Had to make a pitstop at Starbucks top pick up a tall mocha frap from my long drive back to SF. Sadly, this SB was not that great. There was only one other customer in the store, yet it took nearly ten minutes for a team member to acknowledge me. There were 3 members behind the counter and it appeared all three of them were helping out at the drive-thru window. Finally, one of them walked over the the cash register and then spent a few minutes looking at her phone. After she finished, she looked up and took my order. It took another several minutes to get it made. Anyway, not a great tragedy. But definitely not a great customer service. If SB had a secret shopper and they reported what was going on behind the counter, I am sure the store manage would have received some very strong feedback. One pick only this time. read more

This location seems to make all my drinks well and follows instructions when I make customizations. They have mobile ordering and are helpful with finding drinks at the pick up counter. The only downside is this location is always, always busy. For such a small store it gets crowded and the drive thru line is absolutely insane. It starts in a weird gap between two businesses and wraps around behind the back of the building so there's no way to get out and moves so slow. I love a drive thru but I always opt for in store pick up here. read more

We were walk in and the drive through was hoping as well however, we got our drinks and food in a reasonable amount of time and were on our way. Just was here with my family, we sat next to the door and I was near the counter. A lady and her daughter were waiting on their drinks, when they went up to the counter to get their drinks the mom noticed her drink was not made correctly, she had asked for sweet cold foam on the top and there was none...she made a simple request to have the drink fixed and the barista thought it was okay for him to question and not listen to her request, she had to repeat herself about 5x because he kept acting like he couldn't hear her. The amount of frustration that lady felt was unbelievable to watch, she just left with her drink and after the barista thought it was appropriate to talk about her. Also needed to use the bathroom and once I went there I changed my mind because the bathroom was disgusting, the only thing that was changed was the garage bag....there was no toilet seat liner, not enough toilet paper and the the toilet itself was horrendous. People need to realize when they are working on this type of work place, customer service needs to be above and beyond...If you are not a people person do not work in customer service. Everyone has a hard day but to be kind goes a long way, just something to think about if and whenever anyone decides to come to this Starbucks location. Love this Starbucks, I always go through the drive through and even if there is an extremely long line i don't think it's ever taken longer than 15 minutes for me. Today I went there and the staff was cranking drinks out in there, however my drink came with strawberries when I asked for them without strawberries (when she repeated the drink back to me it cut out so I just said yes to whatever was said lol), and when I told them they apologized and remade the drink and I had the new drink in literally under a minute I was like tysm! Had some fun banter while they remade it and everything, great vibes. The staff here is friendly & they work hard. The 1 star here is for management basically. They don't have enough staff for this location, and it's consistent issue. We came inside this location last Saturday the 26th to get some coffee and food. We typically order ahead by mobile & or go through the drive-thru. Anyone who's been here knows this drive-thru, especially on the weekends is nuts, 25-30 cars deep at times. You have to keep the drive-thru line moving, I get that. But.........when I order coffee and it takes 30 minutes, and I've gotten my food, basically had to eat it before it gets cold, and am waiting for the drinks to come out........that can't happen. To be honest, 10 minutes is too long for coffee, let alone 15, 20, 25, or 30. This store is a company money maker, they need to support the staff with proper help to do their jobs efficiently. read more

It is March 13, 9:47 in the morning. I proceeded to get a double smoked bacon sandwich and a medium caramel ribbon crunch extra caramel extra crunch no whipped cream. I get to the window. The woman handed me a large that had extra whip cream on the top and bottom. she said "oh it's OK we didn't charge you for a large" I said "yeah but I said I didn't want whipped cream. It's on the top and the bottom" she rolls her eyes gets and attitude, went and got her manager to dump my drink into a cup without remaking it because they're lazy and have a bad attitude, so the manager comes to the window with a even more funky attitude. This store definitely needs attention from the management team. We understand every store can be different but this location is way off. Only one table not the bar height was available not cleaned, and next to it, there was two trash bags. Ordered two drinks and waited about 17 minutes which is okay on a Saturday morning but the shaken espresso and caramel macchiato were terribly crafted. We attempted to get some water for the kid but did not bother, the tall red haired girl, may be shift supervisor, did not listen to our request at all. I don't really try their food only their drinks, however the drinks they serve is the best. The service is quick and polite even when there's a rush. The ambiance at times can vary from a bit light noise to a bit loud depending how busy it is. Also, they have a drive thru too if going inside is an inconvenience. It was busy on a Saturday morning at around 8 am, but this store needs to get their bearings together, because I saw multiple customers missing items and customers would have to go back to ask them. In addition, I also saw them tell a customer they ran out of something, so they had to give that customer a different item. Multiple customers were waiting longer than their wait times as well. There was one barista, whom by the way she was running things and speaking, seemed like the shift manager. She kept taking her mask down to talk to customers. She was also yelling "Everything's always broken in here!" Not sure if you really want to make customers feel more frustrated by yelling that and wishing they would have gone to another location. Several customers were already clearly frustrated. She was also the one handing out everyone's food orders rather than making drinks, so perhaps that's why the customers were missing food items. A little later, she has some coworkers or former coworkers come by sitting at a table. That barista/manager comes over to their table, hands them their drinks, and was talking for like 5 minutes instead of helping the other baristas who are busting their butts to crank out all the drinks (especially this one guy I saw consistently at the bar), so kudos to everyone else but her. I came to this Starbucks to order 5 drinks to bring to my family at the hospital. Since I was ordering 5 drinks that were all different and had customizations, I wanted to place a mobile order so that the barista would not have to enter in all of the different customizations. I went through the drive-thru, very aware that I had just placed the order and I even told the barista (Danie or Donie) that the order had just been placed. He told me that liquid cane had been discontinued and asked if I would like classic instead, I said that would be fine. Then, he proceeded to tell me that next time I cannot come through the drive-thru right away since they just had to pull all of the tickets and that next time I needed to wait. Mind you, there were no cars behind me, and I would've ordered 5 drinks regardless of whether it was at the drive-thru speaker or on the mobile app. He then, at the window, gave me someone else's mobile order and when I went inside to give the drink back, there were 0 people inside. I walked in(rarely do I go through the drive thru)and was promptly greeted. I ordered a tall nonfat latte. Barista was attentive and professional, asking if I wanted to add any food to my order. I did get one single tiny vanilla scone. It's the perfect size to have a bite or two and sip my latte and not ruin my diet. I work out of an office in my home, so I always walk into Starbucks. I feel it is more personal and I enjoy seeing people. I always like to see what's new in the way of food and drinks. read more

I love the drive thru Starbucks because they have the convenience of not getting out of the car when you're pinched for time (or dressed in PJs). I actually came here on December 24th and it wasn't nearly as busy as I thought it'd be. The line moved fairly quickly and the wait times were low. The drive thru is long and wraps around a whole complex of buildings. Plenty of room in case they get busy! The baristas were all very nice and got our orders right :) definitely a nice location and just off the freeway. read more

I have been in the drive through line for nearly 20 minutes and I only just ordered. I would have left, and gotten something else to drink from one of the million or so other restaurants nearby, but I can't: I'm trapped on both sides in this never-ending line. The girl was friendly enough taking my order. But to start with: how are you? Well it doesn't much matter how my day was going before, now it's going crappy cause I'm spending 30 minutes to the slowest moving most fuel inefficient cupped joe that I have ever experienced. Why no warning st the start? Why no apologies? This is the worst. By the way, I'm still in line, the 20 minute mark has passed. Tell my family and coworkers this is where I am. Update: manager was nice, but.. staff continued to be surprised why I was so bothered that it took 25 minutes or more to get my drink in the drive -through. Was told that they only are responsible for the time from the order to the window, and that they joke about putting signs up like at Disneyland lines.
