That jalapeños jack croissant caught my eye. Soooo yummy.

Stopping at Bella for coffee and light breakfast bites has been a regular habit for my friends and I when spending a weekend in Calistoga. It can get pretty busy at times, but the short wait is worth it. These ladies hustle and the line moves quickly. Coffee is good like a diner unless you want something more fancy like a matcha latte. If you have a sweet tooth. Bella has so many exquisite looking sweet treats I've never tried, but they sure are pretty! I'm sure they're good based on all the delicious breakfast offerings. I always get the jalapeño cheddar croissant. It just hits the spot for my savory craving in the morning. My gf loves her almond croissant which is also very good. Looking for more protein and less carbs? The quiches are quite big and pretty good but light on the ingredients inside. Bacon quiche could have used a bit more bacon but still fulfilling. If you want a proper breakfast they have chorizo, ham or sausage burritos also. I've never had one but maybe in the future before our morning wine tastings. Nice people behind the counter and so many delicious treats for the afternoon or morning! I look forward to another Bella breakfast next time I'm in Calistoga!

Visited Bella's Bakery in Calistoga and it's such an adorable little spot in this charming small town! Started my day with their breakfast English muffin with ham and egg, and it was honestly just so good. Perfect way to kick off the morning! I also picked up one of their pre-made sandwiches for later, and it turned out to be a winner too! I think it was turkey with Brie cheese, and my partner absolutely loved it, saying it was amazing. I've heard through the grapevine that it might be one of Oprah's favorite bakeries, but can't say for sure--can anyone fact check that for us? If you find yourself in Calistoga, make sure to stop by Bella's Bakery for some tasty treats!

Coffee/bakery on the main street in downtown. We were looking for road snacks, but ordered breakfast sandwiches, coffee and a scone. Gorgeous baked goods and sandwiches. Mellow vibe. Decorated with local art. A great stop to start the day and/or snack latter. Two thumbs up from this guy!

There were so many delicious looking items to choose from. The staff were efficient and friendly. I had the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. It was nothing special. My spouse had the raspberry pastry. He loved his. I would definitely be eager to return and try something else.

I have been staying in Calistoga for the past 3 days and every morning I have taken a walk down to this Bakery for the best quick breakfast. I had the breakfast burrito, the croissant breakfast sandwich, and the English muffin (which they make fresh) breakfast sandwich. Everything thing has been so yummy and fresh. I love their cold chai as well. Such a cute place with a friendly staff.

A wonderful place. Obviously popular with locals and tourists alike. Great coffee (strong like I prefer) and an overwhelming selection of pastries and sweet or savory morning offerings. Line can get long but it moves fast; service is very good!

Easily some of the best pastries I've ever had. I've been here a couple of times and it has yet to disappoint. Their coffee is great, breakfast burritos have tons of meat, egg, and cheese. I've had a chocolate croissant, spinach and feta, almond croissant, peaches and cream danish, bacon Asiago quiche, and all have been amazing. I love stopping in after work (I work night shift) and getting something on my way home. I've never waited more than a couple minutes in line or to get my coffee. There's plenty of seating and the staff are always kind and patient, especially with so much to choose from. Plus they're always playing good music in the mornings which just adds to the experience. I plan on coming many more times.

Love Latin family owned shops like this one. Had one of the biggest conchas I have ever seen. It was delicious. Also had the matcha latte my niece had the frappe and mentioned it was not sweet at all!!! so for my coffee lover get the frap. Must check out

The pastry was fantastic, my friends loved their huge slices of oversized quiche, however the breakfast sandwich on a homemade English muffin was fine. Granted, I did ask for no cheese on said brekkie sammy, but the eggs weren't flavorful and the English muffin wasn't crispy enough. The Iced coffee was solid. Some Yelpers seem to complain about service, and while it wasn't friendly, it was fine. But let's go back for those pastries. So flakey, so fresh and what a menu and variety. I love jam. I love probably most any pastries filled with jams and the raspberry croissant was it for me. Prices are relative to Napa, but not overly so. There were 2 small tables in front and plenty of poles to tie our bikes to. Overall, grab a pastry (or a quiche), a coffee and enjoy!

I love stopping here when we're in Napa Valley. There's another location at Oxbow Market too. I was going to order at the kiosk but the line was so short, I opted to order in person. I had the sausage breakfast sandwich and a latte. Both were delicious! The sausage breakfast sandwich is on their homemade English muffins which is perfectly made with the slight tang, crunchy crust, and the right chew. Highly recommend!

I was excited to see a kale salad on their menu, especially one with strong fixings such as squash and goat cheese; sadly, the ingredients were entirely AWOL. In the pre-mix photo, it appears like a relatively decent helping, but after mixing, it became a mountain of kale with the other ingredients having been a facade in the initial viewing. Classic shrinkflation by which a $20 salad (yikes!) is padded by a heap of greenery. Furthermore, the squash was undercooked and disappointing even in the few bites of it I had. I believe that the salad could be adjusted to be a satisfying meal (goat cheese is never a wrong choice), but right now it's a miss, for both the stomach and the wallet.

The cream cheese danish was a standout--generously filled and rich without being overly sweet. The pistachio éclair was absolutely delectable, with a smooth, nutty cream that made it hard to share. I also grabbed the Better Nutter and the TKO (Thomas Keller Oreo), both of which were delicious and worth ordering again. The only item I wasn't too into was the Ohoh, though my niece loved it--so it really just comes down to personal taste. Service was friendly and efficient, even with the steady crowd. The bakery itself is pretty small, so expect a line that may stretch out the door, we waited about 15 minutes just to get inside. Still, definitely worth it for the quality of the pastries!

I snagged the monkey bread, a blueberry muffin, and a pistachio macaroon, and friends, I have a pro tip: pop those pastries in the microwave for just a few seconds and prepare yourself for pure, warm, buttery greatness. Friendly and efficient. Though sometimes you wonder what all of them are doing I am convinced from long time observing that they are doing what they need to do in order to keep the flow going. They are also very helpful and friendly. The rest of the store staff is also very personal, kind, thoughtful. They know their customers. The one thing I will say is that their stocking protocols seem to be a bit disorganized. There is never a price on individual items, and looking under the stock at the 'pricing' strips is quite confusing. There just doesn't seem to be any interest in identifying the prices of the items in stock. The skews are there, but there are no prices typically. If there is any price under the stock it typically doesn't have a name of the item referenced. Many times there is no price identified at all, and cashiers may have to go searching for a price. Yes they do have skews on the items, unless they are inaccurate. Beyond this, it's a great resource for the town and highly appreciated. High prices of course, in concert with high quality.

We also grabbed a croissant, which absolutely held its own Parking? Lot We had English Muffin (5/5): these are absurdly good. The kind of thing you plan to buy one of and somehow leave with a dozen. They smell almost like donuts when they're warm, with this buttery, slightly sweet aroma that hits you before the first bite. Lightly toasted, they develop the perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft and airy inside. Honestly, all they need is butter. They're great on their own, even better with oatmeal and coffee Croissant (4.5/5): really solid croissant. Soft, buttery, and clearly made with care. It had that delicate pull and layered texture you want without becoming overly heavy or greasy. My only complaint is that it deserved butter and jam on the side to really complete the experience. It's a stunning backdrop for what remains some of the best baking in Sonoma County. As for the food, it remains predictably--and exceptionally--amazing. A few highlights from this visit: * **Ham & Cheese Croissant:** Perfectly laminated with that elusive shatter-crisp exterior and a savory, high-quality center. * **Veggie Quiche:** Often an afterthought elsewhere, here it was custard-like and rich, accompanied by a surprisingly delightful, bright side salad. * **The Sweets:** Both the OBG (Oatmeal Brown Butter Ginger) and the apricot cookies were standout treats, balancing texture and nuanced sweetness. * **Baguette:** A masterclass in crust and crumb; it's a must-grab for the ride home. * **Cappuccino:** Precisely pulled and well-textured, easily competing with the dedicated third-wave coffee shops in the area. The service was polite and welcoming, though it leaned a bit toward the slower side. However, given the quality of the output and the inviting nature of the new space, it's a minor concession.
