Thousand Oaks, CA After my friend and I had a heavy lunch, we wanted to walk it off, but the Gardens of the World is closed (Sundays and Mondays). So, we ended up coming to this Starbucks to chill. The first location we tried was drive thru and to go only. This store is easy to find, enough parking in the back with the sign for the entrance. Store is big enough, good for working or hanging out, and the restrooms don't require a code. Staff are welcoming and gave us time to decide. A nice spot to chill. read more

One of my favorite things to do on a Saturday morning is to spend time at any coffee shop and relax as I don't get to do that during the week. I opted for a peppermint hot chocolate which I have not tried as mint is one of my favorite flavors. It was a little too sweet but it was still tasty so I will try modifying it next time. Pretty standard Starbucks quality on product. What steps this place apart is the location and service. The location is in a former bank which provides great space inside and out. Inside space is super modern coffee vibe and outdoors provides patio seating. Inside is very dimly lit. As for staff: super friendly as soon as you walked in. Good service provided. Service - the barista refused to accommodate our request to split a venti into small tall cups. Like not to the point where it's "the hack" of getting more ounces. That's totally not what we were doing but just wanted the 26 ounces just split out into the tall cups for my 3 kids. I understand the tall cups are 8 ounces which is too much for my kids individually. The guy was just sassy to my wife about it. I order at this Starbucks every single day since I work at a dealership right down the road. After ordering a drink earlier in the day, I came back to see if I could just get a glass of ice water. They told me that I needed to order something to be able to get a cup of water. I come here every single day... And I can't get a glass of water without purchasing something else? This location continues to provide great service and drinks. I last came here yesterday; for a Sunday, the line was decent, and I got my drink in less than 15 minutes. I have yet to order inside. I stopped here while waiting during traffic and grabbed a milk coffee . The coffee aroma was pleasant right away. The balance between coffee and milk was done well. It wasn't too strong or too sweet. This location is in Westlake Village, on Thousand Oaks Blvd, catty corner to the TO Post Office. The people are always welcoming and great. Location is clean. Service is fast. Food and drinks are consistent. Great place to get together for an informal business meeting. They still have a small supply chain issue with a few items. Prices also seem to keep creeping up. I spent $15 on a coffee drink, egg bites, and a scone. Would I get a better breakfast deal elsewhere? Absolutely. And end up with something more substantial. **Scam gift card, warning!**Do not purchase your gift cards at this location. On 12/10 I purchased five $50 gift cards as Christmas gifts. Of the five cards three of them showed up as a zero balance when activated. Very frustrating the store could do absolutely nothing about it. I phoned customer service who were able to give a history of the card use. Two of the cards were actually activated before I even purchased them. The full amount was wiped out about a week after I purchased them,in Corona Del Mar. The third card also activated 12/6, prior to the purchase date and was wiped out in full as well, in Riverside. None of these cards had left my possession as they were Christmas gifts, A case was opened which is under review and I am awaiting their decision. Terrible! As was the customer service. I wanted to swing by Starbucks to grab a refresher, and this location just happened to be nearby. The drive-thru line was pretty long and almost reached the end of the parking lot but I only waited in line for about 10-15 minutes until I got my drink. Chandler made my day! Very conveniently located near many of the car dealerships on TO Blvd. The 'make yourself a cappuccino' machine at the Infiniti dealership has been put away during COVID, so I needed to grab some coffee while waiting for my car to be serviced; enter this Starbucks. Brand spanking new Starbucks drive-thru with deceptively large indoor seating area near the auto dealers in T.O. This used to be a bank, and the space was renovated and re-imagined into two suites within the building. Dear Hubby knew about this location opening, and suggested we stop by. I don't get out and about in the community as much as he does during the week, so this was a pleasant surprise to learn about and visit. A very large Starbucks Siren graphic lives on the front of the building to make sure you know where you are visiting. Once inside, subtle lighting and soothing interior elements offer a sense of calm. We stopped by on a Sunday evening, when it was lightly populated. I'm sure it gets busy during the work week. I loved the forest mural on the main wall with seating opposite the kitchen / work area. The baristas seem to love their large working space. They have lots of elbow room to create beverages, and heat / serve food, plus support the drive-thru window. There's a small amount of outdoor seating for when May Gray / June Gloom clears out. It was too chilly to even briefly consider sitting outside in the evening hours with a damp cold in the air. We enjoyed our warm greeting from the staff, and our well-prepared beverages. Since Covid they get my order wrong every time and feel they need to consistently lean forward and talk to me (they're always so kind, granted) while I wait at the drive through for my drinks-- which is weird. The owner of the building harassed me today They opened a new Royal Business Bank and posted parking signs a couple weeks ago. But today I parked in a spot that wasn't posted until today. I never saw the sign. The first day the bank opened. He was rude to me. Harassed me for parking there. I asked when did you put the sign here. He said today and he was having my car towed .
