I feel very conflicted as I write this review, but as someone who prides themselves on being honest in their Yelp reviews, I am going to say what is going through my mind. The food is great, but not excellent. The service is ok, but not great. The position size is over the top and not skimping. Having said all that here is how I came to this conclusion. The day I went, there was one person working the front of the house seating guests, taking phone orders, taking orders, delivering the order and bussing the tables. He was extremely nice and obviously was working hard to take care of his customers, but it did require us to wait longer times between receiving our drinks to when the food arrived and we were able to get our check. For appetizers we ordered the vegetable spring roll and the chicken satay. The vegetable spring role was dry and needed hoisin to make it easier to consume. The chicken satay, I could have eaten a dozen of those. That was the best part about the entire meal. My wife and I both ordered Pho. Hers was all veggies and I had the house large. Mine included steak, beansprout, scallion, beef, onion, flank, tendon, tripe, cilantro and veggies. The tripe was inedible. It was so touch I couldn't even chew it. The steak was good. Flank was ok and tendon was a bit chewy as well. The bowl was so big that I couldn't finish half of it and had to take the rest home. I feel bad in one sense because the owners are very sweet and they put a lot of effort into their food, but they jus fell short on this occasion. I am willing to go back and give them a second chance, but compared to some other places I have had Pho, they are in the middle, but not on the bottom. They are worth trying again in the hopes they correct some of the items I mentioned above. read more

Unfortunately we won't return. Pad Thai was VERY sweet and I can only describe it as if you imagine Pad Thai coming in a can. My husband always finishes his Pho and only made it a few bites. Steak was hard to chew and fatty. We are leaving hungry. We had to interrupt their tv watching to pay the bill after waiting a long time for someone to come over. This place is amazing, fresh, deep flavors, crips veggies! Nothing bad can be said about the food. You can tell it's been there for a while, the decor is traditional it's quiet and welcoming inside. But the service and menu could use some work. The woman took a very long time. We asked for the bill about 5min after my son finally got his "fresh squeezed lemonade." It was obviously made with some kind of limeade syrup that was all settled and thick at the bottom of the cup and strangely warmish. 5 stars is because the quality of food deserves it and maybe if it's busier they'll hire servers with experience and a sense of urgency. read more

I do recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good Vietnamese and Thai food my favorite is the pad Thai a little spicy. It is a little expensive a little over $20. Very delicious. The service is OK. They seem friendly in the atmosphere usually busy but feels warming and I would recommend if you don't mind spending a little bit extra money for a good pad Thai the only thing that I could recommend the the restaurant to do is the lower their price is a little bit. This is our local place for pho! It's about 25 minutes from our house and the place we frequent most when looking for something warm and yummy. The menu options are great, not just for pho but for other food items as well. Our favorites include the fresh spring rolls and chicken satay appetizer. Portions are generous and the owners/workers are always friendly and helpful. We've not dined in but the restaurant itself is clean with a decent amount of table space. One cool thing I experienced the last time I ordered here was that, despite their internet being down, leading to the inability to accept cards, because I didn't have cash on me, they were also accepting venmo payments. Pretty convenient for the younger generations in my opinion and helpful for technical issues as well. read more

In fact, we were having such a good time, and enjoying the food so much, forgot to take photos. We will be back, and get some photos for an update. It pains me to say this, but things just aren't adding up for me. First of all, the food and drinks I've had from here are all very delicious! Unfortunately, I feel like I have to point out discrepancies. At the price point, I expect more. The overall ambiance is lacking greatly! You don't get any complementary extra service upon arrival (my regular place serves everyone a complimentary cup of egg drop soup). On top of that they serve specialty beverages in plastic to go cups. I am used to places serving café su da brewed at the table to pour over ice. For the prices of the food here they should have the AC running during the summer if they are serving HOT pho! read more

Found this place on Apple Maps while planning a road trip with my family (wife + 11-month-old son). We stopped here for dinner after driving most of the day, with mixed expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and waving and smiling at my son which really gave my wife and I a chance to eat and get a break while he was entertained and smiling. It's hard eating out with a baby, so we're really thankful to the staff. The pho is good and filling. It's not the best pho I've ever had, but definitely hits the spot and ticks all the marks for good pho. I have a crustacean allergy, and the staff helped me adjusting my initial order to something that would be safe for me. As for parents traveling with toddlers/infants, they have highchairs. There are gender neutral individual bathrooms (kind of like a family restroom in some places). So, it was an amazing place to change a diaper (privacy, both partners can go in with the baby if you have one that doesn't sit still). Definitely will keep this place saved for future road trips through the area. read more

Me and my family went there recently I ordered the pho and as my wife did also and the children had rice with some pork (not much! 4 ozs of pork? and some vegetable rolls! The food is very good! came out timely! but the price was way out there! Fir Lewiston!! I Go to Portland quite often! their large bowl of pho in Portland cost me $13! this place in Lewiston cost me $17! definitely on the high side! I won't be going there often! Unless prices come down! Last night 10/28/23, we ordered shrimp spring rolls, 1 large combo pho, and 2 large bun Bo Huế, 1 vegetables stir fried. Ghosh! they tasted terrible for the price of $20 per bowl. Pho has no taste and no aromas. Bun Bo Huế was cake with oil on top of bowls, awful smell and milky dark. The shrimp spring rolls only has 1 shrimp cut in half roll with shredded iceberg lettuces dipping into salty hoisin sauce. Hot tea came out after we finished the meal so what is the point? We paid, stood up and prepped to walk toward door. The Vietnamese owner said bye to a group of people before us. Then we started walking toward the front door. He ignored us and not saying "bye" to us. We got it. The services were SUCKS too! read more

I really like this place. I am a traditional pho fan and they do not disappoint. The Pho portion is more then enough. With my young daughter in tow they suggested bringing out a smaller bowl which was a great call. Everything was fresh from basil, bean sprouts, lime, and all the accoutrements. I asked for hot chili oil with mine they did not disappoint. The greeter was on top of service and the food came out quickly. We also asked for a to go order when we left and she helped to pack up our leftovers and was sure to add them with our to go order.
