Service is 10 stars. The woman in the drive through was warm and friendly and helpful in taking our order. She was very efficient, taking orders in two lines of cars and directing traffic so orders weren't mixed up at the window. The man at the window was super friendly and chatted us up while our coffees were prepared. Thanks for wiping all the cups to clean up the little drips! As far as the actual coffee goes, I'm not a fan. Admittedly, I am a coffee snob, so take that into account. I had the nitro cold brew and the actual base coffee is pretty bland. The nitro foam was gone quickly and it was gone after the first few sips. You can see that in the photos. It was basically mediocre cold brew coffee. My wife had a white chocolate lavender nitro cold brew. She liked it "more than anything at Starbucks." After all that, we come up with a 4-star rating. Go to another location. This is by far the worst wait time in the area. I bet I could drive 20 min out of my way and still save time. They are super friendly when you're here like every DB... it just seems to take multiples longer than other locations with the same line. Being that my yelping days began in Oregon (Orygun) I am quite familiar with the Dutch Bros brand - fast, fun, sweet and young at heart , the coffee barn with the Dutch Windmill ish drive ups are a welcome sight in sunny AZ. They are ALWAYS drive thru! Always extra friendly, have the pre ordering down, they're a nice change from the adulting vibe of Starbucks. They also have pretty dang tasty smoothies. If you're in the know, ask for swag in the form of fun stickers for your ride or trike or buggy. The only downside, they are usually busy busy. read more

I have to start off by saying I have some experience over a period of years with Dutch Brothers, so I have an already formed opinion of them in general coming into this experience. And that opinion is that I admit the coffee may not be as high quality as some of the better coffee shops, but still sometimes I just want the Dutch Brothers experience with solid coffee hopefully. And that's what I got. Historically, at least for me, I've had several Dutch Brothers locations where I've been annoyed by how much time it took to get through the line due to over-chattiness (in my opinion). I get it, they hire and train very enthusiastic people, and most of the time those staff work out well, but sometimes you are just rubbed the wrong way by the person's personality or they talk for a little too long. But at least you're going to get someone with enthusiasm. On this visit to the new Oro Valley location (which I'm thrilled about btw), the experience was great! A charming young woman helped guide me through ordering, as I was pretty sure I'd recently had a drink that contained 911 in the title recently, and it hopped me up pretty well and I wasn't sure if they had something similar but with less caffeine. She let me know that the 911 has like six shots of espresso (HELLO, not right now thank you) and suggested the (iced) kicker, and man that drink worked out really well. Of course it's on the sweet side but the sweetness didn't overwhelm or distract me from the coffee flavor, which you could still taste (not always true on those sweet iced coffee drinks). And the right amount of ice to allow you enough quantity of liquid but still keep it cold for a little while. Anyway, it was enjoyable. They were great about my birthday (I'd mentioned it) and the guy at the window was extremely pleasant and likable as well. The drink was good, the service was EXCELLENT, the time was great (short), and it was fun. FYI the reason I said I'm thrilled about this Oro Valley location is because this area is missing something exactly like Dutch Brothers. Yeah, yeah, there are several Starbucks. Come on, get real. But no coffee houses (or legit coffee houses) outside of that vein that are worthy of repeat visits (sorry if that offends anyone, I know there are some shops and yes that includes the Savaya, I'm just not a huge fan). This area could use a coffee shop you can count on to have variety, quality, service, and value and so far, this Dutch Brothers is delivering on that. read more

The coffee is pretty good, though I think the greatest enjoyment comes from trying the extensive list of fancy coffee drinks, smoothies and teas available, which I usually sit away from due to my perpetual effort to get my beach body every summer. As much as that goal escapes me, Dutch Bros always had good service. The staff is friendly and just make going their worthwhile. I've been going to this location regularly since it opened (so regularly they know my name and drinks. Oops.) The staff, both the order takers and drink makers, are friendly and efficient. Don't let the longish double line of cars worry you. They have a great system of moving you through ordering and drink pickup. If your order is a simple one, someone will even run it out to you before you reach the pickup window. There are tons of drink options or you can create your own. Just ask. Some of the drinks are a little too sweet for me, but I can always request less of the sweet part of the drink. One visit here, my first ever to a Dutch Bros, and yah! Great! The line of traffic was long and we merge from two lanes but it seemed to work. The visit was TOTALLY contactless. No cash accepted, you slide your card in and they handle the screen and you touch nothing but your order. They came out to my car to do this so as soon as I pulled up, my Americano was ready and perfectly set to go. The "sippy" portion of the cup is nice and easier to drink if you wear a mask. The drink is delicious, I added splenda and creamer and YUM. I appreciate their safety methods which makes me feel good about the store in general. This is for the Oro Valley location. read more
