Great food Great service…read moreGreat cozy cafe space I'm so glad I finally made it here with a friend for our monthly diners club meeting. I loved it so much that I came back the next day with my husband. I loved the benedict I loved the pancake I loved the scone! Best in the area! I can't wait to try the BBQ sometime soon. It's just a matter of getting there before it sells out. There's indoor and outdoor seating. There is the potential of a wait if you arrive mid morning. Just a warning. It is worth the wait!

We had the Mexican stuffed pepper with focaccia bread and the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. The Mexican Stuffed Pepper was the special of the day, and was to die for. It was a fresh and savory choice and the star of the meal was the fresh FRESH focaccia bread that was simply amazing! The chicken bacon ranch sandwich was served on an amazingly flavorful and fresh rosemary bread, and came with a small bag of kettle cooked chips and a delightful pickle slice. The drip coffee options were plentiful and flavorful. Cafe 1055 is an amazing place to stop in for breakfast or lunch! Take time to make the trip, trust me, it's Totally worth it!!!

Cold brew was good and well priced but the strawberry rhubarb turnover was absolutely excellent and the star of the show. I looked at the worker and she had said that they…read morehad no more foil bags but that shouldn't have been the issue if she had taken the time to put it in the bag more gently. Also at this location a previous time in the drive-thru, my boyfriend and I had ordered 2 of the same drink, a breakfast sandwich and a grilled cheese pretzel.. we were handed 1 drink and a plain soft pretzel when the receipt on my app said otherwise, so I went back in and they were polite and got me what I needed and didn't feel like I had to leave a review that time but it could always be used as feedback to learn from these mistakes. I've never had an issue with receiving my drink or food at an aroma joes until I started coming to this one, as a regular of Lisbon St. I'm not sure if training is different for different locations but I think that the people here could be more attentive when listening to the order, assembling the order, and handing it out making sure all items are there and look presentable. Even for the order I had with missing items i'm sure it could've been prevented with even simply repeating the order back to the customer when receiving the order and handing it back out.

They'll make another one. The prices are reasonable. The toppings are generous. The cheesy bread is the best. It has that old school pizzeria feeling, in a basement, with simple tables and chairs. Service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. Almost left the place, just because the…read moreservice was so bad from the start. First time here, so did not know what to expect. Turns out, one is expected to grab a couplet menus and find a seat for yourself. The instructions about this were a bit rude. Found a table, checked out the menu, and went to the counter to place an order. Asked a question about the sausage they use ( there is a local company that makes great sausage) and got a shoulder shrug response. Between our two plates, we received sausage, bacon, ham, and steak breakfast meats. Would not recommend any of them. Point of sale is a tablet device, and I was informed - rudely- that no printed receipt is available. The tablet did indicate that the assumed tip choices were 20/25/30 % for counter service. Overall, prices are not terrible. If the service were decent, this could be a decent place. The menu appears to have some interesting lunch options. I noticed there was a lot of take-out activity happening. Might be an ok place to grab a lunch if working downtown area. There are some nice views out the large windows to watch traffic of the downtown area. The floors were very dirty. Every table in the place had food underneath, and we stepped over a lot of potatoes between the door and the table we chose. Menu pics included for information. With a better service experience, this place has some potential for ok food at ok prices.
