Like other Circle K's, it could use some cleaning up to keep up with the shiny new QT's in town. The prices are still competitive even though there's not a ton of gas options until you get to Broadway. The snack/drink selection is as good as any run of the mill Circle K. The clientele is questionable sometimes, unfortunately. Mostly normal folks, but there's been at least two occasions when we've seen people dressed in all red. We're not talking about little old ladies in red hats (I believe they're called the Red Hat Society). Unfortunately, we're talking about stereotypes here, and these red individuals look like gang types (and I'm a former social worker who has worked in impoverished areas, so I'm decent at spotting this type of person). It's slightly concerning, but we've been here dozens of times, and we've only noticed this twice. So we still go to this Circle K, but with wider eyes. Whew, this review got longer than I wanted it to be. Here's my wrap up. Overall, it's just another Circle K.

Julie the store clerk (old white lady Karen) was very rude and unhelpful when Speedway's gas pump…read morerefused to turn off on a fellow patron. The patron had gasoline covered on them with a young child in the car. After the young lady went inside to ask for help and let Julie know there was gasoline all over the floor, Julie said there was nothing she could do and refused to clean up the gasoline around the pump and other vehicles. I'm appalled how Speedway would treat a fellow patron especially when their pump refused to turn off. Luckily the young lady was right there to turn it off but was covered in gas since the pump hadn't disengaged. I sat there to see when Julie would come out to at the very least examine the hazard which she never did (I left after 20 mins). The young lady simple asked for paper towels or at the very least to come see the hazard and Julie refused decent human common sense. There were no customers inside the store other than myself when this occurred so Julie could've easily locked up and handled the hazard. Do better Speedway and Julie aka old white Karen.

In the state of Arizona, if the ID is vertical after 30 days of the 21st birthday AND is from the state of Arizona, then yes the sale can be denied, BUT because my ID is from out of state, there was no reason for her to deny the sale. I asked for a manager, she said no one was there and then I asked if she could give him a call and said "no I'm doing that; next in line." This was around 4:00 pm or so. Clearly your cashier needs to review Arizona laws if she's going to continue checking individuals' IDs. I went down the street to Chevron and they happily sold me what I wanted to buy. Unfortunately because of this incident, this Circle K gas station has lost my business.
