Used $2 off smoothie so my total came to $5.64 (tax included) I gave Malik H $20.64. Malik H had already tendered the $20 in the register so when I gave him the .64 he said "that's okay, I owe you $14.36 back" I proceeded to share with Malik H that I preferred to give the .64 to lighten my change and get $15 versus the $14.36. Malik H was having major difficulties comprehending simple calculations and was insisting he was going to give me $14.36 but I had already handed him the $20.64. I showed Malik H on my phone calculator the math he still was not comprehending. I then asked the other employee who made the smoothie to help out Malik H she reluctantly agreed but wasn't much help. She asked Malik H to identify the $20.64 he had laying on the register. I can't remember the gal's name but at one time I knew het name because I had approached her about a position I had open and was interested in hiring her. Normally she's pleasant but on Saturday not only was she not helpful to me the customer and Malik H her peer in the business but she looked miserable at work. I also have gone to Jamba juices newest location off of Grant Road and was not given the correct change back but had gone through the drive through for convenience purposes so I wasn't about to return for the change. I did bring it to the manager's attention on my next visit to the Wetmore/Oracle store when I saw her. My recent interaction Saturday at Jamba Juice is a very poor example of Jamba Juice, their expectations of their employees and the management staff. Salad Nation is located in the malls food court, so that experience in itself can vary from very crowded, busy and loud to quiet and empty. Plenty of seating though! My go to choice is one of the salad size options (regular or large) that come in 'bucket' which is a deep bowl and of course some waffle fries. There are several dressings that sound deciduous but I find myself continuing to go back to the Cilantro Avocado. The waffle fries are insanely great. Hand batter and perfectly fried, some of my favorite in town... like top 3. Being that it's a mall, there is plenty of parking, bathrooms and space.
