First time in. The restaurant is deeper than it looks from the outside - we were able to get a nice, quiet table even though they were quite busy. Outside seating is available too. We had to wait a little while to order but that was fine with us - we were catching up anyway. The French toast was very good. The iced and hot coffee were also both good - my hot was refilled a few times. My Philly cheesesteak omelette wasn't amazing, to be honest. It wasn't "bad" but also nothing special. The grilled biscuit was good and I appreciated being able to sub a fruit cup for the potato options. Fair prices. We had no issues finding parking. read more

The food was freshly made and came out quickly. I ordered the station platter that came with two eggs over medium, tatter tots, biscuit and gravy, three slices of bacon, and a slice of French Toast. My date had the three French toast plate and a bowl of hot oatmeal. The food came out as ordered and perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself was clean, open, and airy. A great hidden gem in Lewiston that brings great food to a historic landmark (re: Grand Trunk Station). The service is friendly and quick. They have the best hash browns and cook them perfectly when you ask for them to be crispy. On my recent visit I ordered a ham and cheese omelet - I could only eat about a quarter of it because it was so big! It was also well flavored and perfectly cooked. They have a big menu with some unique offerings (stuffed hash browns!). The pancakes are also great. read more

We came for Sunday brunch around 1:30p. We were sat and had our drinks shortly after being seated. Had our food by 1:45p. A reasonably priced menu with a plethora of choices. I settled on the station platter and left, satisfied, with a full belly. The staff, Kelsey our waitress, was kind and displayed high levels of customer service. Went in the eat breakfast, my waiter was some kid named Tyler, I guess because I'm a black man sitting down to eat at a predominantly white area restaurant, I was just given my food and Never came back to the table until he put the check on the table! While I'm eating I see he's going to other tables around me to ask customers if they needed anything else etc, but never came to check on if I needed anything else! Which I thought was very unprofessional, but I was the bigger person and still left him a Tip lol, even though he didn't deserve it! Once again, my food came as I went to the bathroom (isn't that how it always happens?) and I missed the opportunity to grab a picture because I was just too hungry! This is a fun little spot. It was nicely decorated, felt warm and welcoming, and our food came relatively quickly. I tried the station platter which came with two eggs, 3 strips of bacon (or 2 sausage patties,) choice of potato (I got hash browns), choice of biscuit with gravy or toast (I got the biscuit with gravy), and choice of pancake, french toast, or crepe! (Of course I got the crepe!) I was hungryyyy and ate this entire meal! I loved the options they had and that we were able to go in after noon and still get breakfast! They had a good selection for kids meals and lunch food as well. I had heard great things about this spot and was not disappointed. They also appeared to offer some specialty cocktails and coffees (think mimosas or Irish coffees) however I did not try one. I LOVED that they had tobasco hot sauce on all the tables along with syrup, creamer, jelly, ketchup, etc. so you don't have to wait and ask for it when your food comes! :) I will say, when we got there, we did end up having to wait probably 10-15 minutes for a table. There was a second door that people came into while we were still waiting and they pretty much welcomed themselves to a table before we were even sat which was a bit irritating but we got sat immediately after and I don't blame the staff for how things worked out! This place had personality, basically; diner with a less generic meal and dining experience and a very reasonable rate, especially compared to Portland. Service was a bit slow but incredibly friendly. Overall if you are near Lewiston and want to go to a diner, I'd definitely keep station grill in the running! Will definitely return myself. read more

Had a good server today, but unfortunately waited 50 minutes with my toddler at 645am for 1 single plate of food. While there was only one cook, they continued to fill the inside and outside and not warning any of the tables on how long the wait would be for food, and not giving the poor cook any chance to catch up. We were at the 45 minute point when they sat a party of 15 in front of us and immediately flipped 5-6 other tables. That is unacceptable for running a restaurant. No time your kitchen to even have a CHANCE to catch up. Unfortunately Won't be returning. read more

I was pleasantly surprised when going here. Checked out the Facebook and felt discouraged- repeat images of the same food over and over. But we came here and were blown away. Many places offer homemade corned beef hash but that's always a gamble- it's classic out of a can here which was a relief. The crunchy/crispy French toast is incredible. read more

I don't want to post this because I don't want to wait for breakfast on the weekends but I feel like I'm doing an injustice to Kathy if I don't. This is hands down my new favorite breakfast place in L/A. If I can give you one piece of advice: GET THE FROSTED FLAKE FRENCH TOAST. My life hasn't been the same since I had it. The sun shines brighter. The birds chirp louder. I feel like the rainbows touch down on the roof at Station Grill because it's a pot of gold. I failed miserably at taking pictures but I promise I will do better next time. They have such a cool menu, **stuffed hashbrowns!!** and chicken biscuits and Oreo pancakes! They also serve dinner, which is a nice classic menu. If you're like me- you remember going to your grandparents for dinner as a kid and you were like "oh good, beef stew again (womp womp)" but now as an adult you're like "heck ya I love beef stew, reminds me of Nanny + Grampa!" If you are in need of comfort food, I recommend. I ordered an excellent corn chowder soup followed by a tender pot roast with carrots and mashed with gravy as sides. The pot roast is fork-tender and not over-salted. The historic Lewiston photo posters add a nice touch to the interior. read more

On our next trip here this will be a must stop. The building is an old converted railway station from the 1800s. I wanted to try something different. My boyfriend and I went in for dinner. The waitress was pleasant. The call buttons were a great idea with short staff. His french onion soup was cold and sweet. He ordered steak tips, grilled potatoes, and pickled beets. I ordered the cajun fish, grilled potatoes, and broccoli. The broccoli bowl was bigger than my whole plate and unfortunately the best part of my meal. The fish was bland, and the potatoes were soggy. We were 4 couples on a Sunday morning. Our reservation was missed, but we were ok to wait it out. Very busy, but waitress was attentive and set expectations that there would be a lengthy wait for our food (it was about 45 minutes after ordering). She was as efficient as possible. The food was very good, everyone enjoyed their meal. About 30 minutes into eating, the host came to our table to ask if we were almost done because people were waiting. There was still food on plates and mimosas in hand. Appalling! Some of our party drove an hour to get here. We waited nearly 30 minutes for a table ('lost' reservation), and about 45 minutes for our food (dropping $250 on breakfast and drinks) but weren't given the (basic) courtesy of eating our meals at our leisure. We demonstrated all the patience in the world only to be rushed out the door. Idc how good the food is, and as much as I appreciate good table service (and it was), we will never return to this establishment. What a miss on their part. read more

I just picked up two lunches to go: a salad and a wrap. The salad had so much water in it, it leaked all over the bag and made the ingredients mushy. The wrap was the same way so the bottom of the wrap was it was absorbing the puddle. Further, I pulled out a completely brown wilted piece of lettuce. For $40, a complete disappointment. read more
