Amazing amazing amazing , what a nice surprise ! Found it on yelp and decided to give it a try and glad we did Service was excellent , very attentive and friendly. We got the calamari , bread and butter , and fried octopus appetizers, 10/10 all around , for main course we tried the whole fish sea bass and white shrimp pasta , excellent and hands down 10/10 , highly recommend and will be back next time we are in town

    Wood fired sea bass. Amazing.

4 stars but barely. Fleetwood was not at all what I was expecting. It's possible I didn't research it enough but I thought it would be a swanky restaurant like a few others near it in Calistoga. When I arrived I was shocked to see it is a hotel restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. Since it's a Hyatt it's not terrible, it just very much feels like a hotel restaurant with tables set out on the floor right next to the main lobby. Service was fine but another shocker was the menu - it only seemed to have about 12 things total on it. I was expecting a much larger menu. Fortunately, the food was good. I enjoyed 2 cocktails that were very tasty. The grilled Hearts of Romaine were ok. Nothing stood out but then it is a salad. The wood fire sea bass was bomb. It was marinated in an Indian spice blend of some kind so it had a really lovely flavor profile that was spicy but not overwhelming (almost like a tandoori version). Laura had a pizza and it was good. Not the best I've had but on par for good food in Napa. If you aren't overly fussy about ambience, can handle a very limited menu and aren't looking for fine dining Fleetwood may fit the bill, I just don't think it's destination worthy.

Second time coming here but only now writing the review. This place has amazing food and super convenient that it's at the same hotel we stayed at. They offer a variety of American food from pizzas to pastas and more. I went with the mushroom pizza and it was fantastic! It had lots of great mushroom pieces and chunks of parmesan. It's a bit thicker on the crust but everything was delicious

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fleetwood Calistoga, and overall, it was an enjoyable experience that left a positive impression. Calamari: To start, I ordered the calamari, and it was a standout dish. The calamari was perfectly tender, not the least bit rubbery, and was fried to golden perfection. It was accompanied by a zesty dipping sauce that complemented the flavors beautifully. The portion size was generous, making it a great appetizer for sharing or for a hearty start to the meal. Chicken Breast with Au Jus: For the main course, I opted for the chicken breast with au jus. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, served with a flavorful au jus that added an extra layer of richness to the dish. The presentation was simple yet elegant, and it came with a side of seasonal vegetables that were cooked just right--crispy and fresh. However, I wish the dish had a bit more depth in terms of flavor; while it was good, it didn't quite reach the level of excitement I was hoping for. Shrimp Pasta: The shrimp pasta was another highlight of the meal. The shrimp were plump and juicy, and they paired wonderfully with the al dente pasta. The dish had a light, garlic-infused sauce that was both aromatic and flavorful without being overwhelming. It struck a nice balance and left me wanting more with each bite. Definitely a must-try for pasta lovers! Churros: To finish, we couldn't resist trying the churros for dessert. They were delightful--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, dusted with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. Served with a chocolate dipping sauce, they were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. I only wished for a tad more chocolate sauce, but it was a minor detail in an otherwise satisfying dessert. Atmosphere and Service: The ambiance of Fleetwood Calistoga was warm and inviting, with a rustic charm that made it a cozy place to enjoy a meal. The staff was attentive but not intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed without rushing us through our dining experience. Final Thoughts: Overall, Fleetwood Calistoga offers a lovely dining experience with a menu that caters to diverse tastes. While some dishes could use a touch more seasoning or innovation, the quality of ingredients and the skill in preparation are apparent. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a relaxed night out with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. I certainly look forward to returning to try more of their offerings!

Cute newly renovated restaurant located just outside of the downtown Calistoga area. Food tasted good and fresh, service was great and timely. We sat outside and in the evening time string lights beautifully light back the patio area.

This beets salad is sooo good.

Loved the open layout of the restaurant and it was aesthetically pleasing. The food was good. The beet salad was amazing and i loved the orange beets which was like a sweeter taste than the purple one, the texture was like a tomato even. I'd return for the salad alone. Service was good.

    Ask the Community - Fleetwood

    Is the restaurant dog friendly?

Absolutely, we love our four-legged friends! 🐾 Our outdoor patio is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry companions along for a great time!

    Are there vegan options?

Absolutely! My husband is a vegan and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Hi, Can I bring a bottle of wine? Any corkage fees?

Sure you can bring a bottle as most restaurants in the wine country allow it but they do usually charge a fee, what the fee is I am not sure. The restaurant is fabulous.

    Walk ins or reservations only?

We made a reservation, but they talk walk ins. It's a small place, and since it's in a busy area, it tends to be packed.

For starters we got the truffle fries, and A Minestrone soup. The truffle fries were delicious, and had a bit if a kick to them so if you dont like spicy keep that in mind. The Soup was delicious and a great size for the small soup portion. I ordered the Lasagna with meat sauce and its light delicate layers were delicious, and perfectly balanced with the cheese. The server was helpful and informative and told my friend about the Mushroom cream sauce for her ravioli that if you love mushrooms you'll love it but if you don't then steer away. And we LOVE mushrooms and the ravioli paired perfectly with the heavy mushroom cream sauce. We also got the Steak and ordered it medium rare, when it came to us and it was closer to blue/rare the server/bartender didn't hesitate to apologize and in a flash take it back. The cooks remade it and it was perfectly medium rare with that nice browning on the outside and a small bit it pink in the center. We were very satisfied and it was such a lovely touch the manager did come out before the end of our meal to ensure we were satisfied and apologized for the discrepancy in the meal. The calamari ($25) was decent and the patatine fritte e tartufo ($16) had big portions but could've used a little salt. We made a reservation for Saturday night and they sat us in the main dining room. Ambiance was romantic, a tad on the quiet side though there were probably 8 couples dining at the same time. On to the food. We opted for the 4 course tasting menu, non alcoholic. They started us off with a beautiful non-alcoholic rosé toast which was dry, crisp and delicious. We ordered mocktails which were equally tasty. I cannot remember the names. See photo. On to the meal. Amuse bouche: They also brought an amuse bouche of tuna tartare with a non-alcoholic wine. That was fresh & delicious. Supplements: We added the focaccia olive bread and oysters as supplements. The olive bread was absolutely delicious & served with an olive oil from France. The oysters were super fresh with a fluffy cream with a hint of dill on top. We loved them. First course: The next course was golden beets. The beets were fresh & delicious. Like, not love. Bonus course: The next course ended up being a mistake. We were served the egg diavlo which was not part of the 4-course menu. We alerted our server. She apologized and said she entered the 8-course by mistake. The egg diablo is like a fluffy scrambled egg with peppers but elevated. This was ok. Like not love. Second course: Then she brought out the farfalle pasta with peas. Everything about the dish was fresh and handmade but missing something, maybe salt. It was comforting, tasty in its own way but somewhat forgettable. Bonus course: The next course was another bonus! Risotto with truffle. This was super rich, creamy & delicious. Again really good, a tad too rich for me.. Third course: The next course was the duck paired with Israeli couscous. Wow wow wow. This was the star of the dinner. Side note: My husband got the veggie plate - grits, beans, squash - as he's vegetarian and he said it was super underwhelming. See photo. Fourth course: This was a two cheese with berry syrup, a fig, a peach and persimmon I think. We were getting so full but carried on. We thought we were done but I guess there was one more dessert which was like an ice cream, semifreddo with fruit. Both desserts were delicious but we were so stuffed. Overall, Violetto has been touted as a destination resto with Michelin star ambitions but seems like we visited on an off day. Not only was it a splurge-y, underwhelming meal, it required getting a burger afterwards.

The Caesar salad was surprisingly lemony and refreshing. Everyone loved the pizza for the small crispy pepperonis and hot honey flavor. And the pasta was simply delicious. The gelato was the most interesting item of the meal -- they brought it out for a birthday we were celebrating. It had pine nut oil on top, which gave it a distinct popcorn / kettle corn taste. It was the kind of dessert you try knowing that you'll likely never get anything like it anywhere else!

I think this pepperoni pizza was $32. Crazy expensive without any other topping, lol. The size was rather small and it hardly fed the 2 of us. I give the food and value an overall 4/5 stars. We couldn't get a table because this place was absolutely packed on a Saturday evening. We just ordered to-go and ate in our car. The pizza is really good but I'd rather eat at other restaurants in Yountville. You can find a comparable pizza in SF or any other gourmet pizza shop in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, we will not come back here since there are so many other food options in the area.
