I'm in Tucson visiting my father, and every time I'm here, I try to pick up his favorite treat--Dunkin's toasted coconut donuts. On my last visit, I checked two different stores and couldn't find a single one. This morning, I went out earlier and finally found a store that had just one left. I must have looked a little disappointed because the cashier noticed and said, "If you have 3 minutes, we can make some more." What an amazing gesture! Please, do yourself a favor and don't bother wasting your time at this location. One of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. The manager was useless when I complained, completely indifferent to my concerns. If I could give them a negative rating, I would. I was forced to give them one star in order to post this review. I took the time to get out of my vehicle to order (the drive through was busy), and when I walked inside, one employee said hello. After that, I was completely ignored for about three minutes. Nobody even said they would be with me in a minute or shortly. Nobody was in line before me. There were seven (as I recall) people scurrying around behind the counter and NOT ONE would pause what they were doing to take the order of somebody who GOT OUT OF HIS CAR TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. While waiting, I looked at the large screens above and behind the counter to determine what deals they had (e.g., cost of a half-dozen donuts) - three of the four large screens were about their silly drinks (seriously THREE) and the fourth had nothing to do with donuts at all, as far as I could tell. One would think, looking at the screens, that they were a coffee shop that did not even sell donuts. I finally walked out, then went back in to speak to the manager. She looked like she was in a daze -- she didn't respond in any meaningful way to my complaints about being ignored. Any competent manager would have recognized that I had a valid concern and said somebody should have taken my order when I walked in. Clearly, they are more interested in cycling people through the drive-through than selling donuts inside the location. I won't be back, which I hate because I really love their vanilla cream donuts. That said, they aren't worth the aggravation of the lack of customer service and indifferent management! I'll drive the extra four or five miles to go to Krispy Kreme -- hell, their donuts and coffee are better than DD's any day of the week anyway. read more

I visited this location on Sept. 20 around 7:30 am. First time I've visited this chain in a while. First deduction is for getting my doughnut order wrong. Ordered Cake with chocolate frosting. Received a Cake, chocolate batter and thin, clear glaze. The doughnut literally fenallll apart in my hand. Not the way any doughnut should be. Second deduction is for my breakfast sandwich - sausage, egg and cheese - was just above body temperature - lukewarm at best. Finally the coffee. Not what it used to be. Thin and weak - could get the same in any sub-par diner. Used to be better. The temperature of the coffee was scalding and handed to me without any insulating collar on the cup. Had to wait 15 minutes before I could drink it. As for the drive-thru it was not built with the modern "Prairie Schooners" in mind. Two three-row SUVs in front of you will block your ability to reach the ordering kiosk. The building is well maintained but ambience is rote - the average Dunkin' footprint. Work on getting the coffee and donuts "right" again before branching out to menu items that are currently out of the Dunkin skill set. read more

I've become a regular here and that's nothing to be proud of! But I absolutely have to get the coffee every day. It's just not the same making it at home, there's some type of magic in it. What the heck happened with Dunkin' Filled donuts? They are not like what they once were or is it just the location? Cutting back on the best part, but raising the prices by a lot!!! $9 for 6 donuts? Took 5 bites before I hit cream filling on every donut I ate. Basically, there was only cream filling on one edge. Where is the jelly/cream filling? Would give 0 stars if i could. 9:30am they were out of donuts and had 4 workers standing around talking and joking around. They were completely out of donuts and out of half my order. I asked when they would have more and they said "this is all we have". I placed ahead of time, came in on time and waited for 15 minutes while they did nothing. I eventually got up and asked about my order and then they took one look at my receipt that they didn't even start firing and they told me they were out of bagels and asked for me to sub the item and then they subbed it with the wrong item not the one I requested. By the time everything was ready the food was cold. They need some serious retraining, as a regular I will never go to this location again. This is the 3rd time in a row they've messed up my food. Updating during the covid-19 pandemic. They are open for take out, drive thru and I'm not sure about delivery.. I placed an online order for breakfast and an assortment of dozen donuts with an iced coffee. The order was prepared super fast! The hash browns and my breakfast sandwich were fresh abd hot. The donuts were a good assortment and were also fresh and melt in your mouth soft. My husband picked it up in the drive thru so I'm not sure what their safety measures are other than not allowing dine in. Their food quality is not struggling during the pandemic. I highly recommend ordering and paying online then just driving thru to keep everyone safe with the most minimal contact. read more

The employees are rude and snippy with extreme attitude. They served burnt Snackin Bacon and when I brought it to their attention the girl got all offended and said "I'll see what I can give you". No apologies or "let me make this right" or anything remotely representing good customer service. Then my drink wasn't ready when my food was and I waited and waited. When I walked to the counter into inquire about it, it was just sitting there and they never said anything to let me know it was ready. It was also messy with drink dripping all down the sides. Usually Dunkin' Donuts is great. But this morning I went there and waited in a very long line, and ordered a bagel sandwich and hashbrowns. I literally got three small potato rounds in my hash brown order. How could you even charge for that??? And the bagel was so toasted that it was almost burnt with a little bumps on the top of the bagel. Definitely won't go back anytime soon! They do an excellent job here, and I don't say that often. They are quick and always very friendly.

I'll start by saying that I originally went to the DD at Grant & Swan. Not only can you not go inside to physically look at the selection, they didn't get the order correct, even after I repeated it 3 times. The donuts were dry and had very little filling inside. They also don't give military discount. Now for the Dunkin Donuts I went to about 3 hours later to try to get my wife the vanilla cream filled donuts that were supposed to be in the order from the Grant Rd/Swan location: I got to go inside and physically look at the selection of donuts while basking in the ambiance of the aroma of that great DD coffee. They got the order correct (and I was able to physically see that they had my order correct). They also give military discount. When I got home with the donuts and my wife tried a bite of the vanilla cream-filled donut, let's just say, she's not a smoker, but she was probably looking for a cigarette. The donut was packed with the vanilla cream filling. It was oozing out. The donuts were very fresh. There is a bit of distance between Grant/Swan and Harrison/Broadway, but it's worth it in my mind. read more

This Dunkin Donuts just recently opened very close to our house, and it is a welcomed addition. I love their house blend coffee and bagels w/cream cheese! I also love their K-cups for my Keurig coffee maker, so it's easier to get them now! This location is new, so it looks nice, and is still pretty clean. The staff is always friendly. The parking lot stinks, though. It's really tight, and can get packed pretty fast. Also, if you go too late in the evening, they're often out of donuts, so you might leave without your donut of choice. But they always have coffee! read more

Senior citizens on the east side once again have a place to congregate since the DD a mile down Broadway closed a couple of years back. Since then, they've been wandering the east side aimlessly, searching for a cheap cup of coffee and some place to sit for hours on end, telling their survival stories of the Great Depression, bad marriages, and gout. Having said that, the new Dunkin' Donuts is a welcome addition to the east side. Mind you, their donuts are OK - I prefer Young's, Donut Wheel or Le Cave - but the DD coffee is actually pretty good, and the bagels are decent, too. The new store is squeezed onto a narrow lot between Harrison and the Sonic on the other side - entrance into the property from west bound Broadway is cumbersome, as it puts you face first into the outbound drive through traffic. I went into the store at 9 am this morning - it was packed with seniors, mothers and their children, and others from the neighborhood. The parking lot was full, there were people in their cars waiting for parking spots to open up, and I heard a couple of people say they had parked across the street by Albertson's. The staff was friendly, seemed to be well trained (knowing the difference between a donut and a bagel), and my coffee was prepared correctly. The premises were clean, most varieties were in stock, and the lines moved well. I got out of here with a small coffee and a donut for $2.60, including tax. I've had several bad experiences here--and maybe it's just been bad luck? The last couple times I'd done drive thru, the donuts I've brought into the office have been on the stale side. Not totally inedible, but definitely along the lines of "leftover from yesterday". The one time I've gone in, the service was bad. The man who took my order clearly did not want to be there, and snapped at me rudely when I sat my toddler on the counter (while still holding on to him, just for a second while I grabbed my wallet from my purse) "please get your child off our counter". Whoa buddy, I'm not letting him stand on it, rub his feet on the counter, or grab at your very hip earring.
