5 stars isnt enough!!! Bene's is the BEST. Seriously, this place is a whole vibe. Great music, great people, and some seriously good food. There aren't many places where they know me by name, but somehow I went from "just checking the place out" to full-blown regular status pretty damn quick. Every time I walk in, I feel welcomed like I'm part of the family I'm honestly glad I found this beef joint. I've yet to order anything that I wouldn't happily crush again. The food is consistently on point, and my personal favorite has to be the Jack Burton. That thing is fire. But honestly, you really can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. And you can tell TJ, the owner, genuinely gives a damn about what he's doing. He's clearly passionate about the food and the place, and he doesn't cut corners. You can taste the difference. Bottom line: good food, good music, good people, and a place that makes you feel at home. What more do you want? If you haven't been to Bene's yet, get your ass over there. There aren't many places that are unique enough that you won't find anything like it around. This is one of them. Located in a gas station a few minutes from downtown, with very little parking, cash only, with very little seating, is this blast from the past. Steeped in 80s and 90s nostalgia, with a Conan the Barbarian inspired logo on the gas station digital display outside, you'll find the ultimate savory sweet meal in the state. You'd expect to find a spot like this in downtown Manhattan, or near Boston. It is a family owned and operated sandwich shop that specializes in making sure you don't leave hungry. Service is quick and sometimes hectic, but they take care of you. Tell them what you want and they will give it to you. More or less sauce. Beef cooked a little more than rare. Fries well done. My go to is the Jack Burton, but you can't leave without fries. Greek fries or cheese fries with gravy. Make sure you bring a few things: your appetite and cash. It isn't cheap, but it is incredibly filing so order wisely. Truly one of a kind place that you need to check out at least once. read more

Showed up on a Saturday at noon. No parking, no room to even get inside after having to wait. Walked in disappointed. Got home with the food, and happy I endured the wait. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Definitely best roast beef ever experienced. Take the chance. I ended up wearing gloves for the experience and man the flavor was worth it very penny. Only minor disaster was the cheese sauce from the cheese fries came flying outa the container on the ride. But still the chef knows his shit in the kitchen without a doubt. Only been there once the roast beef was amazing but they put way too much sauce on the sandwich for me. Had a conversation with some of my friends afterwards and they agree (too much sauce.) it makes the sandwich unable to pick up and enjoy. read more

Family of 8 and traveled from oob to try this guy's roast beef out and wooow I see these guys going nation wide.a huge huge mound of rare roast beef shaved to order with the tastiest sauce choices out there with lightly deep fried onions on an absolutly perfectly grilled bun.i personally had to remove half of my roast beef to open wide enough but it all got in there eventually later on! Went to this place for the first time last Saturday. It's attached to gas station and the inside is tiny and it's now stuck in my brain. I can't stop thinking about heading out there again this Saturday. The sandwich was amazing. The beef was so juicy and so good, the BBQ sauce matched it perfectly and the fries were incredible.
