The drinks that we got were so good the yogurt parfait was so delicious the service was great the inside was super clean

I ordered the brewtiful smoothie and the blue paradise bowl. The smoothie was definitely better than the bowl, as the ratio of sorbet to toppings appears to be off. Which is odd, considering that the smoothie had no issue with ratios and was very smooth. What really put me off about this location is the overall hostility that you get here. When I arrived, I sat down because I wanted to enjoy what I purchased before continuing on with my morning. But the cashier, who didn't spare me more than two words, put my bowl in a to go bag. This doesn't really make sense to begin with, given that it is served in a disposable cup regardless. There is also no bathroom, which is made obvious by this weird half wall to the back area. The setup makes it feel like Fruit Shack does not want you to stay, which makes it hard for me to want to come back. read more

Great quick pit stop on a hot Sunday summer morning. Made our bowl and smoothies quickly. Parfait was almost forgotten and they apologized for the wait, which was not too long at all. It was delicious all around. Signature strawberry smoothie was as it should be, Hawaiian sunrise was tart, yogurt parfait has a great vanilla yogurt, and best of all was the Acai Energy bowl. I ordered the double berry smoothie, great taste and good value for what you get. I checked some other smoothie places in the area and the price here was better. There's not a whole lot of seating, but it's great for takeout. Appreciated the quick and friendly service from the staff. I did asked for peanut butter in it but the lady who did it put too much and the smoothie just tasted like peanut butter. there was large peach chunks in the bottom. it wasn't good enough quality for the price. Popped in on a Monday afternoon. I was in the area and craving a smoothie and this was the first place that popped up on Yelp. Small shop with not much in terms of the interior, but they have a good selection of smoothie options, as well as juices, milkshakes, and bowls. I had a chance to really take my time deciding since there were two patrons seated and waiting for their order and a gentleman waiting to place an order in front of me. There was only one employee and he was doing everything. He managed to get it all done in a timely manner without seeming flustered at all. I ended up getting g the green monster smoothie--I think that's the name. It had spinach, banana and lots of other good stuff. It was delicious and exactly what I wanted. So, I went in to order around 11:20 A.M. on Friday, Mar. 14, 2025. I walked in, didn't see and didn't hear anyone. I heard the door ding to let the workers know someone had walked in, and no one showed up. I waited about 3 minutes, then kindly said "Hello" towards the back, no response. I waited an extra 2 minutes, and yelled "Hello!?," then, the girl FINALLY came out. She honestly looked very upset to see that I was there, she walked up to the counter, rudely said "What would you like?" I then respond with ordering my food in a kind voice, and she silently types it in, and rudely says the price. She doesn't ask me if I wanted anything else, she doesn't say anything else either. She then just saunters over to make it, finishes, brings it to me and hands it to me without saying a word, all while looking ticked-off. I then kindly say "Have a nice day!" to no response again. I've been going here for many years and have always liked their smoothies. The last few times the restroom has been blocked off to the public when one of my kids has had to go! So twice now I have had to haul the kids over to a neighboring business to use their restroom. If you have little ones you know they can't hold it. Wether they have good Acai, yogurts and power drinks, i wouldn't know. Do not go at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. Employee kept the sign off and chairs piled up to make it looked closed. Once we ordered a few Acai bowls, malts and smoothies to go, she kept taking orders from later walk ins helping them first because our order was complicated. Alrighty then except she fulfilled their orders first! We waited over 20 minutes for our order just to be made. Other people came in, lots of smiles and hello's, very quick service except for us. I normally love this place and hate giving it a bad review but the person that is currently working there was not pleasant at all. Her hair was hanging over her face. I am assuming when you are working with food you need to have long hair back. She seemed like she did not like her job. This is our first visit to the Fruit Shack but it won't be our last. My wife was in the mood for yogurt. Since the kids are always in the mood for anything that resembles ice cream, we decided to give this place a try. They list all kinds of smoothies, special combinations or make your own. Their basic yogurt flavors are chocolate, vanilla, pomegranete tart, original tart plus a feature flavor. The feature flavor when we were there was french vanilla. They also have sherbet available. The smoothies range from $4.00 to $5.15 or so. You pick your flavor and can choose fresh fruit or order one of the combinations listed on the board. You can also add supplements for energy, fat burning, protein, or stress relief. We decided on small bowls of yogurt. The kids choose the chocolate. One added gummy bears, the other added powdered malt. My wife opted for the original tart and it really hit the spot for her. The toppings were no extra charge. While they were fixing our bowls, I noticed that they also carry pretzels, pretzel dogs, veggie smoothies, and something called wheatgrass (superfood). So next time, we may try a pretzel dog with a smoothie. Or get a cone to go. There is not much sitting inside, one table that seats 3 and a counter that seats 4 or 5. They do have a couple tables outside. We were waited on right away and the girl was really nice when explaining the toppings to the kids. Today was a bad experience for many of us. Too bad this owner does not see the value in having two people work in the morning when it is busy. The person there today was very nice, but the service was terrible. One person cannot do everything at once to create a nice customer experience. I placed a phone order for 2 green drinks at 7:30 a.m. I arrive at 7:50 and two people were ahead of me. One person received their order and left which took about 5 mins. Then the man in front of me waited while the gal went in the back to clean a bunch of things. I asked him to let me pick up my order next and I would be gone. He was kind enough to let me go ahead of him. However, after waiting 10 mins for the gal to help me, I learned that my order wasn't even started yet. It took her another 5 mins to start making the drinks. The man in front of me left with frustration because he had already waited 15 mins. Then a woman came in while the gal was making my green drinks who had called in an order at 7:30 also. By now it was 8:15. The gal actually stopped making my drinks to assist the woman standing there only to look up her order she placed online. I was really frustrated by this time. Luckily she told the women that she could not complete her order because they ran out of products etc. That woman left and came back in 2 mins and asked me to tell the gal making my drinks to please cancel the order entirely She did not have another 20 mins to wait! I finally got my drinks at 8:20. (WOW, 50 min turnaround time to get only 2 green drinks). Pro - Good drinks. Yummy. Con - terrible customer service. I mean in a matter of 20 mins they lost 2 customers and now me. Get it together folks. Just hire another person to help. Besides, it is really a good idea to leave one person handling all the orders, making drinks,, etc? Anyone could have easily robbed the place.
