Always great having one of these close to me. Great staff and great drinks as usual! However, the building next to it is odd...

From up and coming medical students, to the middle aged hipster walkers, to the fashionistas of UofA.... In their yoga best or summertime "in" outfits... lastly... to the grumpy old biker group... you will experience it all here!! The sandwiches/pastries are great and highly addictive. They sell out fast. I'm not a coffee connoisseur... however, I do love my peach tea! The baristas service is always friendly and helpful in decision making. Enjoy. Sit outside. Take in all in.

I ordered mine on a gluten free everything bagel and I am honestly not sure if it was gluten free or not. Since I only have a minor sensitivity I didn't think too hard about it, but it did taste like a regular bagel. If it was gluten free then this was a great gluten free bagel! Three of our orders came out before the other two, and they told us they would bring the food to our table when it came out. We chose to sit outside, since the inside was full. After several minutes had passed, and the rest of our food hadn't come out, we went in to see our food had just been sitting on the counter. This was probably a miscommunication of some sort, but I do wonder how long they would have let the food sit there if we hadn't come in. The sandwich was good, but it did taste like something I could make at home. I would need to try more menu items at Ren in order to get a better idea, but the rest of their menu and bakery case does look promising!

From the very moment I walked into Tea Leaf and Creamery, Nora greeted me with such genuine kindness and openness that it instantly melted away the outside world. It wasn't just a "welcome"--it was the kind that makes you feel like you belong there. The atmosphere? Absolutely magical. The kind of place where time slows down, where every detail feels intentional, and where you can just exist comfortably. It's rare to find a spot that feels this alive yet so peaceful at the same time. And the staff--Nohe and Emmalie especially--completely elevated the entire experience. They weren't just helpful; they were warm, attentive, and felt more like friends you hadn't seen in a while rather than people you just met. Their energy filled the space with such positivity that it honestly made the visit unforgettable. I have to talk about the strawberry tea Nohe made because WOW. It wasn't just good--it was unforgettable. Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and crafted with such care that you can genuinely taste the effort and passion in every sip. It's the kind of drink that lingers in your memory long after it's gone. This wasn't just a visit--it was an experience, a moment, a feeling. Tea Leaf and Creamery isn't just a place you go to... it's a place you feel. And thanks to Nora, Nohe, and Emmalie, I already can't wait to come back.
