As an avid Starbucks customer, and someone who believes that acknowledging individuals is important the worst thing about this store is the fact that when you walk in 95% of the time no one even acknowledges your presence. I get it they're busy, they're manning a drive-thru in the midst of a pandemic, they're not allowing for the most part in store traffic unless you are picking up a mobile ordering and taking to go... But does that really excuse being personable and friendly to your customers who are loyal? So you have one person Manning your drive-thru, One person making drinks for your drive-thru, you have one person making food & One person roaming back and forth... three of the four people look up see you standing there not one person says hello! I'll be right with you or thank you for waiting I'll be right there. There's a variety of things that people can say to let their customers know that you know they're waiting and that you see them. It's not often I visit Starbucks (hate Coffee with a passion) and when I do I usually go to one inside Target but this location was the most convenient option after doing some shopping. I had a $10 gift card from Groupon that was about to expire and needed to use it so I brought Hubby with me where he ordered a Grande Strawberry Frappuccino and Tall Very Berry Hibiscus refresher for myself along with 2 Vanilla Bean Scones to use up the excess. The guy serving was really nice and offered an extra Scone for just 45c more. Total - a little over $11. The drinks were ready really quickly but for some reason we had some issues with the gift card, upon scanning it showed up as being empty but I hadn't ever used it so I'm not sure if the error was with Groupon or something else but the server was excellent and just zero'd our total and said he's ''got it'' when I tried to give him cash. For real?? They got a hefty tip that day. Excellent quick service and the drinks were good too. The Scones and other baked items they have are from La Boulange, they're alright. I love this Starbucks. I come here nearly everyday and I have never had a bad experience here like the other Starbucks in Tracy. They must have really good management because All of the workers are so nice and always make my drinks correct. Not to mention when the lines are wrapped around the parking lot you never wait more than 10 minutes. They're so fast. Sometimes they'll do questions of the day or ask what my plans are. They make sure to interact with customers and make sure we're happy. It's just about fall time and they put little eyes on they're drinks on the menu to decorate. I visit this Starbucks about twice a month and have never had an issue with my service, my order or their customer service. Why is that you ask? Well, for one, I NEVER use the Drive-Thru. Why? Why being rhetorical. If you've read my reviews about this Starbucks, you know I'm not a fan of the drive-thru service window. #1. Why sit and wait when, you can park, walk in and get your coffee before the drive-thru moves. #2. They always F*&* you at the drive-thru so, why use it. 3. If you use the drive-thru and want to complain about how slow it is or why they got your order wrong, refer to #1 & #2. Miranda messed up my order, I got a venti green tea lemonade sweetened. It took forever to get my order, I asked her if it was sweetened and she lied and said yes. It was not sweetened at all, I told her I asked for my drink to be sweetened and she had an attitude, while remaking the drink I can see her adding extra syrup. She literally then just threw the drink on the counter. She made it extra sweet. She should quit or get fired, if you don't have respect for your work or customers then it's not the job for you. I have been to this Starbucks for few years now. I have seen them work before pandemic, during pandemic and at present times when we are still in pandemic. They work really hard to make their customers happy and make their drinks right and fast enough. Irony is we live in a country where we take everything for granted. People - A piece of advise for all the customers especially unhappy ones, if you cannot appreciate what it takes to work in retail than please pick up an application in any retail restaurant and see what its like to deal with troubled customers like yourself over a cup of coffee. If some of you don't like the staff here and for some reason they are making your coffee wrong or not giving you free coffee for whatever reason you feel you deserve free stuff or you didn't get enough shots in your coffee or they take too long to give your order in person or mobile or they are too loud, than please buy a bag of coffee beans from Winco and coffee maker from Walmart and make it at your home- Voila right. Very disappointing. I was across the street eating at a place that had coffee and specifically went over to starbucks to get one. I was going to place a mobile order but the app said it would be a 16 minute wait, so I figured since I was only across the street, I would just go in or go thru the drive-thru. The drive-thru was backed up all the way to the street, so we didn't want to get in that line. We decided to look for a parking spot... what a nightmare that parking lot is! After we finally get a spot, we get in line to order (minimal amount of people in front of us - maybe 2 including the person already ordering at the counter). If ended up taking 5 minutes just to get to the counter. I ordered a grande blonde coffee and an ice water. The girl gave me the water but not the coffee, seemed she was starting to make the coffee from scratch (yes! Grinding the coffee beans and all - while I can appreciate fresh ground and brewed coffee, it would have been nice to know or been given a heads up of how long it would take since it apparently wasn't available in their 3 daily pots even though they are heavily advertising BLONDE right now). She told me nothing so I waited at the cashier station since that's where they normally hand me my coffee (not at the bar). a few minutes later another person took the next customer at my cashier station and kinda pushed me out of the way (still without expressing what was going on) so I moved over to the bar pickup area. 7 minutes of standing on the bar side (who knows how long I stood at the cashier station prior) I finally get my regular drip coffee. By the way - my friend ordered separately from me and she ordered the Carmel macchiato - they were out of the regular vanilla syrup. At least they let her know that when she ordered and told her that they would make something else for her if she didn't like how it was made with sugar free vanilla instead - but how can you be out of good ole vanilla? She tried it and it tasted "like crap" she said, so they made her another drink which was nice. But she received both of those drinks before I received my coffee, and I ordered before her. My frap had no cream base, so it was super icy, and separated within minutes. Last time I checked, a matcha frap doesn't have whip on the bottom. Ended up throwing it in the trash. It's a Starbucks so not a lot of unique stuff but it's what you expect. Baristas are always nice and accommodating. Gets busy (as usual) at certain times but then you just expect a little wait. Patience is a virtue and I don't expect them to move faster than they can. They have an outdoor window so they are also servicing that. It was a chick name ALEX, totally F'd my $5 drink up. If she makes your drink politely ask for Neelab or the girl that look like Neelab, JJ, Preston or Justin; my fav baristas. On the good side, despite the constant heavy traffic of customers, the staff kept moving and pleasant at all time for the hours I was there. I had my birthday drink to redeem on my gold card and was given a "happy birthday" by the person that took my order. I look at the label and it reads Time: 6:23:15pm. I make eye contact with the manager and she doesn't say anything. I'm a regular customer, here daily and my drink never changes. Everyone pretty much knows me, so I'll just say, Aimee's drink when ordering and unless someone is new, they know how to make my drink. This morning I went through the drive-thru, specified Ainee's drink given I know the voices of the team members and the girl says, "I don't know that drink", so I asked who it was and rudely and abruptly, the girl (ALEX) says, "Does it matter"? Oh Princess..... Your attitude is with the wrong person!!!! Alex has MAJOR attitude issues, she thinks her crap doesn't stink but she's truthfully in the wrong industry of customer service with the unprofessional attitude she seems to have each and every time I see her! Since my commute no longer takes me into Sacramento, I now stop into this Starbucks location and boy what a mess it is! It takes me forever to get through the line, my order is always wrong, and I've had one experience with one barista who wanted to make jokes because I earned a free drink and wanted to use it. I guess I could boycott Starbucks all together but there isn't another decent coffee place around. This morning I ordered a ham and swiss breakfast sandwich, got to work and opened up the bag and noticed there was a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich in there. On occasion I would order my iced white chocolate mocha only to have it handed to me hot. The day that the barista wanted to make jokes, I wasn't in the mood and informed him that I earned a free drink on my gold card. He proceeded to ask me, "Does it feel good to earn that?" I was pretty much speechless. I could of said some foul remarks to him but I just decided to keep it cool. This morning I left a little late for work, drove up into the drive thru at 6:33 am, got my order in at 6:38 am got to the window at 6:45 am and drove out of there at 6:48 am. WHAT A JOKE!! All I have to show for it is a measly free drink (which I'll take gladly), and a Starbucks random employee apologizing for the horrible service. The supervisor or manager Shelby from the last visit offered to give me a refund (which I gladly accepted) and my free drink but somehow that just doesn't cover the terrible service I almost always receive at this location.
