Update! They only have one high chair and no changing tables in the bathrooms. I hope they can update this to make the spot more family friendly! I love the food, drinks and staff but this was a bummer when I recently visited with my friend and all our kiddos. There were other customers with young kids so it felt like everyone was trying to get the solo high chair and I had to change my baby on the floor. Luckily, I brought a changing mat with me but still not ideal. They just built this store so I was thinking they would have included changing tables especially since they serve kid drinks.

It's so nice to have a Desert Drifter in Oro Valley! We were wondering when & what the small building was going to end up being. I wished for a coffee spot and it came true!! I love the mural, the inside design, and that there's a drive through. It's very cute inside and has 2 bathrooms. Service was quick. I was a little bummed that the cups didn't have their logo on it. The speedway location also didn't have the logo on the cups. Not sure why but I'd love to see it on there, easy advertising for them and it's a cute logo! I've enjoyed the iced lattes, iced tea, and seasonal drinks like the berry matcha. We'll be back!

Such a great addition to Oro Valley. I've visited the Speedway location before but this new OV spot is just as awesome. It's a perfect place to catch up with a friend or get some work done. The staff was friendly and provided quick service. I ordered the Wild Bloom smoothie and it was really good and not overly sweet. One of the first things you'll notice is the amazing mural outside. Inside, there's plenty of seating and a cool neon sign that reads, "The desert grows wild things, you are one of them." They have seating outside as well. They also sell local goods and some fun merch, including a shirt that says, "Your latte shouldn't fund a CEO's private jet." Overall, they did a great job capturing the desert and Tucson vibe. It's a great spot!

Stopped in to check out this addition to the Oro Valley food scene. Been awaiting the opening since we tried their original location off the freeway downtown. A beautiful space with both outdoor and indoor seating and a lounge area inside. Order at the counter or drive thru. Coffee drinks, smoothies, and other drinks on the menu. Didn't really look at the food offerings, will leave that for another visit. Northern exterior wall has a desert SW mural. Wow! Oro Valley let them have a mural? Pretty cool! Drinks were tasty and reasonably priced. Staff friendly. Check out Desert Drifters. Shop Local.

Stopped by on opening day after my first indie bookstore stop at Stacks in Oro Valley. Very busy, and the staff were doing am amazing job keep up with the drive through orders, and the line wrapped around the inside. They were laughing and having a great time and working hard! My desert detox smoothie with mango, spinach, avocado, and pineapple was thick and creamy and green and delicious! The inside is so cute with plenty of seating at the little bar, the tables, and the cushy living room area! Theres even a selfie mirror! It looks like this location will do a great business!

One of the best coffee shops in Oro Valley. So smooth and rich. Huge mural painted on side of the shop is very cool.

The Nauti Bowl (my selection) was a heaping bowl of açaí and pitaya topped generously with peanut butter, banana, granola, and cacao nibs. I got the second-smallest size, and even so, was very full. The peanut butter and banana really make this bowl filling! My partner built his own bowl, and was quite excited that the options were so open-ended. The staff were super helpful, especially once we told them we hadn't been in before. I really appreciated the flexibility of being able to choose between house specialty bowls (which you can adjust as desired) or building your own from scratch. I also liked the variety of sizes: four options, ranging from small to quite large. The shop is clean, bright, and comfortable, with boppy music playing. It was a welcoming spot to sit and eat. Note: I was initially going to give Nautical Bowls four stars because it's casual counter service, but here's the thing I realized: they should be compared against their immediate peers (not, for example, a fine dining restaurant), and in that realm, they knock it out of the park!

Wow. New favorite sandwich shop!…read more The Lemongrass Beef sub was incredible. The beef was tender and full of bright flavor, and the mix of fresh herbs, crunchy veggies, and a little jalapeño heat made every bite pop. My husband and I split the sandwich and we both loved it. I also ordered the Honeydew Milk Tea with egg custard and boba. The tea and custard were perfect and refreshing. The boba was still good, but the texture felt like it had been sitting for a bit. We visited about an hour before their 3pm closing time on Monday, and the other days of the week have later closing times, so that could be why. I enjoy Capriottis, Firehouse, and Baggins, but Banhdicted is on a whole different level. The drinks are wonderful too. Being right next to Lee Lees makes it an easy stop, and it is close to the Tesla supercharger which is great for grabbing food to go. Customer service was friendly. Service was fast. They have an app for earning rewards. Seating is cozy inside with a couple of spots outside. It was comfortable for the two of us and not busy on a Monday afternoon. It is officially our new go to spot for sandwiches and drinks!

I got the BBQ Pork Banh Mi and my fiancee got the Lemongrass Beef Bahn Mi. Both sandwiches were fantastic: the bread is outstanding - soft yet a perfect crusty crunch - the meats were perfectly flavored and so tender, then wrap it up with the perfect flavor combinations of the fresh veggies & cilantro. The seat area is small & quaint, more of a takeout restaurant than a place you'd hang out. But if you choose to there are a few tables and it's a calm atmosphere. The staff was kind and got the food out ASAP. Overall I highly recommend and will be returning soon!

I also appreciate the store's liberal refund policy when there has been food that wasn't good for some reason. The store is also always very clean. Sometimes for a while they're out of the organic red lentil pasta that's the only kind I can eat, but I just started stocking up when they do have it. What I especially appreciate about this location is that whenever we've needed help, every employee has been very responsive, and for me personally the most helpful has been David at the fish counter. I have a challenging illness that requires me to be on a very strict diet called low histamine, so I have to have extremely fresh fish and meat that's been processed and frozen very quickly. David always tell me which kinds of fish that I've been able to tolerate have been delivered that day, and gets me frozen fillets from the back because ones that have been sitting out defrosting are riskier for me. It's scary adding foods back into my diet as I improve, especially ones I've never eaten before like new kinds of fish, and he has made this process significantly less stressful.
