The first time I walked through Ziggy's pizza shop false freezer door, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall vibe of the lounge and enjoyed the light up dance floor and sounds and lights coming off the pinball machines. Drinks and beers were tasty and fairly priced. It's a great spot to drop in before a show at the van buren next door! I believe all the pinball machines were $1/play and there is a token machine that breaks bills into tokens.

Absolutely enchanting. You had me at secret entrance !!! (Inside Ziggys magic Pizza ) The retro disco dance floor blows you away on your way to the bar ! Such a fun selection of Original House Recipe cocktails! I got something with ginger beer that was really refreshing and headed for the pinball machines ! Loved the little drink tables between the pinball tables ! Very convenient . Basically $1 a game regular old school quarters ! Which I like ? So many revival/retro arcades do the "by the hour unlimited play" which just blows the nostalgia and laid back vibe for me ? I loved playing at my own pace and enjoying a slice of Ziggy's exceptional pizza right in the middle of gameplay! The Ziggys staff located me while playing pinball the arcade , to deliver my white pizza slice , hilariously named "pretty fly " . So if you like pizza or pinball or even just a tasty cocktail perching upon a retro disco dance floor? Ziggys Magic Pizza has the easiest FREE PARKING anywhere in The area .

Love the hidden aspect, looks like you're going into the walk in fridge at ziggys, and then you are transported into another galaxy where pinball and David Bowie rule! There are fun drinks, space themed, and great music playing. We came on karaoke night and this cute kid stole the show. The food is ok, but the drinks, vibe and affordability are where it's at. The service is friendly and quick, can't wait to go back!

Cool little place inside a pizza shop. Didn't try the pizza since we had a slice across the street at Via Della, but cool to have a beer and play a few pinball games.

7th spot of the evening. It was about 11:15pm on Saturday. We were able to walk in right away after ID check. There was no line. I've been here many times before so this place is just okay to me. I was already done drinking at this point but my friends said one last one so I had some pineapple drink with tajin around the cup. It was too sweet. If it's your first time, then you might enjoy it. Or, it may be your kinda vibe but it's not really mine. Definitely did not like the sticky floors at all. The entrance is cool and the light up dance floor is cool but everything else is whatevers. They have a dj, some pinball machines and a few tables for people to sit, eat, drink at. Pretty casual environment.

The SECRET of Ziggy's! The elusive (and even MORE wonderful) Pinbar! A Pinball Barcade?!? With Bowie Elements?!? and it was Emo Night when I showed up?!? Uh yeah. SIGN. ME. UP. Affordable and delectable refreshments that fit the theme perfectly and a wide assortment of Pinball games in an intimate yet spacious area!!! Now go! Don't walk! Run! And Let's Dance at Stardust Pinbar!!!

Dance floor and atmosphere were great!! Such a fun time with friends out dancing!! Plus pinball for our dance breaks!! Pizza from Ziggys was awesome too

I visited this place on a random night out with my friend. I was hoping to get pizza from ziggys but ended up going thru the secret scary entrance to stardust. I did not expect a light up dancefloor and disco ball. I think we went during 90s/2000s night because the dj was playing some songs from when I was in high school. Everyone was having a great time dancing with drinks in their hands. 10/10 would go again for the vibes!

This spot was such a hidden gem--I swear, walking in felt like being transported straight back to high school, rocking out to Limp Bizkit, Nine Inch Nails, and all the other angsty legends. The best part? It wasn't crowded at all, so we snagged a table, ordered some drinks, and basically turned the place into our own private throwback concert. My inner 17 year old self was having a blast! We will for sure be coming back here soon!

We visited during normal business hours so weren't able to experience the DJ vibe, but was totally awesome ! We sat at the bar and were able to get pizza brought to the bar. Drinks were strong for the price. Pinball was fun

This bar was a little tough for me to find, but I eventually made it. It is located in and on the side of Ziggys Pizza. You can enter through Ziggys or do like I did and just enter through the patio. The place has a decent sized dining area and an outdoor patio where the smoker's go and where you will find some tables to dine at as well. They have a small private parking lot There is no bar seating and you will find pinball machines here, hence the name pinbar. I am really feeling the place's eclectic decorations and vibe. It has a color changing dance floor, a DJ booth, and is decorated in a Mars Attacks movie theme. It is dimly lit and has a lot of blacklight effects going on. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed them. They offer food, but it is from Ziggy's. They serve mostly wings, pizza and fries, but they also have salads and a couple of hoagies on the menu as well (don't tempt me with a good time). I ordered some Ziggy style wings and fries. It took about 8 minutes for me to get my food. It was fresh, hot and delcious. I really liked the wings seasoning. They were decent sized and very flavorful. What drew me to this place, however, was their drink selection. They have some awesome, tropical drinks. They were right up my alley. I was like a kid in a candy store and had a hard time choosing. I ultimately went with a Saguaro Slammer, a Pineapple Passion, and Starburst. They did not disappoint and were all so good. Picking a favorite one is like picking your favorite child....I just can't. They have happy hour from 5 to 7 on weekdays and run special nights everyday except Tuesday and Wednesday. Some of those nights include Motown on Mondays, Planet Her on Thursdays (Ladies drink 1/2 off) DJs on Friday and Saturday and Sessions Sundays. I highly recommend checking this spot out if you are in the downtown phoenix area. They have awesome service, delicious food and some of the savoriest drinks I have had.

Ask the Community - Stardust Pinbar

We jammed with DJ Chris Villa (boyeee) and DJ Torres... any other DJs ever stop through?

    Are under 21 allowed?

    Its 21+ after 9pm or 9:30pm

How old must you be to enter?

We allow all ages until 8pm as long as accompanied by adult. Saturday & Sundays we open at noon.

Would this be a good place to go to for my 21st?

Yeah im sure you'll have a great time, but they don't have any VIP tables so just keep that in mind that you will be standing the whole time. It is a super fun bar though.

Is there a certain age limit?

It's a bar... so it's 21+. It's not a pinball arcade, just a bar with a dance floor, a few tables and 12 pinball machines. Doubtful they would allow anyone under 21 in, since there is a bouncer at the front door.

I've never been to a bar/speakeasy that was so immersive from start to finish! The vibe was very 70s flight , funky, fun, and totally unique. They give you a boarding pass and a pin, and the flight we were on was from New York to Tokyo! You get a welcome drink with your ticket, along with some peanuts, which was such a nice touch. The welcome drink was light and refreshing, and the peanuts had a nice salty and spicy kick. The service was prompt and attentive, and the flight attendants had some great recommendations. You even experience turbulence during the experience, which really adds to the immersion. You honestly feel like you're on an actual plane! The drinks are themed around New York and Tokyo, so there's a nice variety to choose from. Overall, this was such a fun and unique experience. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun way to grab drinks with friends or even for a date!

Lets cover how you get there... as tickets & seats are limited release, Monday mornings at 10am AZ time, for the following Friday to Thursday only. Midweek tickets are available for seating & buying drinks only so spur of the moment bookings. But seriously recommend the Captain's table seats (which you can read below) 1) sign up for Sunday email blasts of the booking link (didnt work in my experience, but read on) 2) either get email link or wait for Monday 10am & next week of tickets (should) be released). Now in my first experience, neither the Sunday email or Monday morning release happened, maybe because they had plenty of tickets left for the midweek? Not an issue previously Yelped about so thought I'd add their customer service was absolutely wonderful & responsive to send the ticket link & helpful with allergies & setting up a birthday surprise. The ticket options are the following. $25 to get in, sit & buy cocktails & watch the other +-18 people get free cocktails & absolutely wonderful 4 plate small bites. As you can see from all the pics the food is fantastic & themed for the trip. The Captain's table tickets either come in 2 pack or 4 pack (seater tables) & well worth the experience. Now the website has a lot of info to read, one of the things it lists is a 20% "service charge" & that gratuity isn't included. Dont be concerned with this, ill mention it at the end. My advice to the management is to reword this sentence or it could be very misleading & a put off in this day & age as now I'm thinking i need to add 30-40% to the bill for service charge & gratuity... & believe me all the staff worked hard & are well deserving. About 5-10 mins before take off, head to the welcome desk at the Wren & Wolf, pick up your boarding passes & walk outside about 30 seconds around the corner to stand in line. Previous review talked about long waiting, didnt experience that as our doors opened bang on time & one of the Captain's checked out ID & boarding passes. We moved through a rather small beautifully decorated check in counter with period 70s time zone clock & boarded, to be shown our table. The interior is extremely comfortable, other than the 3x 4 seater Captain's tables, the rest was wrap around bench sofas & 70s low swivel soft chairs. As your eyes adjust to the dim lighting, the interior is all 70s wood, at one end is a full sized bar decorated with some chrome & lots of unique matching 70s style cocktail shakers. After the doors close, the stewardesses, dressed in 70s style single piece uniforms, run through a quick preflight take on the safety talk, while you sip on a welcome complimentary cocktail & nuts. Whilst at this point, our stewardess brings us our first course of absolutely delicious, mini NY style bagel, lox, lashings of cream cheese & topped with caviar; all whilst explaining we get 2 cocktail choices each included with our price. The announcement is made to depart, a rumble is felt below your feet & the LED screens (which you've not noticed all over, looking like large airplane windows) light up & the curtains are raised to reveal the Carry On terminal.... we taxi as the LED windows display a HD video of take off, all synchronised to the various angles & sides of the plane, meaning each window has a unique & different perspective of the take off. Our theme night was NY to Tokyo, so we took off, flew over Manhattan with the Twin Towers & carried on into the clouds. The whole time these windows are their own entertainment, finally circling Japan & landing. Next, 2 Japanese pot stickers with King Crab. Empty plates are swiftly cleared & its not long until our next course Next up, Japanese Waygu skewers eated around a shitso leaf. Then finally one of the best NY cheesecakes I've had, using crushed up Heath bars. Cocktail menu is large, all kinds of unusual selections & half way through the trip, the Captain announces, Its Martini time & the Martini cart is rolled out to all. After we thought we were done, my wife is presented with a beautiful Happy Birthday Cocktail & signed napkin. We'll if my wife is having a 4th drink, so must I. I was advised this would be at my own cost, which is nice to remind folks, but even looking at their alacarte menu, prices were extremely reasonable.. & we've just had 7 cocktails between us included. As the plane comes to land, you feel the landing gear extending & the bill is handed out. Tere is where you pay the taxes & service charge, but the bill lists "gratuity" & believe me, everyone & the experience deserves 20% here. Theres a chance to add a very small additional 3-7%, for me 7% was $6 & yes the entire experience & service, including making my wife feel special on her birthday was amazing.

It also features a lot of great art that fits really highlights the Mexican bar vibe. The waitress/bar tender/ agave expert was very welcoming and know a lot about their tequilas and mescal option. I love me some smokey mescal, I dont remember thet name of the drink but it had some kind of elote triple sec or something like that along with Mescal and it was quite tasty. Trust me I was in no state to remember ingredients but this is from my foggy memory. I also got a pick of the cool ice blocks that has an Agave inlay that they put in the tumbler with your drink. I will definitely be going back for their wide Mescal and tequila options. I didn't see food in the bar, but they have a food truck out front that smelled amazing, but sometimes I simply dont want to eat when there are plenty of drinks to be had. They do have Esquites, Tacos, Quesadillas, Mini Chimis, and loaded fries. I will have to do another review on the food when I am not out being a borracho. But, if you're looking for a really cool bar, KWSC is for you. I stopped by on a week day evening around 8:30 p.m. Located in Roosevelt Row, while there isn't parking, I found free parking on the street a few minutes away on foot. Ambiance (4.5/5): My type of spot. Dimly lit with a speakeasy vibe. There are eight or so seats at the bar, and the rest of your seating options consist of comfortable chairs and sofas. You'll see a lot of photos of people's bums on the walls lol. This is indeed part of the appeal. For free, if you would like, they will take a polaroid of your butt and memorialize you eternally on the walls. While I didn't do that, if that's up your alley, go for it. Service (2/5): This is the main area of improvement. After being seated, I was greeted promptly and got my first cocktail promptly. From there, things fell apart. I had to grab the bartender's attention to order my second drink and to close out. It was a week day and they weren't busy. And there were two bartenders. A lack of attentiveness. When I closed out, I noticed that the cocktails were both $2 more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was told that the menus were outdated... umm what? If you're not going to re-print your menus, give people a heads-up when they arrive. I understand that most people won't notice, but this is deception. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet. If you're trying to eat here, all they have is snacks. The menu doesn't specify but I'm thinking it's probably chips or somethign like that. Drinks (4/5): A lengthy, and interesting, cocktail list. Similar to a speakeasy, you're going to see creativity and an interesting blend of flavors here. The most popular drink is Fuck Nazis. We're seeing a theme here. KWSC is an interesting spot. For various dollar amounts, you can get funny things outside of the polaroids of your bum. My first cocktail was great. My second one, a tiki drink, not so much. The menu said that there would be some flame action happening. It didn't. Just another example of the service falling short. If the service were better, Killer Whale Sex Club would easily be a five-star experience.
