesting the entire time. The castle itself is stunning and the whole experience felt really unique. The wine tastings were all delicious and added a lot to the visit. The only downside was unfortunately someone in our tour group. One woman made sure everyone knew she was a member and kept mentioning how she had already seen the castle too many times and was bored of it, saying she only came to bring her family for a birthday. It kind of disrupted the experience for the rest of us. When we got to the torture chamber she also started making some really inappropriate remarks, which was a bit uncomfortable for the group.
