Beware!! Travel here from NYC for a pit stop to get comfort food. A group of us was waiting to be seated, in the meanwhile we asked the host if there were any outside seating available for kids. The host said no. So, we ordered our food to go instead of dine in. As we picking up our orders, the host brushed us off and said "oh, your food is over there, you can go now." I then asked if there are utensils inside for the group, she replied "yeah." But when I opened the bag to double check, there was only ONE chopsticks for 5 orders and no napkins! Went back to grab more chopsticks and some napkins, she gave us an attitude. So rude. Final note, the food was decent, but overall experience with the staff was not great at all. I've gone to this restaurant many times in the past. Today I called in to order the pork rice plate and the house PHO. Currently we're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport, which is about 10 miles away and about 18 minutes to get there. Well, I've never had any issues with to go orders until today. When I called in I ordered the pork rice plate and the house PHO, but I didn't check the order to make sure it was right. I haven't had any issues before. But when I get back to the hotel, my wife pulled out the pork rice plate and instead of being a pork rice plate it was pork fried rice. I never mentioned pork fried rice when I called in. So I called back and asked to have the order remade and initially the owner wanted me to pay for it. Well, then I told her I'm gonna cancel the order through my credit card. And after a few more minutes, they said I could come and get the order the correct order. But when I get there, I bring the pork fried rice into the restaurant and the gal that originally took my odor on the phone, said that I could keep it. Well, as I was walking out, the owner told the gal to take the fried rice. She needs to have her head examined for all of the miscommunication and no compensation for my having to drive back-and-forth from the hotel, about 45 minutes of my time. Needless to say this is the last order we will be placing with this restaurant. Besides, I saw the pork that they're using can be bought at Costco and it cost about two dollars to make the whole plate and they're charging $17. It's a rip off I tell you. read more

Tis the season of bone chilling cold weather, which I love don't get me wrong! It's also my season of Pho! Lucky for me Little Saigon is right down the street from where I work. So I placed an order for TWO small rare beef pho and an order of fresh pork spring rolls. Sorry, I forgot a pic of the spring rolls. I was busy noshing those while preparing my bowl of delicious goodness at home. My ONLY complaint is they never put sauces in the bag. Hoisin, or chili paste, they did remember chopsticks this time. I do keep hoisin at home but I would've like to have had a little more heat. I will keep a bottle of paste at home now as well The broth from this place is awesome. We got takeout one night during our trip to Maine. Not many places were open at 8 pm and wanting some vegetarian fare, we ended up zeroing in on Little Saigon. We ordered the summer tofu roll and the basil fried rice over the phone. It didn't look like there was any way to order online. The summer roll was good especially (and only) with the peanut dipping sauce. The veggies were fresh but the tofu was dried out. The sauce was flavorful. The fried rice was disappointing because it had no flavor. It lacked salt and any seasoning and since we were eating in a hotel room, we couldn't add anything. I'd still say, this is a good choice if you're looking for an 8 pm eat. read more

Wish I could give this more stars . Everything here is wonderful. The staff is so great ! The owner and chef came out to greet us . The food is fresh and delicious and the potions are enormous and the price is reasonable.My leftovers filled a regular take out container so it was enough for a second meal . The restaurant is small but very nice. They have the best homemade potstickers I have ever had and the Vietnamese coffee is perfect. The Pad Thai was very good a bit different from what I have had other places but excellent. The house bun was plentiful and full of delicious meat and veggies . The small Pho is a very large portion and all fresh. Unfortunately I did not get photos but the presentation of the food is beautiful . Wonderful staff, nice, homey ambiance and prompt service. And the food.... 5 stars!! From the grilled shrimp, grilled calamari, meatballs and papaya salad appetizer .. phenomenal! We shared an order of pork and shrimp egg rolls that were very good. For entrees each of us chose small bowls of vegetable pho that included tofu, baby corn, broccoli, bok choy and carrot in a delicious vegatable broth. Hands down, this Vietnamese food was the best I've ever had! We had chicken pad Thai, spring rolls, and homemade pork potstickers... we could tell the ingredients were fresh. The presentation was exquisite, and the flavors were absolutely phenomenal. Favorites: Bun nam vang, rice crepes w/ pork, spring rolls w/ shrimp, & fried summer rolls. Pro tip for takeout pho: heat the broth up to boiling separately, then pour it over the noodles & protein, even if it feels hot enough when you get home. The heat dissipates, & you'll end up w/ clumpy lukewarm soup otherwise. Do not boil the broth together w/ the noodles, or they'll get gummy. read more

They are fast, their food is so good and if you eat-in the dining room has a very nice, modern and cozy ambiance (sadly since having little ones, it's been more of our go-to take out than dine-in). Unreal. I came here a few years ago and had the best pho I'd ever had in maine. I came back ready to be disappointed-- maybe I was just really hungry that day? But I got the same I always do -- the house pho, with beef, meatballs, & generous amounts of succulent tendon. I now think they have the best pho I've had anywhere. Everything was well packaged, including providing us with utensils without needing to request it. While the portions were good, I didn't think anything was noteworthy. Stopped by here on my way back home after a 2 day vacation filled with lobsters and lobster rolls. The outdoor seating was nice but was full so we were seated inside. Prices are very reminiscent of home and portions also. However the pho broth was very strong on the cinnamon and nutmeg and had to add a lot of hoisin and sriracha to cut it back. First, try the fresh spring rolls.. the fried are nice, too but then you'd lose the cilantro/basil/lettuce flavors. We've been here a dozen times and pleased each time. Seafood phò and the house (beef) phò are wonderful. The Bún section is great, the roast pork fried rice is delicious. Two adults, one appetizer, drinks and dinner $46. Lunch the other day- 2 adults, 1 appy, two meals, $33. Prices are not bad at all, service is great and the food is excellent. I was recently in the Lewiston/Auburn area for work and was craving some pho. I didn't want to drive all the way to Portland , so did a quick search and found this place. Although it was about a 35 min drive from Lewiston decided to give it a shot, and it definitely was worth the drive. Inside it is small but cozy and nicely decorated. The waitress promptly seated me and was very courteous. I decided to get the Shrimp spring rolls and the large House Pho The spring rolls are very fresh, delicious and goes great with the peanut sauce. The shrimp was fresh and tasty. I added some siracha into the peanut sauce and that elevated it to another level! Now to the House Pho, which basically is their combination pho, with a little of everything like beef brisket, rare beef, meatball, tendons etc. the broth was on point, very flavorful and has depth of flavor that many other pho's lack. You can tell they made the broth correctly by stewing it for several hours. Overall excellent dish I'd say it was definitely worth the 35 min drive and am definitely stopping by again the next time I'm in town for work. read more

Everything about this place is YUM! My wife and I are picky about certain foods. Pho and Pad Thai are at the top of the list. They nailed it here. Pad thai was super full of flavor with plenty of sauce, and the veggie pho was out of this world. It was probably the best I have ever had (and I have had a lot). Met up with 2 friends for dinner at Little Saigon on a summer Monday night. The staff was friendly and we were seated right away, decided to sit inside as it was a particularly hot night, even though they have plenty of outdoor seating. We started with cocktails. I ordered the Mai tai, enjoyed it. We then moved to three orders of fresh spring rolls, I went with shrimp. Spring rolls were solid, came with a peanut dipping sauce, which I vastly prefer over the sweet/hot sauce. For my main, I went with the bun vermicelli. This was a very pleasant surprise. There was the usual noodle and vegetable layer, covered with all kinds of protein and a spring roll. It was very good and so filling, I took most of it home.
