We walked up to Station 118 with our 3 young kids (including 1 in a stroller) for some Saturday afternoon drinks and appetizers. What a phenomenal experience. Our waitress was Mattie and she provided the best service we have had in a long long time. We will actively seek a table in her section for future visits. Her drink recommendation was the apple cider margarita and it was absolutely delicious. 10/10 would recommend. We shared an order of the corn ribs and they were fantastic. One of the funniest and most creative appetizers we have had in or near Rockland and would definitely order them again. The atmosphere and ambience on the covered patio is awesome, you get a bit of people watching with the foot traffic going by, just an all around cozy and awesome spot. The entirety of the staff was beyond friendly and accommodating with our kids. Can't wait to visit again!

If there were a way to give 10 stars I would. I am picky and I consider myself a foodie! I seek out some of the best wings and chicken sandwiches everywhere I go. The wings and chicken sandwich were unmatched. if you like a crispy wing with mind blowing flavor these wings are unforgettable! The chicken sandwich was the best I've ever had (I've had a lot!) A smoked chicken thigh that is batter dipped and fried! The ranch was and the pickles just made the sandwich! The ribs fell off the bone and had such incredible flavor. The pulled pork was also out of this world and for those who aren't about smoke, the fish and chips and hot dogs were also terrific! We have family in the area and will look forward to our next trip to Maine so we can stop here again!

The "cheese" that came WITH, not on my hot dog. I think it was queso from a can with a layer of oil or grease on the top.

Awful. I gave this restaurant 2 tries..... I got chili cheese dogs for $14 and this is what they served. I dont know if it was cheese or queso from a can but I wouldn't feed it to a dog! Who puts pearl onions on chili that suppose to go on a hot dog??? Huh? No seasoning...gross! Wings were also over cooked and dry. No real seasoning, just lots of salt.

    Chicken wings.....yummy!!

This place is great! Great menu, great food, great service and great vibe. Not stuffy like some of the restaurants in the mid coast area.

The brisket and pulled pork was also excellent. Even the sides were admirable, especially the beans. Definitely order the beans! They do tend to run out of food (while we were there, they ran out of ribs and brisket), so you might want to come earlier in lunch. I also liked the eating set up alot. Well spaced and pleasant, you can see the harbor. Overall, if we are in the area again, we'd make it a point to come here. One thing though. The counter girl (who was cheery and nice) held up the tablet and asked which button she should press for you when it came to the tip. Now I'm going up to the window to order food, i'm fetching my own food and busing my own table. What I'm tipping for, I'm not really sure, but the way its done, it makes you feel like a heel if you don't cough up the same tip as a full service restaurant waiter would get. A bit mishegoss, not worth taking off a star though.

Naturally, had a huge chip on my shoulder about the quality of the food, but was tired of seafood deep fried or drowned in mayo. The place was a godsend. Place was busy, but the staff rolled with the punches and communicated well so we were never wondering or wanting. They had live music which appeared to be locals having a ball. Usually not a fan of beer joints trying to pass themselves off as gastro-destinations, but these guys nailed it on all cylinders. Jalapenos in the beans was a big surprise and a trick we're taking back home with us. Don't miss this place!

When we walked in, the hostess let us know that they were short staffed but we could be seated. We were very understanding and could see that it was literally just her and one other person serving 3-4 different large seating areas. It was crazy for them but they made it work and got those tables flipped quickly without rushing anyone. We decided to sit inside the covered patio area because it was cold and it was so cute! The lighting and decor was a great vibe. It didn't take long for our server to come take our drink order. We ordered a blueberry soda (my very first Maine blueberry item!!!) and a beer. The blueberry soda was INCREDIBLE!!!!! I am so upset that we didn't order a 6 pack to take back to the AirBnb and I'm still kicking myself. The beer was also really good which I'm sure has to do with the fact that this Mainely Meat location is attached to Atlantic Brewing who also make my soda. It's a match made in heaven. For food, I ordered the sausage meal with coleslaw and baked beans and my wife ordered a bowl which usually comes with pulled pork, beans and coleslaw but she subbed the coleslaw for more cornbread. Both of them were reallyyyyyy good. We took home less than half of it just because we were stuffed. The coleslaw was amazingly balanced. It wasn't sweet and didn't go too hard on the mayo and the beans were equally incredible. They had chunks of meat in them, only adding to the smokiness. 10/10, we would absolutely be back!!

The place was clean and nice. And the foods flavor was good. Now, the bad. While the flavor of the food was good, the food itself wasn't. Everything was extremely dry. We got the hush puppies to start and the sampler to try a little of everything. It was like a desert it was so dry. The hush puppies, chicken, ribs, brisket (which was more like pulled pork because they shred it for some reason) corn bread, and somehow both the coleslaw and baked beans, too. The only way this happens is if they make things earlier in the day and then everything just sits. Meaning it's not freshly made. As I mentioned, it was not very busy, so I'm assuming they make their food in advance and let it sit in pans over heat all day. Which is not what you do with BBQ. It's quite disappointing because the flavor is there. The spices they use were a southern flavor, which is good; but it's so dry, you'll be reenacting the scene from Christmas Vacation just to eat your food. They should consider either limiting their hours they are open to help not have food sitting around to dry out or reconsidering how the make their food. Dry BBQ is the worst, hopefully they'll make the appropriate changes.

The mac & cheese was fair, it just wasn't my normal style, but the BBQ made up for it. Obviously fresh and perfectly smoked. I don't think we could've stopped by the stand on a more beautiful, perfect day! Enjoy sitting outdoors by the food stand under a clean and well covered picnic area. The desserts were also fantastic and I recommend the key lime pie when it's available.
