For a smelly, hole in the wall restaurant, this one has magic. The tots were so amazing. Black garlic sauce? Yes, please. (Get lots of napkins.) The pimento sandwich was tasty, with house made pimento cheese. The chicken on it was delicious. I got a snack wrap with hot sauce . It was huge and filling--enough for a meal. We ended up eating half of everything because there was so much on each. Holy cow, so good!!!! Get it to go. Very good fried chicken sandwiches. They serve only thighs, so the meat is tender and juicy. There are many varieties: Classic, which is lettuce, tomato, and mayo. We also had the China Fortune with asian coleslaw, and general Tso's sauce. Sandwiches are great, but very expensive for a sandwich on essentially a burger bun. If they were $10 I would buy them again, but at almost $14 each, I would look elsewhere. read more

Honey's turns out a pretty outstanding sandwich. It's really big, crunchy, very good chicken (so good it's super tasty the next day as leftovers). The choices are very cool. The problem here is, the place is dirty. MB needs to get some people in who know how to clean better, esp the sticky bottles on the table, the floor etc. Hoping this happens for the summer. The place itself is cute. Clean, friendly staff, and everyone seemed to be happy to be there. This was my first time eating there and definitely not my last. Although the "Nashville Hot" was disappointing (keep in mind I'm a southerner and love spicy) because it was not spicy at all, the chicken itself was pretty good. Luckily they have a hot sauce shelf and was able to add a little heat myself. We also ordered the gyro tots and they were delicious. All and all it was a good place to eat and I give it five stars. What an amazing fried chicken sandwich. The flavor and the additional sauces are good but no need due to the flavor on the chicken.

I am obsessed with this place. It has the interior design of a Wendy's and the flavor profile of Primo. Their fried chicken that is so delicious that one requires total silence while you eat it so you can focus on each bite. I want to try every sandwich on the menu, and I'm not even that adventurous, but I just trust Honeys Chicken so deeply with my dinning experience. My favorite so far is the China Fortune, it literally changed my life. I said "wow" out loud, alone. It's fast, unpretentious, everyone is nice, cool drink selection. I have been wanting to try Honey's for quite some time. Recently, I started working nearby and I figured it would be the perfect chance to try. My first order was placed through DoorDash and I got the fried chicken snack wrap with honey mustard. I also got blackened ranch on the side. I LOVED it. Remember back in the day when a well-known fast food place offered these? Well, imagine that but 1000x better with fresh and delicious ingredients. I was content with the honey mustard but I had a few dips of the wrap into the blackened ranch also, and that sauce was incredible. They're clearly homemade sauces. A week or so later (today), I decided to try one of their fried chicken sandwiches. I opted for the "China fortune". It's with general Tso's sauce, slaw, peanuts, and a hot mustard aoli on a toasted sesame bun. I also ordered fries and a side of honey mustard to dip them in. My first impression of this chicken sandwich was "wow, that's a massive piece of chicken!" It's clearly an entire fried chicken thigh. I'm happy they choose chicken thighs because they're so moist and flavorful. The fries are obviously your regular old crinkle cuts. I was really hoping for some super crispy, homemade fries, but oh well. My strategy for eating this massive sandwich was to eat around the edges to get all of the fried chicken into a uniform shape in the bun. The chicken was perfectly fried and juicy. To be honest though, I was really expecting a much more powerful flavor experience during those first few bites. I told myself that it must be because I wasn't eating all components together and I would get that "OMG THIS IS AMAZING" bite when I had a bite with all components together. Unfortunately, even when I had a bite with all components, there was something still missing. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, and I continued to go back for more bites even an hour later when it was cold. The missing component for me was acidity. I thought the slaw would give a nice acidic punch but it fell short. Perhaps it's just my personal preference though. So to add what I was missing, I dipped the sandwich in the honey mustard that I got for the fries. This did the trick. While you can definitely taste the Asian flavors in this sandwich, it just fell a little short for me. Otherwise, I love their chicken and can't wait to try their other unique options! read more
