The food is always good here, the service is as well. One of the best breakfasts in the area. You will want to comeback, so I'm guessing I'll see you here at the station.

The food was freshly made and came out quickly. I ordered the station platter that came with two eggs over medium, tatter tots, biscuit and gravy, three slices of bacon, and a slice of French Toast. My date had the three French toast plate and a bowl of hot oatmeal. The food came out as ordered and perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself was clean, open, and airy. The hostess and wait staff were welcoming and thorough.

A great hidden gem in Lewiston that brings great food to a historic landmark (re: Grand Trunk Station). The service is friendly and quick. They have the best hash browns and cook them perfectly when you ask for them to be crispy. On my recent visit I ordered a ham and cheese omelet - I could only eat about a quarter of it because it was so big! It was also well flavored and perfectly cooked. They have a big menu with some unique offerings (stuffed hash browns!). The pancakes are also great.

We went here last night and had the best meal! Server was extremely nice. There wasn't a thing we didn't like! Ordered the best fried clams in batter, Cajun shrimp, Cajun haddock Cobb salad, hamburg steak with smothered onions, ribs, and French onion soup. All of it was delicious!

    Inside-- cute decorations!

Once again, my food came as I went to the bathroom (isn't that how it always happens?) and I missed the opportunity to grab a picture because I was just too hungry! This is a fun little spot. It was nicely decorated, felt warm and welcoming, and our food came relatively quickly. I tried the station platter which came with two eggs, 3 strips of bacon (or 2 sausage patties,) choice of potato (I got hash browns), choice of biscuit with gravy or toast (I got the biscuit with gravy), and choice of pancake, french toast, or crepe! (Of course I got the crepe!) I was hungryyyy and ate this entire meal! I loved the options they had and that we were able to go in after noon and still get breakfast! They had a good selection for kids meals and lunch food as well. I had heard great things about this spot and was not disappointed. They also appeared to offer some specialty cocktails and coffees (think mimosas or Irish coffees) however I did not try one. I LOVED that they had tobasco hot sauce on all the tables along with syrup, creamer, jelly, ketchup, etc. so you don't have to wait and ask for it when your food comes! :) I will say, when we got there, we did end up having to wait probably 10-15 minutes for a table. There was a second door that people came into while we were still waiting and they pretty much welcomed themselves to a table before we were even sat which was a bit irritating but we got sat immediately after and I don't blame the staff for how things worked out! Will definitely be coming in again to try some more items!

Specific Timing - Lunch at The Lost Kitchen (Tuesday, August 26, 2026)…read more Many have asked about how the "no reservations" walk-in lunches work at "The Little Lost Kitchen". So here's our recent experience, down to the minute! (Click on individual photos below for more details). We arrived at the parking lot at about 10:30AM on Tuesday August 26. I counted 30 folks on line ahead of us at 10:35. The first was positioned at the foot of the bridge on the parking lot side. At 11:00AM, I turned around and counted 50 folks behind us! An employee came out and started walking down the line, taking names and party sizes. At 11:10, they sent the "first wave" of 25 people over bridge. They explained they don't want folks waiting on the middle of the bridge, so they only send over as many as they can easily handle in the Ordering area. At 11:25, they sent over a "second wave" including my party. I got to the Ordering Counter and placed my order at 11:45AM. The food started coming out to our table shortly after. Salad right away, soup next, then the fried chicken basket. We finished our lunch right around 12:45, and as we went back across the bridge, I counted about 25 folks on line. So there were actually much fewer people at 12:45 then at 10:45. (Of course, all the dining tables were full, so people were likely being seated much slower that during the initial big opening). The entire experience and food was terrific as many others have posted! The stated "Open Hours" are Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 to 2:30. I asked if they really went to 2:30PM, and a staffer said yes, but you probably would not want to show up too much later than say 1:30 to avoid being rushed or finding some items sold out. Someone else posted in this group that staffers have said 1 to 1:30 is a very good time to show up. As for dates, I've heard lunch service will run into October, but I don't know a specific date and that's been addressed in other posts (a search in this group for "October" will likely do the trick). Our Lunch: Heirloom Tomatoes - Fresh Burrata, Basil, Charred Lemon Vinaigrette, Flaky Salt   Carrot & Coriander Soup - Bread & Butter   Summer Caesar - Farm Fresh Romaine Head, Purple Basil, Pecorino, Toast Crumbles   Cornflake & Fennel Pollen Fried Chicken - Cabbage Slaw, Homemade Biscuit & Honey Butter   Blueberry & Peach Shortcake - Candied Ginger, Whipped Cream

We started with a margarita - I got the spicy margarita and my wife got the special which was an orange cinnamon Margarita - she loved it and mine was excellent as well. Each was also a large serving - not in some tiny little glass for too much money as sometimes happens. We started with the buffalo roasted cauliflower, and we loved it. Too many times this dish is ruined by heavy breading for the cauliflower or having it be too oily and greasy. This one was lightly roasted and full of flavor served with a side of blue cheese dressing. Because it was happy hour (which is 4 to 630 on Thursday, Friday and Monday), we were able to order a two topping pizza for $17. The mushroom and ham topping was just right everything was cooked perfectly. We have our own Ooni Koda 16 pizza oven, and I make my own dough, so we're pretty particular about pizza. Everything about the pizza is just right though, sauce, toppings, and the bake in the pizza oven in the back. I'm definitely gonna be a regular here just for the pizza. We each got a glass of wine to have with the pizza, and my wife's white wine was pretty good, but my red had probably been open more than one or two days prior and wasn't especially great. I hope that the owners invest in a nitrogen in ear system of some sort - they're not expensive or hard to use. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and they helped us quickly get an order in before the end of happy hour which we appreciated. This is a fantastic and needed addition to the Kingfield / CV area
