Bistro French Onion Soup
Lindsay C.

I came to the drive threw for the Bistro French Onion Soup . I asked if the bead bowl contained the cup size or bowl size soup. She said cup size so I ordered the bowl size and purchased a bread bowl. Cheese was already in the soup but the croutons were on the side . Got home . The bowl size was very small ! Especially for $9 and $3 for the bread . The soup tasted fine but very expensive and small . Not sure I'd have it again . The service was minimal . What happened to this place ? Used to be 5 star

Spicy Thai Chicken Salad

I have been to several Panera Breads during my travel and this one is no different from a decor and location perspective. This location is adjacent to the Auburn Mall between St. Mary's Urgent Care Center and the Town-fare Tire. The dining area is kept pretty clean, especially in the winter time, with all the snow, salt and dirt tracked in from each customer. This location does have a drive thru which I believe takes as long as it would if you went inside and ordered to go. It is convenient if you prefer not to get out of your car. Their selection of soups is good and I don't see any difference than the other locations I been to. I especially like their sandwiches, the Turkey Bravo, is one of my favorites, and their salads are quite large as well. I had the Thai chicken salad once and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to finish it all as the to go box was the size of a bento box at your typical Japanese restaurant. The staff is very friendly and I have not had any concerns or issues with the customer service or how I was treated.

Pepperoni flat breads (pizza)

Delicious! The flat bread reminds me of a NY slice. The cheese pulls and the pepperoni is just right. Tasty and pleasantly surprised. Employees are usually nice here. The crust is crunchy. I could've used some red chili flakes. I'll have this again in the near future!

I like the food at Panera, and usually it is well organized. But this Panera is never staffed sufficiently and the waits are ridiculous.

Wild Oats was the perfect surprise stop on our road trip from Portland to Bar Harbor. We pulled off…read morein Brunswick for a quick break and ended up having one of the best coffee experiences of the entire trip. I walked in thinking I'd order something simple, but Jocelyn somehow anticipated exactly what I wanted before I even said it -- an oatmeal latte with honey infused right into the espresso. It was warm, silky, lightly sweet, and honestly one of the most thoughtful, dialed‑in drinks I've had anywhere. You can tell when someone really knows their craft, and she absolutely does. We also grabbed the curried chicken sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance of creamy and bright. It's the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid‑bite and go, "Wait... this is really good." The whole place has that cozy‑local‑favorite energy -- friendly staff, great food, and the kind of coffee that makes you want to reroute your trip just to come back again. If you're driving through Freeport, Camden, or anywhere along the coast, Wild Oats is 100% worth the detour.

The brick and wooden beam architecture from the old milll remains which provides such an aesetically pleasing atmosphere. It is great that this building has been able to be repurposed . We sat at the bar which is a full bar. My son dines here often and recommened some dishes he had tried. There were many dishes on the menu I wanted to try! Garlic knots were the first things out and they were very tasty and addictive. My son decided on the linguini carbonara, although not a classic carbonara dish, it remains one of his favorites. I tried it and it was creamy, indulgent, fresh, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. I chose the gnocchi with in house made bolognese sauce topped with ricotta cheese. I loved it and it tasted even better heated up the next day. Entrees come with a choice of soup or salad; he went with the salad and I had the homemade Italian wedding soup. We were both pleased with our choices. The portions were quite generous, service was on point all evening, and the entire establishment and restrooms were immaculately clean and well organized. Large parking lot, but heard it fills up fast at this popular spot. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We sat at the bar, where the bartenders were attentive, friendly, and truly a step above. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, which made the experience feel effortless and welcoming. The food was delicious as always. I enjoyed the simple yet perfectly executed fettuccine Alfredo, and my husband loved his eggplant panini. And of course, those garlic notes were absolutely drool-worthy!
