I went to here with my friend last week on our way back from a wedding at Sugarloaf Mountain. We…read morehad initially drove by this place, and decided to keep on going because we assumed it was yet another dispensary on these rural Maine roads. I got a falafel roll, and it was very, very nice. They seemed to read my mind and make about half of it pickled onions. I also tried their kombucha, which was definitely not as good as I was hoping for. Their cornbread, which has maple on top (or something similar, I can't recall) was also not as good as I was expecting it to be. The bathroom is difficult to find and it is bike themed once you get in there. There were not many people at the place and it still took a long time to get the food, but we were not in a hurry so this was totally fine by us and we got to enjoy their lovely seating area outside. I would go back to this place, but if there was anywhere else in this town that looked as good as this place did, I would probably try that first next time. They wraps were, however, fantastic.

Ooooohhh awesome eats and drinks!! Stopped in for some late afternoon lunch-upper as we call it-…read moredelicious! Cheeseburger fatty and a Falafel fatty bowl & some chips, guac and salsa too! Margarita was just what the Doctor ordered! Don't hesitate to get there, don't do a random drive past; drive right in! Oh and we watched a Monarch butterfly on the neighboring flowers; an incredible apres' sugarloaf chairlift treat on this glorious summer like day in October ;)

I love weird bars--they're my favorite. For a while I thought there weren't any to be had around…read morecentral Maine. Enter Easy Street. I would love to know where they get the decor for this place. I'd imagine a lot of flea markets (fabulous ones)? It's hard to pick my favorite decor item because there are so many, but it's somewhere between the chairs shaped like hands and the giant silver octopus tentacle under the T.V. Ooo and the corner with all the clowns! Drinks are strong and cheap. The bartenders are friendly. There's a patio, but it's a bit small. There are plenty of comfy chairs/couches. They have live music pretty often, so if that's your thing, you'll be happy there on weekend nights. The only thing is the space is kind of small for live music, so it can get really loud. This is an excellent chill option if you're in Hallowell and want to skip bars that tend to get a bit fratty like The Quarry Taproom. Highly recommend!

I don't get to spend a lot of tine in Hallowell anymore since I moved away from the area in 2010,…read morebut it seems as though every time I do, we somehow end up at Easy Street. Friends of ours wanted to play some pool after we had dinner nearby at Lucky Garden, so we did exactly that. It was a slow night and no one was waiting for the table, so we played about 4 or 5 games and had a lovely time. The decor is awesome, the bar is clean, and the staff were friendly. I've always had a good time here, and I enjoy the artwork too!
