Solid spot and we usually come through the drive-thru. Drinks made right about 90 percent of the time, but if it isn't they are good about fixing it if you go inside. The drive thru line can be busy sometimes but they move the cars through somewhat quickly. There are once in a while occasions however when the wait can be long. Mostly if not all the staff here are friendly and helpful! The ambiance inside and outside the store is pretty good, despite the parking lot always being a crowded hot mess. Although I live near the Starbucks on Naglee, I'll drive over to Clover at tines just to receive service from Tyson. The lobby is not very clean, not like the standard clean that you can reliably expect from Starbucks. They have a lot more staff behind the counter, more than I'm used to seeing at other locations, and the extra staff did NOT seem to have any impact on efficiency. They person who made my Cafe Misto did not know how to make one. Mine was served lukewarm with milk that had not been steamed, and therefore there was no froth on top either. It's a huge disappointment when you're looking forward to a hot cup of coffee. I asked the Barista for 3 packs of Turbinado sugar for my Cafe Misto and she asked me to repeat myself before she said that they do not carry that. The person who took my order overheard me asking for the Turbinado sugar and she grabbed them for me as the Barista's facial expression turned foul. I did not ask her to remake my Cafe Misto correctly because I was dissuaded by her attitude, and lack of product knowledge, and I just wanted to get out of there by that point. Usually the person making the drinks is educated on the products that Starbucks carries, and they are educated on how to make the drinks so that we patrons can get a consistent experience no matter what location we visit. This location has put someone who is grossly inept in charge of making their drinks, and she also had a condescending attitude, like she couldn't be bothered with understanding what Turbinado sugar is. Her fellow employee filled the gap by fulfilling the need at hand, but either way, she has no business making drinks. The low reviews are not wrong, something is really, really off at this Starbucks location and it's not as simple as poorly trained staff. I was waiting in what i thought was the line to order but turns out I was waiting in the order pick up but the guy working the front counter saw me looking directly at the register waiting to be called as I waited politely and never once mentioned if I was waiting for my order or ask if was waiting to order until another customer walked in went straight up to him in which he took her order and that's when I realized wow I'm in the wrong line but it would have been nice to be acknowledged or at least directed to the right line I left feeling so ashamed like they don't care to even acknowledge a person and some guys walked in while I was waiting for my order to be done and they all placed their orders and the guys were all offering to pay for everyone in their groups and joking and playfully pushing each other away from the card machine so one can pay for all which I thought was a beautiful gesture but of course the Starbucks staff were making gross faces at them and eye contact demeaning those guys too.. this place is off. the clover location is horrible on helping your guest neeeds! I have been to their locations and they go out of. their way to help! Every Sunday my husband goes thru the drive thru and brings one of our 4 dogs, he orders my coffee and a water and asks for a cup of puppa cinno for 4 dogs, they would give him a venti cup and at home I would divide it up for the dogs in their bowls! Now, they refuse and give him the tiny plastic cups, no lids and he is driving.. ok he asks to put in a paper cup... hmmm they stack on top of each other, no lids in a cup no lid. he gets home and I have whip crème all over, are your people so dumb that they think the rule u have is to pias customers off! I ordered a drink and breakfast sandwich via the app. I believe this was my first time ordering food too, because I normally JuST get drinks. I knew I was early but I still went in and asked if my order was ready (sometimes it has been ready before the est. ready time). The guy at the front really didn't want to talk to me and ignored me at first, but he looked through the basket of bags w/food and said it wasn't ready yet. Ok. As people's food was ready, and they knew they were there waiting, they called out their name. He basically got annoyed w/me because I asked a few more times if it was ready, over the span of 20 minutes. By this time he knew my name. He checked and they were now for sure working on it and said he'd call my name. I tried to get out of people's way so they could get to the counter. I remember faintly MAYBE hearing my name but it also could've been "Adriana" and it just sounded like mine. It was a really low voice by this guy. After what seemed too long, and more bags getting added to the basket, I went up to the counter and stopped a gal and asked if my food was ready. She was standing right next to this guy too. She looked through the basket, pulled mine out and goes "here ya go". I told her thank you and left. I think it was incredibly petty and unprofessional of him to purposefully whisper my name, when he knew I was waiting for my food the last 20 minutes. My sandwich was an english muffin w/egg whites and ham. I ate it as I waited in the gas line at Costco. At first look, it just looked like EGG only and was immediately like, oh hell nah. I did not just pay $5 for an egg white and bread. I opened it up to inspect and the ham was a little itty bitty piece and it was folded in half? Every time I pull up in the drive thru, there's a long line and it takes me 30-40 minutes to get through the line and on top of that the drinks are made in the most "idgaf" way possible. Save your money and some stress by not coming here! When I first came in, the first thing I noticed was that there were many workers behind the bar despite how many employees were working. Well, unfortunately this turned out to be the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. When I ordered there were two people on the register, one guy taking orders and a girl next to him looking down on her phone. There was also a guy on the corner with his arms crossed doing nothing and then a lady eating in the front while talking to other employees doing their job. I've counted over 9 employees working on a Sunday and counted only 3 people working: one working the register, one working the drive-thru, and one actually making drinks. The drinks took forever to make and there was only one guy making drinks out of all the employees. This location is absolutely terrible. I have never been told what I want instead of what I very clearly ordered more times than from this location. Yesterday 02/11/2024 I went to this location and ordered 3 drinks. The ONLY hot drink was luke-warm at absolute best. The other two were iced drinks. One ICED London fog and one iced black tea (custom). We were told to our face that the London fog doesn't come iced. If you pull up the star bucks app, go to "Tea's the VERY FIRST PAGE shows clear as day "Iced London Fog". I proceeded to turn the screen around so the associate could can see the drink listed on the menu with the picture showing an Iced London Fog. She then stumbled into "oh oh ummm well what I mean is ummm it takes 5 minutes to steep". My question is, why lie about making a drink? You could have easily said "ok no problem this drink takes 5 minutes to steep would you mind pulling around front?" I would have happily complied. But no they flat out lied and said it doesn't exist. Then today 02/12 we try the same location again thinking, well maybe she was new like one of the employees stated. This associate in the drive through took our order and repeated it back perfectly. When we arrived at the window she handed us cold banana bread loaf, handed us a HOT London fog and when we told her it was a Iced London fog she replies "you didn't say that, you told me hot but I guess I can fix it". The lack of customer service and accountability is staggering at this location. My drink of a Black iced tea with custom pumps and whole milk had no milk. She fixed that with no fuss because , again the sticker clearly read "whole milk ". After the Iced London fog was made my friend took a sip and realized it was butter. She specifically asked for 2 additional pumps of vanilla syrup, the London fog comes with 4 stock. That's a total of 6 pumps of vanilla syrup right? No, she told us we said just 2 pumps and by this point we were so fed up we just left. I'll never visit this location again, they have a 100% back to back record of terrible customer service and rude staff. It's covid19 season and I understand the stress of working drive thru. And My drinks taste good. It Came out timely because I ordered and walked to the door to pick it up & not the drive thru. however they don't always read the mobile order labels correctly. And I'm not going to try assuming why. This time I received a venti instead trenta. I'd like to receive what I pay for in all honesty. However it isn't worth troubling the staff for a remake when they are so slammed like I feel bad. But I again paid for a bigger size than I got .. Other issues have been when I order a dragon drink (contains coconut milk) I mistakenly receive a mango dragon fruit drink (no coconut milk). And do wait for the remakes (I usually order in multiples of two). It's frustrating on all sides I bet. Staff should make each order as it is with less rush so they're accurate.
