I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this Starbucks has really gone down hill. I went through the drive thru, and my payment method wasn't working initially. Instead of being kind and patient, the lady (Karina/Karime?) was irritated, rude, and downright stuck up about it. These things happen once in a while, god forbid. When I asked for a straw for my coffee (twice I might add), she ignored me and closed the window. I was never once rude or ugly to her in any way, there was no need to treat a customer that way. This is my absolute favorite Starbucks! Not only is the entire team super friendly, but they make the best drinks in my opinion. They're super consistent and I feel like I can actually taste the espresso in the lattes or shaken espressos, unlike other locations that are a bit heavy handed with the sweeteners and milk. I usually order the sausage and cheddar sandwich food item however I ask for no egg because I am allergic and can't eat it (although cross contamination isn't a big deal). However I've given this location 3 times ordering that item and each time they left the egg on it (and one time they took the sausage patty out but left the egg in). On my travels across the state I ran into this coffee shop and glad I did. I was beginning to nod and that hot Pike Place is just what I needed to wake me up. With nonfat milk and 3 Srevia packets is all I needed to make it more delicious. I even added a hot sausage and egg sandwich and must tell you it was delicious. I was genuinely taken aback for I have never experienced someone so rude. I attended this location with my family for a relaxing day to get out of the house after having an addition to our family a few months back. Let's be honest here, things are different, feedings, strollers, naps, crying, and diaper EXPLOSIONS! Upon needing to change our new addition who is a 3 month old baby, this location has no changing tables in their facility (either bathroom). The federal BABIES ACT ( bathroom accessibility in every situation act) (2016) and California's AB-1127 (2017) requires publicly and privately owned facilities have at least one baby changing station be available in a women's and a men's restroom where the public congregates. This includes, but is not limited to restaurants, coffee shops, theaters, libraries, etc. It is utterly frustrating and appalling, not to mention lawbreaking, that this facility is not in compliance with this act. read more
